Has anyone found a fix/workaround for the Bluetooth headset and speaker issues? With my Bluetooth headset in my ear, callers hear background noise louder than my voice. The same headsets work perfectly on my S7.
When I connect a Bluetooth speaker to my S8 so that I can listen to music, I hear mostly static. Again, the same speakers work perfectly with my S7. I have written to Samsung many times and they are less than helpful.

I have a Sony Ericsson A2DP Headset. It connects fine for both calls and for listening to music. There is however one small annoying issue.
If I'm listening to music (generally I have to have the volume up quite high) and a phonecall comes in and I take the call; something weird happens when the call ends.
The bluetooth connection is dropped and basically everyone in the vicinity gets and earful of whatever music I was playing before the call. This can be pretty bad if I'm sitting at one of our quiet, open plan offices. If I press the play buttin on my headset it reconnects and audio comes in over the headset again but it's not good to have to do this after every call.
Anyone else had this issue?
Thanks in advance.
Whenever I encounter a quirky bluetooth problem, deleting the pair relationship and repairing sometimes helps.
Works fine for me... Could be headset specific, as I use Motorola S9's and Plantronics 855's without the issue you're having.
It does it for me too. After the phone call the music is played through the phone's speaker for just a couple of seconds, then gets transferred to the headset in mono for a couple of seconds before reverting back to normal.
I can see this would be annoying if you were in a quiet place.
Sony Headset
and me, funnily enough I have a Samsung MP3 player and the headset works perectly with that - good old HTC
This is driving me to probably return this handset. With ANY headset, wired or Bluetooth, I randomly (but more often than not) get this problem when answering a call:
My headset microphone plays to my earphones, not to the caller, who can hear nothing from me, and I can't hear them. If I disconnect the headset during this phenomenon (wired or BT) then the handset will continue the loopback from handset mic to the handset earpiece.
Hi all,
well, problem is there since I purchased Huawei S7 Slim. I've tried it with several BT headsets and always the same problem.
It's paired and connected pretty fast, but when in call, other party can't hear me well while he is talking. It seems like tablet can't send my voice until other (incoming) voice is on. When other party stops talking I can talk and sound is sent normaly.
I've noticed this to be even bigger problem when other party is in some noisy place (on the street, listening to the music etc) and all those noises are sent as a sound to me, so everything I say gets muted (or in best case choppy).
Anyway, I can hear other party good, there is no problem in opposite direction, just outgoing voice get muted.
When I switch to speaker everything is good.
I've read somewhere that this is problem in Froyo, but my question is if anybody else got this problem and if there is some kind of solution. Wired headset works fine but I would like to get rid of it and move to BT.
Headset is Nokia BH 105, but I've tried BH 104 as well. Both headsets works just fine with other phones, and it seems to support A2DP, HSP etc
One more thing... when I try to listen music no sound comes to BT headset...
Hope I was clear with question and looking forward to your responses. Thanks in advance.
At work I listen to music on my nexus 5 with my headphones. When someone calls and I answer I can hear them through my headphones no problem, but they can't hear me.. Its almost as if connecting my headphones to the N5 mutes my mic.
Is there a setting I'm missing here? I thought the N5 may be thinking my headphones are a headset and disabling the mic but my other nexus phones had no problem with this.. I could recieve a call with my headphones and the phone mic would pick up my voice and as soon as the call is finished my music would begin playing again.. My N5 isn't doing this.
Any advice guys?
Are they cheap headphones? Like ebay special or something? Probably has the wrong connector and your phone thinks they have a mic.

is that headphone fully compatible with N5?
i own multiple headphones with mic and few wont work properly for calling(with RAZR).
For the music to play again, there may be settings in the app. Some players wont auto-resume!
I'm not sure what is happening with my Nexus 5 but I have normal sound for videos and recordings but the earpiece doesn't work for phone calls. The microphone works fine, speakerphone works fine, but the earpiece no longer works. I have had to resort to ear buds to have any privacy but that is just a workaround. The sound from the earpiece is otherwise unremarkable. Any ideas?
