[solved] bypass frp lock while drk error - General Questions and Answers

This tutorial will help you to bypass frp lock while direct root key or DRK is damage. I tried so many ways to bypass the frp but its custom binary blocked by frp every time i flashed a file.
1. download odin 3.12.x
2. Download and Flash factory binary
factory binary
Or you can refer to this thread
https://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/how-to/guide-how-to-fix-check-drk-imei-issues-t3379516
Or this
3. Flash the factory binary using odin. Just ticm ap then browse your downloaded file. enable dev opt. Usb debugging. (Enable dot search B under usb debugging if no yet activated)
4. download apk installer software for pc and Install
download here
5. After installing apk installer for pc. It will automatically detect your phone
5. Download kingroot.apk
kingroot download
6. After downloading kingroot.apk open APK Installer for pc and browse for kingroot.apk then install
7. After successfully installed go to your S7 then open* kingroot application.
8. Before you root connect your s7 to wifi.
9. Root your phone using kingroot. (In case you see"Just tap request" choose your s7, just wait after a while you will be able to root it.
10. If successfully rooted, Bypass frp using any frp bypassing app. (I recommend srs unlock because it has free bypass on frp download here ) or maybe you can just other application to bypass frp like crack z3x samsung tool 29.5, frp tool pro, frp hijacker, etc that supports g930f/fd.
11. Perform factory data reset under settings and after that try to perform wipe data/factory data reset thru recovery mode and wipe cache
12. Turn off your phone
13. Go to download mode. Press and hold at the same time (vol.down+home button+power button)
14. Check if the rhe FRP status was turn off
15. Flash your stock firmware.
Once you flashed your firmware successful. You will encounter an error about dm verity verification.
You just need to flash twrp 3.2.0.4 and install the disable dm verity zip file. Or you can just search to google if you want. I dont have enough time to upload the files but if i have free time. I will update this thread
In case of error try to repeat.
Do at your own risk. I have no responsibility if you brick your phone. Thou it was already brick hehehe just kidding
Im just here helping to share the method ive found thru searching the web.
It works for me.

Any chance you can send me the link i really need a combination rom for my G930F binary 2 but the only ones around are for AP SWREV B:1 and the only one i have for B:2 binary is not booting at all and i need to fix my imei number like yesterday i would really appreciate any help if you can.
The flash error you are experienceing device 2 binary 1 is because your S7 now uses the march 2018 update and now bootloaders have gone from U1 to U2 firmware and hence a U1 bootloader or firmware can no longer be flashed due to an Efuse that blows to prevent a downgrade you can check this out on sammobile check the firmware number from the release before march 2018 they will say G930FXXU1DRBE for an example but the march firmwares onwards use G930FXXU2DRBE for example.
Thanks

Yes exactely as it explain.
But I found an another way
---------- Post added at 06:17 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:05 PM ----------
If someone need it, this is way for me to fix DRK error U2 FRP Lock ON.
-Flash: Combination U2, let phone power on, then power off and boot to download mode
-Flash Stock Rom U2: Pit _ AP _ BL (Tick Erase Nand) with Odin
-Phone will force boot into recovery but will fail.
-Extract "Recovery.img _ Cache.img" from Stock Rom U2 > Recompil 2 files on .tar file.
-Flash the .tar file (odin)
-Remove FRP UFS usign Z3x, it will Done
-Flash Full Stock Rom U2
-Repair DRK by Root phone (Z3x)
-Done
It may be poorly explained but it helped me a lot. And I hope someone else could explain it better.

Trying to unroot Samsung Galaxy S7 manually with Odin

Everytime I try to unroot my phone with Odin it says the process failed and Auth failed, someone please help..
Download stock firmware from the primary root guide. Use Odin and select all three the ap and the two below it. This will recover you to stock. Without root. But first do a titanium backup or a nandroid backup of all your apps and contact.
Sent from my SM-G930V using XDA-Developers mobile app
I tried but it still says failed... in Odin I put in all BL AP CP and CSC files, in the left text box it says FAIL! (Auth). I've tried this multiple times but it failed.. am I doing something wrong? Will I not be able to unroot my phone.. it's a SM-930T

