So after using Philz since I got my M8, I decided to switch to TWRP since obviously Philz isn't being developed any longer. I had zero problem flashing this through fastboot and have had no problems with it since doing so. But if I tried to flash it any other way using TWRP managher, or Flashify, or Nandroid Manager, it would work, but then it said it couldn't mount /system and the phone said there was no OS installed. Something wonky with the partition. Flashing back to Philz through fastboot solved this and I could reboot into my phone normally. And then flashing TWRP through fastboot instead worked fine. Weird.
I do not trust apps for flashing a recovery. Period. Any app.
And Flashify, TWRP Manager seem to be especially wonky on the M8....
Cant download
Just want clarify something. For some reason every time i download twrp recovery from their site, it always stops at 99%, and when i download it using my device it will finish downloading but it will have a different md5. Can someone enlighten me why that always happen?

With the new download server, this should no longer be an issue. Just make sure you navigate to the TWRP page and access the Primary Download link from there.
I flashed the new twrp 3.0 I keep getting failure to mount reserve. Any fix for this.

[Q] Need Help with a Root Issue (Oneplus One)

Okay, so I flashed the latest CM12 onto my already rooted device. And now, it doesn't boot up. It's not bricked cause it does start in SAFE MODE, but i need help fixing this. Is it maybe because i didn't install Google Apps? And did i have to do that?
And now I'm really blank on what to do. The phone is always at the booting up scree. I does go into TWRP though.

You don't have to install gapps in order for the phone to boot up properly, just flashing the ROM zip is enough to get the phone to boot. You do need to flash gapps if you want the Play Store and the other Google services though.
Did you check the md5 of the ROM zip before flashing it? This is a vital step because it checks whether the zip has become corrupted or not during the download. A corrupt zip can be the cause of a non-booting phone.
If you can still get into TWRP fixing this problem should be pretty easy. Just download another ROM zip and copy it to your phone to flash. Or you can flash the stock images with fastboot.

[Completed] Urgent Help needed, in TWRP I formatted, now I can't flash any ROM

I have a Moto X play TX1562 EU version, I accidently formatted (so not just factory reset) in TWRP and now I can't install anything at all except fo SuperSU and a custom kernel.
Flashing via sideload doesn't work.
I am at my wit's end, I can still use TWRP and exchange files via phone and pc with that, but elsewise....
It gives me the error 'error executing updater binary in zip sdcard <rom name>.zip'

Odin says success but on reboot no changes

I've tried to flash many things using Odin 3.07 to my Samsung Tab 3 (SM-t210r). This includes newer version of TWRP, CWR, BlackHawk Kernel, and stock firmware. Odin says success, and then Pass but when I boot up there are no changes - old version of TWRP still installed, all apps still installed, etc.
Any ideas?
Thank you in advance

are you able to boot into recovery, if yes then connect device to pc via cable while in recovery mode. your pc will detect device storage. copy a different rom in device and flash it. if this doesn't work then flash miui with flash tool.

flash miui using twrp and don't forget to flash appropriate root solution with it(ex:supersu).
