HELP!! 3G Mobile Data not working. Somebody please help.. - Samsung Galaxy Ace 3

By default the Network Mode is on LTE/WCDMA/GSM (Auto) mode but when I switch on mobile data, nothing shows up, no data connection. And sometimes even no voice service, it shows "emergency calls only".
But when I switch to GSM only mode, EDGE connection shows up (which is normal), Internet goes normal but very slow with EDGE connection (Sometime GPRS).
I tried to swap SIM with my friend, and their SIM works fine with my phone under LTE/WCDMA/GSM (Auto) mode and I do get HSPA and HSPA+ Signal. (Network provider setting changed to their network provider)
I contact my network provider and they said my SIM has no problem, they did insert my SIM into their device and found no problem with my SIM on their device, they get HSPA+ signal with my SIM. And they ask me to take my phone to check for hardware failure.
I checked the APNs and network provider setting, reset back to Stock ROM and clean install my ROM several times, still have no luck
My subscription do have HSPA connection and has been using it for months at the same location, but now it just stay at EDGE and GPRS only.
Is that really a hardware problem? Or could it be SIM problem?
Device Info:
Device: Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 LTE (S7275R)
ROM: CM13-20160315build
Recovery: TWRP 3.0.0.0

I have exactly the same problem! Same ROM as well. Update to various CM13 releases, factory reset to stock kernel and rom but nothing helps.

No LTE with sultanxda's CM11

I borrowed the SIM card out of my AT&T 4G/LTE hotspot to see if I could turn my old phone into a hotspot. However, while it does connect to the network, it will only run in HSPA mode. I briefly got it to use LTE for about an hour, but the ROM was still randomly rebooting then, and I lost it on reboot. I did put the SIM back in the hotspot, and it does get 4g/LTE on that device, so it's not the SIM card or the service as near as I can tell.
I did try to use the *#*#4636#*#* menu, but it instantly reverts back to WCDMA preferred if I select anything other than unknown. The same happens if I attempt to switch to LTE in the mobile networks menu. I also tried setting the APN to AT&T Broadband (the APN used by the hotspot) as well as AT&T LTE. I found an older thread related to this, but there didn't seem to be a conclusion.
The only caveat here is that the SIM is only authorized for data, not voice or SMS.
Any ideas?

Not automatically registering on network (CM 12.1) (VirginMobile UK)

Hi, I'm on CM 12.1 and my OPO won't register on networks at boot (I'm on Virgin UK). I have to manually go to Mobile Networks > Network Operators and select EE (which is a network Virgin uses). After that everything works fine, I have network and data. But if I connect to WiFi, data will be lost when I disconnect and won't come back unless I manually register to the network again. Also, network will drop much more often since I only use EE and the phone won't automatically connect to other networks. If I go to Mobile Networks > Network Operators > Choose Automatically the phone disconnects from network and I get "Emergency Calls Only".
NOTE: The SIM works in another phone without problem. However, my other SIM works perfectly fine in my OPO.
CONCLUSION: My guess is that the settings for the Virgin SIM failed to download correctly. I had to manually add the Virgin APN to use data (which I usually don't have to).
QUESTIONS: Is there a way to reset the SIM settings stored on the phone without factory resetting? I might be wrong, any other ideas on how to solve my problem?
Thanks, Dan

Please help! No 3G or GSM, can't call, but LTE works fine.

I really need help with my device, I searched all over XDA and no-one seems to have the same issue as me.
Here is some information:
1) Nexus 6P (H1511)
2) 6.0.1 Absolute stock, no rom, no root, no custom recovery. Build number MMB29P.
Recently got a new Nexus 6P and imported to Russia. All of the major bands here are supported. And the phone worked excellent for a few weeks, but then it lost all 3G or GSM connectivity. Just randomly, didn't do anything with it, the only thing I did is move to another city but than I got back, the issue didn't resolve. LTE works perfectly but can't call or receive calls, can receive sms though. Reseting network settings and factory reset changed nothing. Tried manualy set network to WCDMA or GSM with *#*#4636#*#* command, the moment I switch to anything besides LTE the connection is lost. Contacted the provider, no problem on their side, my SIM works good in other phones, my phone with other SIMs - no.
I don't think it is a hardware issue because a few times I managed to get everything working after an hour of switching networks and bands with no particular order in the *#*#4636#*#* testing mode.
After a while I figured that if I set phone to "GSM only" on USA bands in testing mode, but at the same time set it to "LTE prefered" in the normal network settings menu. I am able to set phone to Band mode 7 and set the network back to 2G in network settings keeping it on " GSM only" the whole time and only after this compicated algorithm and after a reboot 2G and 3G starts working. But any reboot after that revertes everything back to only LTE stage. Also if I get everything working but than reset network settings everything stops working again.
I have no idea what caused such an issue, I really hope someone can help.
Sorry couldn't post screenshots because of the "10 posts rule".

Galaxy S6 Duos Network Issue

I need to solve an issue pertaining to my Galaxy s6 duos. The problem is that sometimes my phone's sim 2 wont work, although it is registered on the network but it won't make a call or send a message neither would it receive a call or message. After i put the phone in airplane mode and switch it back online, then the sim2 starts working. Please help me in solving this issue. What could be causing this problem?
Hmmm set sim 2 only to 2G network and check if it losse connection... (I suspect when phone leaves a 4g area and it has to connect to 3g sometimes stuck at searching ...)
I have an issue that whenever i use mobile data on sim 2 it connects to 2g. I need all the time to go and change from 3g/2g to only 3g then back again to get 3g working. Also noticed that if 3g is not in range it switches to 2g but when its in range it does not automatically take 3g.

Can't connect to LTE

About a month or so ago, I went on vacation to Asia with my S7. I had it on airplane mode pretty much the whole trip but turned wifi on when available.
Since coming back, my S7 stopped being able to get on to the LTE network. It stays at 4G, which is HSPA speeds on my network. There is discussion about 4G and LTE being the same, but I'm experiencing much slower speeds...5-6Mbps compared to 25-30 when my phone showed LTE.
It's definitely my phone as I put my SIM in another S7 of the same network, and that phone went to LTE. Their SIM in my phone stayed at 4G.
I've tried various APN settings, made sure GSM/HSPA/LTE was selected, reset the network settings, tried some apps that said it would force LTE...but nothing is working.
When the app does force LTE it says I am in Roaming mode. I checked the CSC and it does show my correct network carrier code.
What can I do here?
Have you manually selected and registered with your carrier's network from the network settings?
Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Network Operators > Search Networks
Cleared cache from recovery?
Called your carrier?
Factory reset the phone