Have you tried going into super su and hitting on permanent unroot also heres a guide goto the bottom and there should be a part that says full unroot. Link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/ver...-to-notes-root-install-xposed-unroot-t3411039 goto page 1 wont goto page 1 even after editing it oh well. Lol
I've done that too and it says FAILED then the SuperSU app disappears from my phone

Try rerooting the phone through ODIN also make sure you are using the lastest ODIN if you need to boot into recovery and do factory reset and cleat cache but BACK YOU STUFF UP!!! Also what is you model number ex: SM-G935x
Edit also make sure u have secure start up off and have you lockscreen password off just in case
Well uh. now my phone is stuck in recovery mode and won't even start up normally.. and it's the SM-G930T

Hate to say this again but just to make sure did you try doing factory reset and clear cache. Also if its still stuck then use odin to flash the s7 engineer root file then go into recovery mode and then clear cache and factory reset it should work fixed my boot loop when my phone was doing it.
I did all this Odin still fails, I've tried all three downloads from XDA for SM-930T which is my phone

Well if worst come to it goto best buy and goto the samsung depart ment and belike my phone is stuck in a boot loop and they told me to have you guys reflash it. Thats what i did when my recovery was messed up and had a boot loop. Just tell them that the only thing that works is download mode or if they boot into recovery mode be like the factory reset doesnt do any thing. But i would say do this if its and absolute last option. I would say look around the fourms and mess around with it a bit more and ill do the same since you already tried petty much every thing.
Trying to unroot
Same issue here with 930T. Had rooted and was unsatisfied but I tried flashing TWRP and now I can't even boot into recovery, goes straight into home screen. Now I can't unroot after trying ODIN, SuperSU, Samsung Switch etc. Would love some help.
Make sure you actually try each one of these steps - I actually tried all these steps, and the last step worked for me. Took me 5-6 hours to unroot my phone. I use a Samsung S7 (SM-G930W8).
1. USB Cable matters. Try a different USB cable (best if it is the OEM one, if not one that gives enough power)
2. Plug into a USB 2.0 instead of a USB 3.0
3. Uninstall Kies
4. Re-install your Samsung USB drivers
5. Use a different computer
6. Use a older version of Odin (3.10 did not work for me, when I changed to 3.9 it worked)
Why not just initialize using smart switch.
So I would suggest going to this post here and downloading the ODIN 3.12
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2711451
I was trying to unroot for a clean root and this one worked for me the one made by PrinceComsy did not work for the flashing the stock ROM but it did work for flashing the ENG Boot ROM. I used 3 out of the 4 file to flash the stock rom I didn't select the BL file at all but you can if you want.
If you need any further assistance/help please reply to this and I will try to assist you further.

Samsung Knox Q

If samsung knox is tripped. But reverting back to stock firmware wil features such as andoird pay and samsung updates still be disabled as a result of knox tripped? or this only an issue on custom fw.
If the "KNOX WARRANTY VOID" has been tripped to 1, there is NO way to use Android Pay or Samsung Pay anymore on tripped device.

Yes, reverting back to stock fw will make it possible to get samsung updates and to use apps that doesn't work with root. Knox tripped won't effect anything except samsung pay or android pay and you loose your warranty (you won't be able to repair your phone in an official Samsung store) However you can still have a custom fw and use apps wich do not run on rooted devices, you can google methods on how to You can also get updates to the newest firmware if the development of the rom of your choice is still active

Installing a recovey is very useful so you can install custom roms and root your phone. Here are my instructions :
Unlock developer options in settings, go into about device and software info, tap on you buildnumber 7 times. Go into developer options and switch it on. Find USB debugging and switch it on.
You need to download ODIN and install it to your computer http://www.droidviews.com/download-odin-tool-for-samsung-galaxy-devices-all-versions/ download the latest version of odin
You also need to download samsung usbdrivers http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/SM-G920AZKFATT go down to downloads and click install exe and accept. When the download is finished install the usbdrivers.
Custom recovery http://arter97.com/browse/exynos7420/recovery/twrp/g920fi/ download the tar file and NOT a zipfile to your computer.
1. Switch your phone off
2. Press and hold down volume down + home button + power button at the same time.
3. Release the buttons when the warning comes up and press volume up.
4. Open ODIN and plug in your phone to your computer via an USB cable.
5. When ODIN has recognized your phone just click on AP and browse untill you find the recovery tar file you have downloaded.
6. Click on start. Let ODIN do it's job.
7. Your phone might boot into recovery or just restart itself and if it boots into recovery tap on Reboot and tap System.
Now you have a custom recovery installed and to boot into recovery switch off your phone. Press and hold down volume up + home button + power button at the same time until the samsung logo pops up and in the top left corner it will say in red "warning recovery not enforcing"
On xda you can find many different roms for galaxy s6 and hopefully you can find one that suits you. Follow the devolopers instructions on how to install them.
If you just want to root your phone download Super SU https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/supersu/download/zip/SuperSU-v2.78-201609011115.zip
Boot into recovery and tap Install. Browse the file SuperSU-v2.78, it's probably in the Download folder. Tap the file and flash it. When it's done wipe dalvik and cache and reboot.
You won't loose any data when you do all this if everything goes smoothly. Good luck!

