will the NAG screen stop showing after any new OTA update?

Until your bootloader will be unlocked, it will keep to shown. To let it disappear, you must lock it again.

a update is risk free- ZUNE make before update it a complete backup from your phone- if you get any problems - you can restore it back . 7740 update are o.k- is not affected to chevron unlock
That is the tethering firmware update.
Cannot comment on Tethering firmware stuff as I havent used it but like mirolog said you always get to have a backup so go ahead and try
Maybe M$ need to be more straight when talking about updates lol

Root the phone. Check the "root" thread in Development.
Install from play store Root Uninstaller. Uninstall or freeze Rogers apps. Keep in mind, in order to upgrade OTA to JB, you will have to have the apps unfrozen/reinstalled.

Nexus 5 not updating all Google apps

I flashed my N5 back to latest stock and relocked bootloader. My problem is that the playstore does not show updates for all of the google apps, like keyboard or photos. Some do get updated though. I can still update them manually by searching them, but why does playstore not recognize them in the first place?
You can manually update the apps.
I prefer to leave my bootloader unlocked as relocking and unlocking wipes the phone.

Update to oreo without unlocking bootloader ?

Hello Guys
I just got a M9 today. Reading here I see that the Android Oreo is available. My version is MHAL29. So, tried some methods to update but no success.
So, there is a way to update without unlocking bootloader ?! Like OTA or something like that

Man, my bootloader is already unlocked.
I can't use themes, the update OTA option is not here.
I just wanna to turn my phone original again, with themes working, OTA working...

Why isn't your theme working? Are you on custom rom?

I don't know why. I put my device on fastboot mode, and my bootloader appears locked, but in settings I have no option to update (there is no app), and themes doesn't work. I read that when we get the bootloader unlocked, this features get broke.

I don't think there's an offline firmware update zip like there is for the C636, which would basically reinstall your firmware. That's why I asked which version you were on.
If you can't find a way to resolve this then you could always rebrand to the C636 and it will reinstall your firmware in full
I'd try using firmware finder from the play store first and see if you can install an update using the proxy add-on, however, you'll need to get into system update to do this. Can you not even get into that from settings?

google assistant not working

google assistant not working on honor 6x after unlocking bootloader. what to do?
Mine works and my bootloader is unlocked also.
Do you have latest Google app build? Unlocking bootloader resets your phone, so it might be not present yet in the initial build.

This what? If an outdated build of Google app is installed and if it could be the cause of the issue, an update should fix that. Update the app, and retry by starting Google Assistant holding the home button
