Hello devs
I have a Samsung galaxy j7 prime g610f
Android 7.0
Samsung experience version 8.1
Baseband version G610FDDU1BQJ4
Build number NRD90M.G610FDDU1BQL9
It's a dual SIM phone with a dedicated sd card slot and a non removable battery. One slot is for a SIM card and another is for a SIM card an SD card. The issue is in the second slot. When I put a Sd card it works fine but when I put both the sd card and SIM card the SD Card is not detected. I don't know if it's a hardware issue or a software issue and that's what I'm here for.
Please provide a solution if any.
Thanks.

I have a dilemma that may be very easily rectified but it is beyond me and any help would be much appreciated. I recently purchased the 3C PRO 32GB Class 6 MicroSDHC Card from Amazon. I copied everything from my stock 2GB card that came with my Samsung Infuse 4G (Model: SGH-I997, Android Ver: 2.3.7, ROM: MIUI, Kernel: 2.6.35.7, Build: MIUI-1.10.28) to the new card. The problem I am having is that when my new 32GB card is in the computer it reads as a 32GB card but when it is installed in my phone it reads as only having a 13GB capacity. Is there something I am not doing on the phone to to enable the full capacity on the card? Thanks in advance for any and all help!
On MIUI and CM7.1, Internal user space is mounted to SDCARD. So, it is correctly reporting 13GB. I think it's going to eMMC folder.
Thank you ndy4eva! The memory that I thought I had lost is in fact present on the SD Card. I didn't find a file or folder named eMMC but I found what I was looking for in a folder on the SD Card called External SD Card. At least that is how it is labeled using the Root Explorer App. Thanks again, I would not have thought to look on the card itself.
I know that it's single sim but does it support sd card? I was going to purchase another L29 because I wanted the sd card slot but I honestly don't need dual sim capabilities. If the L09 can still use an SD card I'll just buy that.

Hi,
Of course it have. Single SIM and dual SIM model have 2 slots :
- SIM 1 + SD card for single SIM model
- SIM 1 + SIM 2 or SD card for dual SIM model
Nice to know. I guess I didn't have to pay extra for the L29 model afterall. Is there any other hardware difference between the two?
I came to find info on the step down vsn vs the step up.
Does the 128 have storage capacity to 384 (128+256)
Or did they follow the error in Huawei's mate 9 pro and put no sd card slot in the 128 GB vsn?
@#$%&!
And what about it in Europe?
Shame to even make a stepped down version. So now we always gotta ask which version...before installing a software.

I assume the 128GB version is the Taiwanese version which also support dual sims. In that case, the 2nd sim slot can be used for either a sim card or SD card. So if you are using 2 sim cards, then no SD card. But if you only use 1 sim card, you can add a SD card to expand its storage.
