Here is a little workaround to fix the "Not Certified" Play Store in Custom ROMs...
- install the following App from Play Store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.evozi.deviceid
- open the App and Copy the "Google Service Framework (GSF)"-number
- go to following page and pass the number in the field at Bottom of the page and click on register
https://www.google.com/android/uncertified/
- go to Settings/Apps and clear data from Play Store
- reboot to TWRP and wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache
Reboot and your device is certified
If you are not able to use Play Store you can get the app here:

ok, thanks for that guide. But why should i do that? is there any disadvantage having an "uncertified" device? I mean.. i am able to get updates and all apps i want without certifying it
There are other people that are unable to use Play Store or update there apps since Google blocked these kind of modified devices...
Worked for me. Simply Register and Clear the Play store app data. No need to boot in to twrp.
No, it doesn't work
Not work.

I installed Aroma 7.1 64-bit open gapps, may be those who got certified might put some light on this.
Besides when i go to that google uncertified web page it says my android ID is registered.

Bro i think Google has a certain criteria to certify device, one must has to install minimum amount of Google apps specified by them.
I flashed Aroma & only flashed following gapps
core gapps
Calender
calculator
camera
Chrome
drive
Gmail
maps
photos
phone
google play music
YouTube.
I might be missing some apps like duo etc. to get my device eligible for certification?
which apps you flashed.
Just clear Google play store data
And make sure That safetynet passed in your device
FACTS: Don't use Xposed. Only Magisk. If your rom had root , like in lineageos, then google play might not be certified. But if magisk is installed, you might actually pass. It's not always this case thou
Don't use xposed just use magisk pass safety net and then hide playstore with magisk hide then clear cache and data of playstore app
And most imp reboot before opening playstore second time
BAMM there u go certified

is there any rom that will completely get rid of google? i tried viper and the play store was still there
i just don't want any gapps
To my knowledge, the only real true way is to root and flash an aosp rom (if available). They usually don't include Google apps unless you flash a gapps zip file. I hope that helps

just delete google play services and playstore manually.
There's a fork of lineage os that removes the google framework. There was an article on xda a bit ago. Anyway, here's the project page (https://lineage.microg.org/) and here's the article (https://www.xda-developers.com/unofficial-lineageos-built-in-microg-avoid-google-services/)

whenever i do this, the phone keeps spamming a popup where google play services were shutdown
Hi,
Just got my OnePlus 6 yesterday and I'm already having an issue with it. As of today, I cannot download or update apps from the Play Store. They are just perpetually stuck in the "Downloading" state (screenshot below). I'm also getting the "Google Play Services won't run unless you update Google Play Services" notification from time to time. I've cleared cache and data, reset app preferences, and manually downloaded the latest Google Play Services APK, but it's still having the same problem. I've read guides that suggest uninstalling Play Services updates, then updating it again, but it isn't showing up in the device administrators list so I can deactivate it before I do that.
My phone is rooted through Magisk and has the bootloader unlocked.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Update: Gmail is not showing new emails. Not sure if this is related or not.
Sounds like a factory reset is in order.

I believe u have to wipe in twrp and reflash.
Just do factory wipe in twrp. You should be fine then. If not, then follow link for better help https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/how-to/rom-stock-fastboot-roms-oneplus-6-t3796665

Did you download the correct version of Google Play Services since you manually downloaded it? I've seen this if you've installed the incorrect version of Google Play Services on the device.
Link to 12.8.74 (040400-204998136)
Link to 13.2.72 Beta (040400-206980955)
Uninstall or disable the google app.
That fixed it for me.
Let me know if that works.
I rooted my Pixel 2 following the guide on XDA Portal, by flashing the patched boot image to my device and now I get this alert from Google Play that 'Device is not Play Protect Certified' when using the Google Play Store. I have had this kind of issue previously, while rooting my Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X but I didn't encounter it on my marlin, then why on the walleye? Reading the alert states that Google services will be blocked. I followed the GSF-FW ID guide on XDA portal as well, unfortunately it didn't help. Anyway to fix this?
Device Name: Google Pixel 2 (walleye)
Android Version: 9.0
Status: Rooted
After rooting, you need to clear the cache of Google Play Store to be certified.
Did you try this?

Yes, I've done that. I've tried clearing app data, doing a dalvik wipe but nothing seems to help.
And did you hide Magisk for the Play Store?
Magisk > Magisk Hide > Tick "Google Play Store" THEN clear Play Store cache...

Pretty obviously, been doing that since Magisk ever came into existence! I've done Magisk Hide for GSF and Play Store as soon as I rooted:fingers-crossed:
Hi all
Download the GMS Installer and install the APK, open the app, and press One Touch Installation, your device will automatically reboot and automatically install Google Play Services in Huawei eRecovery.
After your device booting back into system, check in Apps if the Google Play Services installed correctly.
After that, you can download the rest from APKMirror : Google Account Manager, Google Calendar Sync, Google Contacts Sync, Google Play Store, and Google Services Framework. Keep in mind you should download version that fit to your android version.
You can even update the Google Play Services to the latest version using the apk's from APKMirror, don't worry it will works.
That's it!

Will this method help with any known issues? Like installing Netflix, copying Google account from phone to watch, etc
Or does it do the same thing thing as restoring Google apps from backup(with HiSuite and lzplay)?

No one has replied yet, who knows if it does! I don’t think it changes for Netflix!
I have included GMS through old method USB, i have no issue at all except the security (Netflix, Google pay...)
Any difference?
From other threads, this app just installs a messaging app, take a look here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=81568945&postcount=5
The 2 links are different, be careful, see pic below.
Even the GM's installer looks like it is just a cover for an app called com.tyq.pro. Please be careful, could do with someone who can analyse the files better than me to check. It just seems to be everywhere.

Can you send me the tutorial or link you have?
Guys, installing GMS one way or the other if using the proper files and not some dodgy messaging app will have the same end result. Our Mate 30 pro's are still flagged @ google as not being certified. At the end its the same old same GMS you install. I would be extremely carefully with what you download/install on your phones...We still don't know which "backdoors" if any are being installed with the so called restore hack.
Didn't fix any of the problems.

Hello everyone,
A few months ago, I used this awesome guide to get my device rooted. Now I would like to use Google Wallet but it detects root even after adding every google service to my denylist.
I found this guide : https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/magisk-google-wallet-pay-with-magisk.4471279/ that tells me to change my device fingerprint but One Plus Nord 2T is not in the device list I was wondering if you think it's unsafe to use the fingerprint of One Plus Nord 2 device instead ? Will this break my device for some reason ?
Thanks for you help

Doesn't work. He needs the modded version by Displax which can be found on his GitHub Here
In magisk you need to go to magisk settings and enable zygisk and enforce deny list.
Then add play services, play store and wallet/gpay to deny list.
Then delete app data for play store, play services and wallet/gpay. Everything should work perfectly then

It doesn't? That's strange because this is the method I use personally and it works no problems
I managed to make it work. Here is what worked for me :
1. Install this release : https://github.com/Displax/safetynet-fix/releases/tag/v2.3.1-MOD_2.0 (be careful the link in the README.md is not correctly updated)
2. Add to deny list : Google Play Services, Google Wallet/Pay, Google Play Store
3. Remove data and cache for : Google Play Services, Google Wallet/Pay, Google Play Store
4. Reboot
5. (Again) Remove data and cache for : Google Play Services, Google Wallet/Pay, Google Play Store
Then when opening Google Wallet should work fine.
Thank you again for your help @garylawwd !!
