Is there any update on the 'disable nav bar' on oreo, is there anyway?
And if not, is there anyway to rollback to Nougat without losing data?

I have gotten sucked into Gesture Navigation - I find I dont need the navigation bar no more so I hide it (manually) to release more screen.
Do you know of a way to boot up with the nav bar hidden ?

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
Add a line to the build.prop that says:
qemu.hw.mainkeys=1
Reboot. No more navbar.
Status bar stays in all immersive apps...bug or do I need factory reset?
Hi All,
Oreo just installed automatically on my Samsung S8 and I truly hate the look of the new navigation bar
Also, it will remain steadily on, even though I have "Show and hide button" enabled in settings.
Does anyone know how to revert into the old Navigation bar looks?
Thanks!
What carrier do you have

Orange - can a carrier have an impact?
What was Google thinking when it removed that option to hide the status bar via adb?
Currently, I have all the icons in the status bar disabled to prevent burn in, but a more efficient approach would be to hide the status bar so the apps can also use the full height of the screen. That would be really cool. Is it possible OOS 11? Is there some module or something?
