OOS 11 hide status bar? - OnePlus 8T Questions & Answers

Currently, I have all the icons in the status bar disabled to prevent burn in, but a more efficient approach would be to hide the status bar so the apps can also use the full height of the screen. That would be really cool. Is it possible OOS 11? Is there some module or something?

Date in status bar?

Is this not a thing in this OS or am I not finding the setting? You have to scroll down to see the current date and doesn't sticky on the bar.
I don't believe it's possible without modifications.
Nevertheless you can achieve this with gravitybox (root/ magisk and xposed needed).
you need xposed and flat style bar indicator pro, i don't know if gravity box can activate the date in statusbar
Edit: it can, but disappear after a while or reboot, don't know why
Or substratum theme. On OP5 i successfully used K-Manager (which dynamically generates substratum themes) to display date in status bar but I'm unable to make it work on OP6.

There's no room for it in the bar it would take up a whole section
It works with xposed and gravitybox.
Forgot to post the screenshot
PS: LOL. You cannot take a screenhot of the notch. On screenshot it shows a continuous status bar.

Enabling true full screen (Immersive mode).

I believe that the status bar should be hidden and that screen real estate can be used for apps like Twitter and Instagram, while scrolling, for optimum utilization, only thing is Oxygen OS (latest build) puts a black bar after measures are taken to hide status bar. I tried using ADB commands and apps such as Fullscrn and GMD, however the status bar is then replaced with a black bar, and the app is unable to claim that space. I want the status bar to be hidden (accessible only with swipe down) and the apps to take that space besides the notch. How would I go about doing that:fingers-crossed:?

Change navbar & statusbar icons ?

Hi everyone
I just received my new OP 6 and it's an amazing phone but there is any way to customize the status bar and navbar ? I mean I had the OP 3T and with Substratum and Ozone there was many possibilities to change them. But I haven't find the same module for the OP 6.
Any suggestions ?

Can I somehow hide status bar when opening an app?

I want to go full screen when open an app. I already hide the navigation bar at the bottom, I want to hide the status bar at the top as well, without installing third-party apps? Is it possible? (no root).
Thanks!

Try full screen display combine with full screen app.... Some app have settings to completely hide the status bar... Some just make it transparent....
