How To Open Recovery On 10.or Device|All 10.or Devices|Guide - General Topics

Hi FriendsIn this post i will tell how you can open recovery mode in all 10.or Devices. I have 2 methods to do this.
So Let's get start
Method 1 - Using Pc
Requirements - 1 Usb Cable and PC
First You Need To Install Adb Drivers On your PC and Download Platform Tools zip file for Windows PC by Clicking This Linkhttps://developer.android.com/studio/releases/platform-tools.html. Now Extract File and Open platform tools Folder and Press Shift Key then Right Click. Now You Will See Open PowerShell window here, Click It.
Open Your Phones settings and go to about Phone. Click Build Number 7 and more Times it will Open Developer Option. Now open Developer Option And turn On Usb Debugging.
After Opening enabling Debugging Connect your Phone Using Usb Cable.
Now Run Commands
"Adb Devices"
Your Device Prompt For Debugging. Grant It.
If Your Device Appear In PC Run Next Command
"Adb reboot recovery"
Now your phone automatically boot into recovery mode.
Method 2 - Without PC
Requirements - Only Your Device
Simply Turn Off Your Device. After Turn Off your device Press Volume Up key Then Power On Key. After Vibration release all keys.
It will boot Recovery Mode
Now You Can Wipe, Install Update, and Unlock Bootloader of your 10.or Devices.
This Is A Hint To Increase Development Support For This Devices. So Developers Try To Unlock Bootloader And Start Making Roms and recovery etc. After Any Rom or recovery Roll Out for this device I will Root My Device and Just Install It on my device.
Thanks

try clearing cache files from recovery...
also what were you trying to do when u messed up your phone?
if clearing cache doesn't work i think that u will have to flash stock rom.

Hi guys, I'm having some troubles to put my device in flashmode. I'd like to root it and then install a custom recovery but when turn on my device (to go in recovery by using power button + volume down) in screen appears only 3 choices and not four, I mean there's not the USB icon so I cannot put it in flashmode..any advice or suggestion? I'm on 4.2 stock and I've already installed ADB drivers and adb flash tool by following it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2094746 . Please reply as soon as possible
Fastboot mode is enabled already when you see the bootloader menu since 4.2 - no need to select anything.
I had the same question. When you see those 3 options it's in fastboot mode

Phone not booting after oem lock

I flashed stock fastboot rom (YU OS) and it booted. After that, I did "fastboot oem lock" and phone not booting. fastboot not allowing me to flash another rom too.
I googled about this and it says I need to enabled USB debugging from dev tools. But since phone not booting, I am not able to do this.
Can anyone help please?

[GUIDE] How to Unlock Bootloader and Install TWRP

First, you’ll need ADB and fastboot, which can be downloaded here. To set up ADB, go to Settings/About Phone/Software Info and tap on build number until you get a toast notification saying “You are now a developer!” You will now have a new category in Settings called Developer Options. Go into developer options and enable USB debugging and OEM Unlock. You won't be able to turn it on if your phone is plugged in to your PC. Once you've turned it on, go to your PC, open Terminal or Command Prompt and type “adb devices”. Then plug in your phone and hit enter. You'll get a prompt on your phone to “Allow connections to this PC?”. Check Always allow and Allow. Now run “adb devices” again. Your device should now appear in Terminal.
If you have a SD card, download the latest zips from here and here onto your SD card. It'll save you a step later on.
Then you'll need to reboot to fastboot by holding down VOL- and plugging in USB while power is off. Alternatively, you can type “adb reboot bootloader” in Terminal or Command Prompt.
Next, you'll need to unlock the bootloader. Bootloader unlocking will factory reset your phone! Once you're in fastboot, run “fastboot oem unlock” in Terminal or Command Prompt. Now the bootloader is unlocked.
Now it's time to flash TWRP, a custom recovery for Android. It's going to be the way you install custom ROMs and add-ons. Download Official TWRP here. Once you've extracted the recovery.zip, run this command: “fastboot flash recovery path/to/recovery.img”. Once the file has flashed, disconnect the USB cable and battery. The next step is important! You're going to need to boot into TWRP for the first time. With the phone off, hold down VOL- and press power until the phone vibrates and the LG logo appears. While still holding down VOL-, release and immediately press and hold power. You should now be at a white screen that says “Reset all data and restore to factory settings?” Use the volume and power keys to select yes and yes again. If you've installed TWRP successfully, it won't actually factory reset your phone. Now you should see the TWRP screen. If you don't see the TWRP screen and instead see a floating ring that says “Erasing”, don't worry. Let if complete and try flashing TWRP in fastboot again.
In TWRP, you'll be greeted by a screen that says “Swipe to allow modifications?” Swipe it, then go to the Wipe tab. Go to Wipe, then Format Data, then type yes, then go to the Reboot tab and select Recovery to reboot into TWRP again. If you're prompted to install the TWRP app, don't bother.
Once you've rebooted into TWRP again, it's time to disable encryption and root the phone. Download the latest zips here and here. Skip downloading them if you already put them on your SD card earlier. On your PC, push the files to your phone using the command “adb push path/to/file.zip /sdcard/”. You can drag and drop the file into Terminal or Command Prompt to copy file path. Then go to the Install tab in TWRP and select the no-verity-opt-encrypt.zip, tap Add more zips, then add the root zip, then swipe to flash. Let the zips flash, then tap the Reboot System button when it's done. Your phone will take a little longer to boot and might reboot a couple times.
Once you're back in the OS, go through the setup wizard. Set up Magisk. If you stay on stock, you should install an app like Quick Reboot Pro from the Play Store to make it easier to reboot into recovery. Now reboot back into TWRP and go to the Backup tab. If you have a SD card, set it as the backup location. You can enable compression if you want. This will make a full system backup that you can restore from as long as you have TWRP. If the backup takes up too much space, you can put it in Google Drive or your PC later on.
You are now ready to install ROMs!
Thanks to @messi2050
My device will not start boot loader with command "adb reboot bootloader" or with the method of holding volume down and pugging it into the PC, it just restarts and boots like normal. i cannot even get to the stage to use the command "fastboot oem unlock"
I cant get it too boot into TWRP

