I've got a SM-G950F (S8) with LUX CSC, could I flash it without any risk ? And without lose data ?

is possible from latest AQK7 itv or we need AQL5 to flash this?

I am on latest AQK7, should we clear the cache after flash, or flashing with no wipe is enough to avoid any issue.

[G930F] No photo or fingerprint alter downgrade

Hi everybody,
I've received my new phone, an international samsung galaxy S7. At his first boot, my phone was in nougat version but i need to have xposed and get back to android MM.
To do that, i got superman rom 1.2 and flash it like always. The rom booted without probleme expect fingerprint and rear camera that doesn't want to work ...
So i've tried superstock and phoenix rom and still same problem.
Last try, i've flashed the last french officiel (XEF) Samsung MM Android and still this f***ing problem.
No problem on stock and superman rom in nougat
Is samsung blocking downgrade ?
Thanks for your answers

Thanks for the link !
I've unzipped the firmware and flash the 4 files (AP,BL,CP,CPC) with the latest Odin, no PIT file, and in options, Auto Reboot and F.Reset.Time.
I'm a pretty good user of android, never had a problem on my S4 (jflte(xx)).
Is there something new like security to block Downgrade ? Because official and custom Rom do the same error ...
thanks dude for answering me !

Hi
No problem.
Mate i have the feeling the issue is with the bootloader , maybe is still on N , use an app like phoneinfo and check what bootloader you have and see if it is a N or a MM bootloader
finger print and camera were working in N right?
Check this thread , some people had issue downgrading , check post 12 and 22 ( better read all thread)

Hi
The update bootloader option is not really use , myself never used but it was worth trying as to me the cases are similar, it should had work without that option , you also say bootloader is the correct one.
After flashing MM did you try to factory reset / wipe cache? do it without restoring anything and see if it work

Here u go guys,
The Ofiicial Oreo firmware R16NWG935FXXU2ERD5
- Its a TWRP Backup
- Contains UNTOUCHED System,Baseband and boot image.
Steps:
- Extract zip to your External SD
- Reboot to TWRP
- Wipe system, data, internal sd etc etc (what you do usually when flashing a rom)
- Restore> R16NWG935FXXU2ERD5
- Flash no verity zip
- Flash Magisk
- Flash your Country CSC (Use S8 Port CSC for now)
-Reboot
Download link : https://mega.nz/#!URswBJ5A!ThOBn4u7dZYQGEo6BueKCtL-BS1gqzsLgMWlSaYrJ-c
This is only for people who dont want to wait for official OTA and for Devs who wants to make a ROM now
The official firmware might get uploaded on sammobile after 2-3 days
The backup is untouched so everything is present in this (bloat and useless apps too)
Debloat apps with titanium backup and report back if u face any issues.
Make sure to debloat SecuritylogAgent. It keeps bugging you that unauthorised actions have been detected and stuff lol
If your knox is intact or dont like dumps then follow Rifek's Guide

Your Warranty is void if you install TWRP once in your phone. Installing TWRP changes knox counter to 0x1.
It stays 0x1 even after flashing official firmware later. So dont install TWRP just for this update. Wait for official release!

If u flash Official Odin firmware and update to Oreo U cannot downgrade bootloader! So no more Nougat Firmware flashing.
Also you may not be able to flash your country official firmware via Odin (Bootloader Version Lock).