STEP 2 : Now go to the ROOT J7 PRIME(2016) folder ( you will need to extract the rar file) you just downloaded and run 1-EnterDownloadMode.bat
STEP 3 : Wait for the phone to reboot into Download Mode ( If nothing happens after running 1-EnterDownloadMode.bat then you might need to disconnect and reconnect your USB cable and Allow USB Debugging (Check Always allow from this computer) when it prompts you. With this done, your device should automatically reboot into Downloading Mode.
STEP 4 : In Downloading Mode Run Odinv3.10.7.exe (Found in ROOT J7 PRIME(2016) folder) and click on AP and open
SM-G610_cwm.tar from ROOT J7 PRIME(2016) folder
After this go to Options in Odinv3.10.7.exe and uncheck both Auto Reboot & F Reset Time and finally click on start to execute the installation of CWM recovery. Wait for it to finish (When it says 'PASS!') and after that press and hold the Volume Down, Power and Home Button together ( To get out of download Mode ) and when you see the phone gets rebooted press and hold Volume Up, Power button and Home button to boot into CWM Recovery
STEP 5 : Enjoy! You now have CWM recovery installed
Second Part: Installing SuperSU
MUST READ
Use Volume buttons and power button in CWM Recovery to navigate through and select the different options.
How to Root
STEP 1 : In CWM Recovery, go to install zip package and then select install zip from sideload.
At this point you will have to connect your device to your computer and once done run ROOT.bat from ROOT J7 PRIME(2016) folder and wait for it to finish.
STEP 2 : Now run 3-Reboot.bat from ROOT J7 PRIME(2016) folder and you should see your phone get rebooted.
STEP 3 : Enjoy! You have just rooted your phone!
If you want to flash the stock recovery just repeat the steps for installing CWM but select SM-G610F_stock_recovery.tar or
SM-G610M_stock_recovery.tar instead of SM-G610_cwm.tar
P.S You now have a voided warranty
Cheers!

Works perfect and love having TWRP just for everyone else DO NOT use the 1st link it will download the G935V firmware which will not flash for the S7 flat.
Brother, you might want to check your zips. Your sm_g930_oreo root/unroot zip is missing the BL_ENTER_ENG_RECOVERY_G93*.tar and instead has BL_ENG_BOOTLOADERS_G930?? Also, your S7_G930V Flat Odin Firmware links to the G935V firmware and will not flash obviously to the S7 flat. Kinda important files if you want to use this. I was going to try to unroot and update to the Oct security patch and thank God I checked the required files before starting.
Sorry, stupid question I can't find an answer to. How do I tell what bootloader I am on?

what does post 2 say. If you dont want to be stuck on stock then you are done with updates the firmware in the OP is it that the last firmware that can be rooted
Yeah I know and saw that the 5th character had the 8 so it is a secure bootloader. Trust me, I went back and forth about root and no root. I decided that what little bit I was rooting for wasnt worth the hit I took as far as speed, heat, and battery. So far I am enjoying stock with the Oct security patch. If I get root in the future I may try it but for now I can run my themes and life is good, thanks brother.

Don’t get your expectations up it still uses the engboot for root. I just made it easy to unroot so you can use stock boot. Img

Oh okay. I will have to do some reading on Eng Boot. I'm not educated on what that exactly means. I did successfully use your root method and got to play in twrp which was really cool. I really like the adb tools setup. I'm having a hard time with the debloating. I'm trying to find out what files to remove and keep. The system is very slow rooted. I hope I'm not debloating wrong. Sorry I'm semi new at this.
Just be careful what you debloat. What I would do is go into settings/apps and disable anything you think is bloat then see if the phone runs differently for a day or so. Somethings you think wouldn't affect the running of the system do. That way if it does affect something you can go back in and enable it.

