Mi Note 3 Associated With Another Mi Account - Xiaomi Mi Note 3 Questions & Answers

Hi guys
Bought my phone at AliExpress with Global 9.1.4.0 installed
I was trying to install Xiaomi.eu ROM when I found out that my phone is associated with another Mi Account, presumably my seller's, so now I can't go on with installation.
Is there any way to solve this?

Return the phone if you can.

it basically means that your phone was unlocked by your seller, global rom installed and then shipped to you... theres no way to undo this at least to my knowledge...

Android pay not working on Xiaomi Mi Mix

Hi All,
Just bought a new mimix for use in the UK.
I've installed the app from Google play but when I go to use the app, I get this message:
"Android pay cannot be used on this device. This may be because your device is rooted, has an unlocked bootloader or is running a custom ROM. As a result, Google can't confirm that your device meets Android pays security standards"
The phone is completely standard and not rooted.
Is there a fix?
Appreciate any help!

Payments by phone

Hi guys.
Ive got mi mix2s with latest xiaomi.eu and cant pay by my phone (cant even configure my card in google pay as it says my phone cant be used for payments due to firmware modification etc.
Just to explain I have a clean installation of xiaomi.eu rom developer (always the latest)
My wife with her xiaomi mi mix 2 doesnt have that problem (also with the latest xiaomi.eu for her model).
What should i check/do to pay bu my phone? Thanks
Google has new bootloader unlock detection that seems to be affecting people almost at random. Currently there is no fix or workaround, so if it's important to you then flash back to official stock rom and lock bootloader again.

Debloat vs. Remove MIUI?

Hey all,
I am almost done with my waiting time for unlocking the bootloader. I am not sure if I should be flashing Xiaomi.eu or not. My aim from this is that I want to remove everything from MIUI that track and harvest data. I do not care if I continue to have MIUI or move to any other ROM.
Anyway, I noticed that my Mi 10 Ultra keeps running the following apps:
- Analytics.
- GetApps.
- Mi Browser.
- AI Call Assistant (what is that? Why do I need a call assitant?)
- NetworkLocation (What is that? Is it collecting any data?)
I have already stopped all the permission and uninstalled all the updates of those apps from the settings. They still manage to download themselves on my stock ROM and continue to function!
Anyway, I did not find any ROM to install other than Xiaomi.eu to be honest. But, it still has Analytics. But, they gave it a different name. The only good thing is that they claim that they have removed all bloats and they decreased the data collection to its minimum.
Moving on, I have tried ([ADB DEBLOAT] MIUI 12.0.8 List). I did not filter ones I want to remove. I just removed everything mentioned. My phone showed a loading screen which says Just a Sec. I waited for a while and then restarted the phone because, it did not move anywhere from there. So, I have decided to restart and... My phone was locked. It was locked for a day and then I was able to unlock it after I did a hard reset.
I do not want to go through that again. So, I am waiting for my bootloader to unlock before doing anything to my device.
So, here are my questions:
1- Is there no Custom Rom that is compatible with Mi 10 Ultra other than Xiaomi.eu? What are my options here?
2- If I installed Xiaomi.eu. What are things that I should be removing? And do I have to sign in to Mi account again after unlocking the bootloader?
Thanks in advance,

I think currently there are no custom ROM for Mi 10 Ultra yet, only official china rom and EU rom atm.
I am running the 20.9.24 weekly EU rom currently, the rom removed almost all china exclusive app (mi wallet and etc). You probably do not need to remove anything. Yes, you need to login to MI account again.

Thank you. But, what if I did not login to Mi Account again?

It'll be fine. You can choose NOT to login to Mi Account after installing EU ROM.

xiaomi mi max 3: rooting

hi - i am about to considering buying a xiaomi mi max 3 chinese seller via ebay, hope it is ok to ask the following questions:
1) is it possible to root the global version? (i see threads on converting the chinese version to global but i want to avoid this extra work)
2) do i need to get the bootloader code from xiaomi for global phone or can i root without it?
3) if so how long does it take to get it from xiaomi?
4) once rooted, can i return to unrooted afterwards?
5) i have no experience rooting, will rooting be undone if phone is automatically updated via xiaomi?
5) once unrooted, are any changes made to the phone (in my case deleting a specfic option on the SETTINGS menu) changed back with xiaomi auto update?
6) the reason i want to buy from ebay is i can return less hassle if seller gives me chinese version claiming it is global, does anyone gave experience buying global version elsewhere?
excuse the questions i've never rooted before, but now i find the need to do it because i have a huawei mate 20 x which doesnt allow me to root because bootloader is locked
really appreciate any help on this, i am so desperate to find a solution to my original problem i am considering buying apple(!) to avoid all above...i've spent sevral hours trying to find answers to above so any help appreciated!

Problem with strange error in redmi note 6 pro

Hi! I have a strange problem. I recovered a cell phone (redmi note 6 pro) from a deceased relative, his closest people gave it to me. the problem is that I want to install Xiaomi.eu, but I am seeing strange things. First of all, the bootloader is unlocked. Second, I suspect that it has some type of bypass or something like that (I don't know much about the subject, I just change rom) I cannot start or create an account in My community. My fear is that when flashing the xiaomi.eu rom, the phone would be blocked with my account or something, and I would have several problems because I could not access the email or account of the previous owner and there is also the possibility that it is not even the account of the previous owner who would request in the blockade. thanks for reading, sorry for my bad english.
update: I was able to create an account from my google account. I don't know if it is safe to proceed
Update 2: (I wait for the last one) I already linked my phone number, google and facebook account to my account. everything seems to work, the My community app lets me in normally. Is it safe to proceed?
You can install a custom recovery as your phone is already unlocked. Then try to flash a Xiaomi EU rom, download that form a good website. You can get help by searching in YouTube or google. But careful please, don't get your phone bricked.