Please explain more in detail so you can be helped better In what ways? What are you doing to get into bootloader mode? I've never had any issues on my T-Mobile Stylo 2 plus. Are you trying to get into bootloader using buttons manually or through twrp or adb?

You hold volume DOWN and power then soon as screen comes on and you see LG you let go of the power button and then immediately press power again and you never let off volume DOWN. That doesn't work?

Hey there, I've got the LG K530F, is there any chance of unlocking it? I looked up the LG developer website and it's not listed in there, filling that form will just lead to a popup regarding that. I thought about downgrading it back to MM (Android 6.0) using the K350F10d_00_02221.kdz firmware package aiming to be able to run fastboot oem unlock, but I'm afraid of getting it bricked. Anyone tried it? I recall doing something like that to unlock the LG Optimus L9, but that one was way older and had much weaker security measurements.
Can't get into Bootloader
Hi i have a LGL82VL and when trying to use adb reboot bootloader it just restarts, And when using Vol Down and Power it just comes to the factory reset page (Hard Reset)
Any ideas on how to get to the bootloader? i checked with fastboot devices while on the hard reset page and got nothing. Any Ideas?

Galaxy A51, Stock impossible to reboot into recovery?

My phone. - Galaxy A51, One UI Version is 4.1, Android version is 12, Product Name – SM-A515F.
Stock ROM up to date.
I can boot into download mode, +/- volume, connect to pc. Works just fine.
But + volume & power boots into safe mode; - volume & power boots into safe mode; +/- volume & power boots into safe mode; +/- volume only boots into safe mode. I have ran out of button sequences to try.
What is wrong with my phone, is it impossoble to boot into recovery mode on my model of phone. This is why I cannot install TWRP as when I install via Odin, it will not boot into recovery post installation.
I am stumped.
Hello!
What is about phone: is it bootlooping or is it in downloading mode?
Other question: from what source did you download the twrp.tar file?
You should be able to force a reboot to recovery using ADB. Enable developer options, then enable USB Debugging. Download the SDK Platform Tools and open a command line in the platform tools directory (where you find the fastboot, adb, etc programs)
First, type adb devices. ADB will then start the ADB daemon.
Next, connect your device via USB cable while unlocked. You should get a prompt on the device screen requesting USB debugging authorization. Go ahead and grant it.
Then, type adb devices again. If you authorized USB debugging correctly, you should see your device listed.
Now, type adb reboot recovery. Your device should reboot into TWRP.

Hi I am back in stock now, so no TWRP installed. Would this method boot you into Stock recovery?
Do I need to be in download mode or just normal mode when connecting the phone to the pc?
Hello, can you say what version of Android your phone on?
If it is on 12th, then I would say, that the problem is, that this version may not fully supported for TWRP working
Because as I tried, there was a fail in the procces.
Sorry, i did not see that you have already written about it
Yep, think I will have to download Android 10 stock rom; and hopefully be able to install 10 via Odin from 12 back to 10.

ADB commands must be issued in system. The alternative would be from fastboot but it doesn't seem you can access that.
Try flashing TWRP again, but immediately hold Volume Up during boot to force booting into TWRP. Newer Samsung firmware does seem to have some sort of security measure that will replace a custom recovery, so you'll have to flash the Multidisabler to disable stock recovery auto-restoration.

I do not want to mislead you, but you will not be able to roll back from Android 12 to Android 10, because the current binary version of your phone (5) cannot be changed to lower one (4).
Maximum as you can do, is to downgrade to the 11th version and there, as I think and tried, the Twrp+vbmeta_A11.tar recovery file will be flashed sucessfuly and you will be able to enter TWRP without issues like bootloop.
Other problems are, as I think, that you may forgot to enable USB Debugging on your phone and authorize it with your computer, you may forgot to set the default USB Configuration as data transfer (MTP), or even you may not unlocked the bootloader.
I think they are the reasons because of which you could not enter TWRP, because, as I have tried to flash One UI 4.1 Android 12 according to this thread recently: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...ecovery-project-v3-6-2-android-11-12.4400869/
everything has been sucessful, both flashing and entering and following rebooting to Stock system.
Or you may even not removed the check mark from the parameter "Auto Reboot" in Odin