Kernel: 3.18.71
Build: OPR1.170623.032
Software version: V30a-EUR-XX
Changes:
- Android Oreo
Instructions:
Upgrade from Android 7 and root using TWRP and Magisk
Do backups! Expect to lose your apps and settings!
Get the required imgages:
H85030a_00_OPEN_EU_OP_0910.kdz from above --> store it on your HDD.
twrp-3.2.3-2-h850.img --> HDD
Magisk 17.1 ZIP file. Copy it to your G5's SD card.
the LG-H85030a-Flashable.COMPLETE.zip from above --> SD-Card.
Optional: You can additionally download the MD5 file which is being used by TWRP to verify the ZIP file (simply place it in the same folder like the ZIP).
As a safety measure, I'd clean upgrade with the stock KDZ first using LG UP. This will replace also recovery to stock. If successful, you can continue.
Unlock the bootloader (if not already unlocked) as described here with the official bootloader unlock and flash TWRP. TWRP 3.2.3-2 worked for me. Boot into TWRP as described.
Optional: Do a backup in TWRP.
Format Data: "Wipe" > "Format Data" > type "yes". Wipe slider wipe is not enough!
Go back until you see the TWRP main screen. Then Reboot into Recovery. Don't start into System!
Flash / Install the LG-H85030a-Flashable.COMPLETE.zip and Magisk-v17.1.zip without reboot inbetween.
Reboot to System
enjoy!
To build the ZIPs I used parts of autoprime's previous files. Thx again!
Disclaimer: This is not an official post by LG to update the firmware! Don't blame me if you destroy your phone. If you use these files and instructions you do it at your own risk!

Just curious if above should be in the OP as they are Nougat files unless I'm mistaken.
I've had it with these stock firmware files and images, I'm waiting until a debloated stable custom rom hits. The KDZ hung on boot even after factory resetting and this stock rom wipes twrp every time I reboot causing me to endlessly reflash twrp.

Ok, just for information (and it may be useful to others with the same scenario):
I'm on lineage Oreo, with magisk and twrp 3.2.3.2, can I flash the COMPLETE zip => then twrp => then magisk and get the rom installed keeping twrp and root? I can't access any Windows machine (only Mac) to flash the kdz file, would it work as well if i flash all that stuff in twrp?
Thanks!

I'd give a try but don't blame me if it is not working. Flashing the KDZ was a safety measure to me as I was not entirely sure if flashing COMPLETE alone is enough. But you are already running an Oreo OS, so I'd try it. As long as you have access to TWRP or Bootloader you can flash your working Lineage image and TWRP. However, flashing TWRP after COMPLETE makes no sense in my eyes as COMPLETE does not contain stock recovery.

One got no bloatware and one came with Vodafone and Orange app
The one without bloatware has the Software Version: V30a-EUR-XX
and the one with bloatware has the Software Version: V30a-214-07
I used the same files for flashing
But the bad thing is on both phones the light doesn't work?!
Someone with the same issue?

Hello
You cannot go from V3 boot loader (Oreo) to V2 boot loader (Nougat). Did you have stock Oreo installed?

You have to flash the correct firmware for your country. What country are you in?

Ok, LiteRom is Nougat 7
Option 1
Flash TWRP via Odin then flash LiteRom or any Nougat Rom
Option 2 (Easy)
Place phone in download mode (home+volume down+power) then flash Stock Nougat (via Odin) for your country Slovakia (TMS) from www.sammobile.com

No, i have LiteRom v. Oreo.
I have latest TWRP of course too.
Bootloader apparently prevents downgrade via Odin, but you can still downgrade via TWRP. You need to flash a custom nougat ROM that includes an older bootloader version.
Odin 3.13. and latest Nougat ROM available for your phone.
Did downgrade without any issues.

I tried flash Stock Rom via Odin-->Failed.
I tried flash several Nougat Rom via TWRP, but after Rom boot i got No Service (no signal).
After have i tried flash latest Nougat BL separately but i got error: sv rev. check fail (bootloader) device:3, binary:2 in download mode.
Any ideas please?
You can't downgrade the bootloader.
Stock nougat on an Oreo bootloader will cause problems with wifi, data, and possibly lose the IMEI.

Samsung blocked bootloader downgrades a long time ago. I think it started with the S3.

omg, so it's ****ed up...
You may be able to run a custom nougat rom on the Oreo bootloader but not a completely stock nougat ROM.

It's not possible to flash the patch on its own in afraid. If you understand how they work it's then obvious why.
Do a backup, flash the new firmware or Rom with the security patch you want then restore the backup. The updated security patch is unaffected.
