Question Whatsapp temporary ban issue - Xiaomi Mix Fold 2

I have been using this phone for the past 3 weeks and I have received not less than 15 Whatsapp ban . I am using the official whatsapp. This issue started since I started using the Xiaomi mix fold 2. Anyone else experiencing this ? And my contacts name not showing in Whatsapp as well.

Nope. Using Whatsapp every day with no issues.

What can be wrong then

I use whatsapp as my default texting app and havent had any issues with bans. I did temporarily have an issue where the contact names wouldnt show but it turned out my whatsapp was just out of date and it returned to normal after updating.

I had the same problem once and I had to wait for 6 ours before be able to use Whatsaap again. I am using whatsapp on another phone now as I need it for work! Very bad

WhatsApp incompatible with Pico (Dated 20th Dec 13)

I am using Pico since Jan 2013 and had some issues with WhatsApp crashes and restarts.
I have been chasing WhatsApp guys and HTC guys for the issue of failing WhatsApp for HTC Pico due to issues of group posts.
And few mails came to know that WhatsApp is say problem lies with the Devanagari Scripts with the Phone same thing I have informed to HTC,
But I really hope no solution from them.
Well this shocking news comes officially from Play-store, that it has been ruled out for my tiny Little Pico.
This is surprising because only 3 days ago I have reinstalled application from Store.
This is kinda disappointing how Low range Android users are treated.
Has anybody got similar experience?

Twitter Smart Extension

Hi guys, I just noticed that I've been logged out of this app and can't log back in despite my phone being logged in. I tried to log back in but it doesn't let me. I've also tried to to uninstall and reinstall both Smart Connect and the extension but same problem persists. Anyone experience the same problem?

Maybe Twitter needs you to authorize the app to log in on your behalf. I know it was using oauth since a while back.
Mine has been working fine since I logged in a month ago.

Yeah, I recall there was supposed to be a popup asking to authorize the extension... but it doesn't do that anymore.

Nope... apparently other SW2 Twitter users are having the same issue. I've already posted at the Sony Forums but they have yet to come up with a solution.

Twitter recently updated the API on their side and now the extension is out of date so won't work until sony updated
well at least thats what i think is causing the problem

A new update is out in the Play Store, this fixed my issue. Latest version is 1.2.1 :good:
Just installed the Twitter extension. Seems to work, though curious as to what it will be like from a Notifications POV. I used to be more acive on Twitter in the past, so I have lots of people and companies I follow. Interested to see if I end up greatly reducing that number, or removing altogether. But it is a nice looking extension.

I own the Galaxy S4 and running 4.3
I recently bought Sony Smartwatch 2 and downloaded twitter.
From the smart connect app on the phone, i am trying to login to smart extension for twitter. It takes me to login screen and after keying password, i then click on authorise app and after that, it just stays on "loading" for Ages and ages and nothing happens.
I have uninstalled and installed the app number of times but doesnt work
Has anyone had any issues?

Instagram

I've my pixel 2 for about 3 months and one app consistently freezes and bugs out. Instagram. Is it just me? My friend that has a Samsung note does not have the issue. Do other pixel owners have this issue? I apologize if this is in the wrong place, I am new here.

I haven't had any issues with Instagram on my Pixel 2. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling, or clearing cache and data for the app?

About performance issue

I recently bought Galaxy A8 (2018). When I turned it on there was a Update so I did it. But now I'm having some performance issue like snap chat and whatsapp are taking too long time to send message. In whatsapp even I'm in wifi signal it's just showing like loading when I press send for sending message. Do anyone have this problem?

Yes, I'm also facing same issue.
Phone stops responding. Seems like processes are not managed well. Also sometimes thick horizontal line appears on the screen while this is happening.
Yes, very annoying.
I really hope it will be fixed in a software update soon

LOL guys, it's not an update you are waiting... You have an isolated problem, it's not a rom issue but for sure an app/service issue because you have debloat or tweak something.
Reset untouched stock rom, test during one or two days, you will see if it's stable or if your problem is back

I had it twice yesterday. It happened only with the latest hot fix. No root no nothing, full stock.

Not at all! I have no root and fully stock and I got the same issue twice yesterday.
User app issue + hard reset is rarely the solution in my 10 years of Android experience.

I also faced this issue with the OnePlus Laucher app. My whole phone freezes and after a few seconds I see "OnePlus launcher stops working" I joined the beta a few months earlier. After leaving the beta for the app my phone stops freezing. Maybe you also have this same problem with the beta?
