Guys I clean flashed viper os 7.1.2 after lineageos 14 and now dont have 3g/4g. Calling and texting works fine.Apn is already set to what it needs to be, also set default network to lte only but still no help, it gives me sthis error after testing lte from that code to check phone status, PLEASE HELP ME, should I try installing another rom?

after rooting and installing eos 2 lost 3g
tried multipke valid sims that worked in the xoom prior, and also work in other devices
when doing a scan network it picks up all avail networks however it cannot attach.
status shows:
Network : vodafone
Signal Strength -77dBm 18 asu

Service Status: Out of service
Mobile network state: Disconnected
MDN: Unknown
IMEI: some numbers

tried returning to stock rom, no luck...

I just got a Network Extender (for business) which supposedly does not do data unlike the discontinued residential models. I got it because I was always dropping calls in my house (a mile across the Hudson river from NYC of all places).
When I've got LTE enabled (and the network extender), my phone is displaying 0 to 1 bars of service with the little 4G denotation. My signal information in the status menu says:
Network: Network Extender
Signal Strength: -109 dBm
Mobile Network Type: LTE:13
Disabling LTE (and/or data entirely), then shows 4 bars of signal with the little R denotation (for a Network Extender network) and the status menus says:
Network: Network Extender
Signal Strength -75 dBm
Mobile Network Type: CDMA - EvDo rev. A:6 (When LTE is disable but data in enabled)
So clearly when LTE is disabled my phone registers a much stronger signal. But do I need to disable LTE to get that better signal strength?
Or are the networks kept separate and even though my phone is only displaying the LTE signal strength, is it also connected to the cellular network at -75 dBm but I just can't see it. Should I still get dropped calls if I have LTE enabled (like I normally do)?

Hello, a few days ago I posted here asking for help with a problem my phone had but I resolved it and now my phone is back to normal but for some reason my phone won't connect to my mobile network as in the phone company I went to the status section in the settings of my phone and this is what is shows:
Network - Unknown
Signal strength - -98 dBm 1 asu
Mobile network type - CDMA - EvDo rev. A
Service state - In service
Roaming - Roaming
Mobile network state - Disconnected

From your dialer, dial the following...
##72786#
This will reprogram your device...should this not do the trick contact your service provider and talk technical support.
I dialed ##72786# and nothing happened
I am using cynogenmod 13 latest build all things working perfectly but I'm unable to change connection type to 3G or LTE if selected 2G I have to go to flight mode and then I can change the connection type to LTE only still can't change it to 3G. When it's selected LTE as default even that time also the data connection work still as 2G sign showing as E even if I select LTE never get the H/H sign on my service provider Vodafone India please help me... and sorry for my bad english.
I had a similar problem with CM 12.1, but I solved it changing the APN. My phone has 2 APN available, I just selected the one it wasn't using and I got 4G and 3G again after some minutes.

Try changing the APN as Secuential said. For Vodafone India, I think it says 'www'.
If that doesn't work, try manually changing it.
Enter *#*#4636#*#* in your dialer.
In the 'Testing' window that appears, go to Phone Information.
Scroll down to Set preferred network type: (The default is LTE/GSM auto (PRL))
Change it to WCDMA only.
It should show H sign after a while.
Good luck.
(Though, keeping WCDMA only can increase battery usage. Change it to 'WCDMA preferred' later)
By default the Network Mode is on LTE/WCDMA/GSM (Auto) mode but when I switch on mobile data, nothing shows up, no data connection. And sometimes even no voice service, it shows "emergency calls only".
But when I switch to GSM only mode, EDGE connection shows up (which is normal), Internet goes normal but very slow with EDGE connection (Sometime GPRS).
I tried to swap SIM with my friend, and their SIM works fine with my phone under LTE/WCDMA/GSM (Auto) mode and I do get HSPA and HSPA+ Signal. (Network provider setting changed to their network provider)
I contact my network provider and they said my SIM has no problem, they did insert my SIM into their device and found no problem with my SIM on their device, they get HSPA+ signal with my SIM. And they ask me to take my phone to check for hardware failure.
I checked the APNs and network provider setting, reset back to Stock ROM and clean install my ROM several times, still have no luck
My subscription do have HSPA connection and has been using it for months at the same location, but now it just stay at EDGE and GPRS only.
Is that really a hardware problem? Or could it be SIM problem?

I have exactly the same problem! Same ROM as well. Update to various CM13 releases, factory reset to stock kernel and rom but nothing helps.
