I have noticed with some of the new ROMs out, and even some of the older ones, that the espresso rosie they are coming with seem to have a graphical glitch that is driving me nuts.
I cannot screen capture, so I'll have to explain it.
If you press the first button on the left to bring up all programs, just as you press it, it goes, green/red/blue (depending on which espresso theme you have) and the app screen comes up.
Anyway, looking at the green button, I can see a slight inward bulge, a sort of concave left bulge, and in the bottom left hand corner of the green button, it sort of flares out to the left.
The bulge is not on the plus button to the right, but the slight bottom flare is.
I'm supposing this is happening because when the espresso theme was first ported, it was maybe not done perfectly in photoshop, and then since then it has been copied over to successive espresso themes.
I've yet to come across a perfect espresso rosie theme that doesn't have this bulge.
I mentioned this a while ago in this thread, and I'm guessing it's been wrong ever since.

Yes, I noticed this on a lot of roms with Espresso Rosie, including mine, in fact. I wonder how this got started...

It sorta bugs me.....
I noticed this awhile back as well. Never bugged me, but I would sit and wonder why it was like that...lol.
yes very annoying. i think the left seperator line is a pixel thicker than the right one as well. something about it is different and it bugs me.

Absolutely its ok. Android is about free and open. I feel that anything anybody makes should be open and and available for all to benefit from
ok guys here is a theme i have been currently working on and just wanted to know if you guys had any interest in it. it doesn't have a proper name but its code name is Zen. feel free to suggest names and i will choose whichever i think suits it best. The theme is in a alpha stage at the moment as there are still lots of areas i plan on themeing. im also not 100% sure on the dock yet and currently testing ideas for a new one. i hope at least some of you guys are interested .

no reason its just the style of the wallpaper im using which was created by daaxix from twitter. i asked someone to provide me with a simple wallpaper i could use with my theme and he responded with this.
It's fine, I just thought it would look cleaner and more natural if it wasn't there

lol i dont know i just preferred it to the grid of squares on stock. if people dont like it i can try find a replacmenet yeah you have to be rooted.

This is the best theme I have seen since gChrome!
I converted this wallpaper from a Gnome (Ubuntu) wallpaper because I liked it. I set the line up so that the bottom row of icons on the phone lie in the dark region. This allows for a dark and light region, I use the upper light region for a google calendar widget, which makes the text easy to read.

With 1.6, I was using a framework.res that had a dark notification bar and simple, clear icons. I think it may have been taken from HTC's phones.
Has anyone made this again for 2.1? I really don't care for the default x10 icons.

Someone posted one in another thread which was different to the original but said it worked, and it did, so took to searching custom rom threads, pulled a few framework-res files, and came across it. As it now uses a 9.png I think you're allowed a little variation in the dimensions.

Cool good to know out confused me a bit when I saw the small bar so I assume this is the same with the pull down bar then?

I was thrown too by it, but yes it's the same principle which can be used with other 9.pngs such as drop down menus and the like, but I've not strayed too far with others as I've done it on a trial and error basis but not had any errors so far, so if you swap a 9 and your phone doesn't boot or you need to reflash don't blame me.

Not liking it either. But I guess I don't like to drastic of change to much . I'd like it better if it was a dark theme

yea i just changed it back to the 2013 version
There is a dark theme. Check the dropdown in the bottom left corner.

Only thing for me is the yellow is too bright, other than that the site is so minimal looking that its great
I like the 2013 glad were able to change back as I really hate the new one. 2013 one is much better, most of us guys dont like change its the women that try to change everything around its nice to be able to have some things stay the same.
I don't mind the design, but I wish more sites would stop stretching to fit the whole screen. A little margin on each side wouldn't hurt.
2010 version works for me!
I'd leave XDA if I couldn't change themes it's that bad...
Why are so many "improvements" just the opposite?
I wish people who have control of stuff would ASK first before screwing up our computers!

To the person who said they're messing up your computer, they are doing no such thing. It's their site, they're free to do with it what they want. Fortunately they give you choices. Most sites don't. Others have third-party fixes, like Reddit has Reddit Enhancement Suite and Facebook has Social Fixer. Or you can get Greasemonkey and apply fixes individually, or write your own if you know how (I don't).
This isn't perfect but pretty damn close - outline is my favorite subs theme, but this is a close second. Since my favorite doesn't work on OOS 10, I've been using this theme. Didn't see it in the forum so I figured I'd share it.

I use Valerie, Flare is good also. They both work really well on oxygenOS 10.
Also Flux and Flux White work well.

I think it was made with oos in mind. I just use the qs tiles and navbar while using swift installer for the colors.

In the description of the app I read custom 10, I thought it's okay, but not on this that I use I really like that it rounds the corners more, I did not find any tweak for that.
Dumb question: does this break safetynet if you use Magisk hide? This looks great, but I use Google pay and company email every day and both rely on safetynet

Probably not worth the risk. Google hide seems to work for me but I don't use any apps that really interfere with safetynet. Keep your job and stay unrooted.
If you can deal with the possible consequences and just want to give it a try, I've personally never had an app fail due to magisk. Hide has worked well for me.

If you like outline the best (mine as well) the same dev just pushed a new theme called DARQ and it's dark outlined along with gradients like LIV. It's freaking amazing!!