I went ahead and used stock files in Odin to flash everything back to normal. I went ahead and tried the disable method with it unrooted of course. It is running so smooth now. On top of it all the Samsung apps work which I like.
I learned yesterday after all day battling the rooted way deleting bloat that you are correct. There are issues from deleting things that you think would never cause issues. My phone instantly would lock up and the battery was draining super fast. It was not worth it.
I will take your advice. Thank you!!

So what kinds of things would I be able to do with root that wouldn't get changed back once I unroot?

That is good advice. I used the 'pm uninstall' method to debloat tons of Samsung stuff. Now I occasionally get random battery drains. Time to factory reset. I should have just left it, because my wife has an international Exynos S7 with nothing debloated, and it runs perfect.

Sorry for replying to an older thread but i'm having the same issue.
The phone I have is a Samsung Galaxy s9+ (SM-G965F/DS is writen on the box).
I've downloaded firmware from sammobile and with Frija none of which worked (tried all of the Android 10 (Q) versions from sammobile)
I'm using Odin 3.14.50 and installed Samsung usb drivers from Samsung SmartSwitch.
I'm pretty sure the country code should be BGL (Bulgaria) but i haven't found a good way to check it with what i have accessible
The phone isn't rooted and hasn't been before nor has anyone tried to root it.
The issue appeared during normal use (was scrolling FB when it started stuttering and glitching and it restarted)
Samsung logo is not visible just Custom Binary Blocked by FRP
This is the download mode if it helps but i'm in a desperate need to recover this phone.

Just to clarify flashing TWRP will not wipe the phone right?

No. It will not Flash or format the whole firmware or device. and yes, i know you have to Save your data the most of the phone. But in such situations, probably the phone has to be cleaned formatted to remove FRP completely.

here's i have a link over here, just try it.
Remove FRP Lock on Samsung with Combination File (Odin)
Here are some easy tricks to easily remove FRP lock on Samsung Galaxy devices by flashing Samsung combination file (firmware) using Odin.
technastic.com
But i think it can format your whole device. Because we have to mostly unlock the recovery partition from FRP. If recovery Partition has unlocked by FRP, There's 80-100% chances that you can save all your further data on phone if TWRP Recovery get booted on your phone.
Just have a try to given link, because we have just to "Bypass FRP" from the device in order to boot into recovery Partition.
If any problem persists, Please reply me with given screenshots.

I am giving this link to learning more from it. Mostly we have to bypass FRP for only one time.
Samsung FRP Bypass S9 Plus G965F, G965U, G965W - Pangu.in
After many requests, I am going to show you how to unlock or bypass Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 plus FRP lock or Google account in android Oreo 8.0 and
pangu.in
Just when you try to flash your phone via odin, at flash completes, just try to boot into recovery mode, not let goto system start of your device.

Stock ROMs aren't "custom", so they shouldn't be blocked. But before you try flashing from Odin, it might be a good idea to try restoring your corrupted system by performing a "factory reset" from the standard recovery. This won't wipe any pictures, videos, music or downloads, but will delete any apps you may have installed, along with their data. You WILL need your Google Account login and password when you first reboot after the reset. If that doesn't work, it may be a hardware malfunction and not firmware.

I've flashed the phone with the software from sammobile but with the latest update (01.2022) and older in the same revision.
I can't get into recovery even with the software from frija.
The instructions require access to recovery but I wasn't able to get into it.
Twrp is still failing even with different versions
Should I try a phone repair shop? I just don't trust they will keep the data.
Edit: sorry this was for the other reply i will try this now
I've just checked the guide and it seems it will delete all the data.
Also i'm unable to find a file with my country code

Okay. Just tell me Your Country and let me search a firmware for you..
Mostly in such cases, it's been hard bricked, that's why it can't going into recovery mode also.
I will find a firmware that's matches your device. Flash all of firmware on device. But it will remove your whole data. But your device be in working condition too.
If this doesn't resolve, kind go to samsung repair shop to troubleshoot it.
