I've my pixel 2 for about 3 months and one app consistently freezes and bugs out. Instagram. Is it just me? My friend that has a Samsung note does not have the issue. Do other pixel owners have this issue? I apologize if this is in the wrong place, I am new here.

I haven't had any issues with Instagram on my Pixel 2. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling, or clearing cache and data for the app?

Hello guys,
My gear 2 camera stuck on blurry and I can't do anything about it. I've tried so many ways changing Tizen versions, formatting and rooting the gear 2 ,,etc
None of them worked and its been almost 6 month my gear 2 camera are useless, Can anyone help me to fix this issue?
Is it related to hardware or its software?

It's a known issue so I was told camera gets stuck in macro mode, try doing a close up shot to confirm.
The focus mode is on Automatic but still working as micro mode!
So it means there is no solution?

Hi, I've been trying to get online with my switch using my Pixel 2 as a hotspot, but I keep getting a DNS error, saying the name could not be resolved. I didn't have this issue with my Nexus 5X when I had it, or when I use my girlfriend's Galaxy S6, so I'm thinking it's an issue with the Pixel 2 settings.
Has anyone had this issue and been able to fix it? Thanks in advance!

Could this be caused by the network you are attached to? I was running into problems with different ports being closed and ended up running things through a VPN to open them up.

It's the same phone network as the Nexus 5X, same Sim card and everything. I'll give it a try though!
Hey everyone tried to find a thread in regards to some bugs people may have experienced. Thought I would make a thread so we can just discuss some of them and find out who else had experienced them.
Some that I have seen:
- network disappeared completely but it was fixed by a restart and has only happened twice since the day of launch.
- hotspot disconnects all devices for a quick second (only happened once)
- spotify just froze and screen went black
I know these are all just software glitches and non related to hardware, so just wanted to hear what other things others may experienced.

If there is a light in the photos you get the lens flare effect on it. This happened with the original Pixel before Google tried to remove it with software. You see the effect here..

Hi, I have a problem with my Pixel, I want to know if this is normal or if anyone else has the same problem.
When I play video on this phone (no matter what app) it stutters the first 1 or 2 seconds of the video and then plays normally.
I encounter this problem in every app. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Google Photos, Snapchat, etc.
It's no big deal but it becomes specially irritating when viewing Instagram Stories or Facebook short videos, because it stutters and won't play normally and I can't really see what's going on in the video.
It is just a playback issue, because the videos recorded by the Pixel play perfectly on other devices.
I have tried factory image flashing, I've tried Oreo 8.0, 8.1 and even 9.0 Pie and nothing seems to work.
Some time ago I've unlocked the bootloader and flashed custom ROMs and the problem wasn't present on those. But I like this Google ROM more than those.
This is so annoying, I've had like 3 Android phones in my life and they all have had similar problems. I don't want to switch to an iPhone again!
Can somebody help me out?

I think it's not an issue on XL devices, but I'm starting to believe it's a common issue on normal Pixels
I don't have another Pixel to test. Do you? I would like to know how much of a problem this is.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, that's what I said, I don't think this is an issue on XL devices, but I think it is a common one on normal Pixel 2s.
I just noticed this stutter isn't present when media volume is all the way down. So annoying.
I have been using this phone for the past 3 weeks and I have received not less than 15 Whatsapp ban . I am using the official whatsapp. This issue started since I started using the Xiaomi mix fold 2. Anyone else experiencing this ? And my contacts name not showing in Whatsapp as well.

What can be wrong then
I use whatsapp as my default texting app and havent had any issues with bans. I did temporarily have an issue where the contact names wouldnt show but it turned out my whatsapp was just out of date and it returned to normal after updating.

I had the same problem once and I had to wait for 6 ours before be able to use Whatsaap again. I am using whatsapp on another phone now as I need it for work! Very bad
