I am extremely puzzled by the wy my headset started working in my phone. It is a Sony in-ear headset, very good sound, which still works, with a button, wired. Suddenly, the buttion stoped working with my phone.
The thing is, it works when my screen is on and it works in other devices (including iphones) even when the screen is off.
I got another headset just like mine, same model, and it worked!! With the scree off and everything.
So, my headset works perfectly in other devices, and other headsets (same model or different than mine) works with my phone perfectly. Why does MY headset doesnt work with MY phone when the screen is off????

Hello,
I am expiriencing little problem. Internal phone speaker seems to be not working. I mean speaker on LCD-side. Others (stereo speakers, logo-side speaker, headset) works normaly.
I have Universal branded by Fodafone so it's VPA4.
I have installed Beasty & Laurentius 2.09.01 BL+ ROM imidietly after reciving phone, so I can't tell if problem was present earlier.
I have searched thru forum, found some known stuck-jack-socket solution, but as far as the logo-side speaker works fine I pressume it's not my bug.
Is it possible, that i am expiriencing it because of:
a) ROM bug,
b) body-cover speakers wire,
c) pivot swich that tells which speaker to use (LCD changes between portrait and landscape but I dont know if there is a separate switch dedicated to speakers)
?
Any help will be great
Regards, woocky
One more thing: the speaker is working at all, but only in special circumstances.
So:
Phone closed, LCD facing keyboard - logo side speaker works.
Phone opened, LCD facing keyboard, pressed "speaker on" button displayed on LCD - lcd side speaker works.
Phone closed, logo facing keyboard, pressing "speaker on" doesnt make lcd side speaker to work.
Should it work then or am I just making noise?
After ROM changing to Ranju_v74_WM61_19199_19199_1_0_2 speaker started to work normaly.
I've got BT headset Nokia BH-214, described also in this forum, but not in Nexus part -> LINK.
I have problem, because the pause/play button doesn't work corectly. The phone reacts to this button press only time to time, eg. after a few presses. I checked logs, and I found, that there is no system reaction on this button. When phone reacts - system stops a2dp.
Here you are pastebin with logs.
The headset is fine, because I tested with Nokia phone. I found by Google, that this headset should work fully with Android. Could you advice me, what's is going on? How to fix it?
I have CM-7 RC1.
I see people had this problem for months with different Android phones, but I have to check to see if anything had changed with the Sensation... or is there an app to help... I can't believe nobody handled this serious issue.
When I pair my Sensation with the car audio system via the Bluetooth and answer the call by pressing the button on the wheel, the screen of the phone is unlocked. If I move even slightly, or the car hit a bump on the road, something is pressed and strange things happen. It sometimes ends the call, switch the speakerphone off etc. I need the screen to stay locked while using Bluetooth hands free.
Is there an application that helps in these situations?
Randomly, my phone started doing weird things when my headset is plugged in. It has never done this before. I have a feeling that this started when I Assigned Buttons that was meant for 3-buttoned headset on to mine with one button.
Every time I set it to control music playback, it randomly plays different music from my music app. And when I set it to control volume level, the volume goes crazy. But I tried headphones with no buttons at all and it doesn't do crazy things.
I have MIUI 11.0.5 and I've tried searching for this problem but I couldn't find a solution. Is there, like, a way to reset the settings for the assigned buttons?
Also, let me ask this, why doesn't my settings doesn't have options for one buttoned headset?

I had the same issue. Turned out it was the issue with the headphone buttons. I just claimed money for the headphones and got refunded in full. If your headphones have warranty, claim it. If not, then there is just one thing you can do, put feviquick on the heaphone button so it can't be pressed at all.
P.S: It might even make the headphones unusable. Proceed with caution.
I connect my Samsung Galaxy S-Tab 2 with one of my speakers (Inateck BP2001) and everything is fine.
but... When I connect the same tablet with e.g. Xtreme, I press play and once on some time I press pause, speaker is turning off. (Not always but is happen)
Why is that?
