About:
Helix Engine is a tool to help improve the efficiency of your device.
With the use of the Accessibility Service, Helix Engine is able to dynamically switch between different performance profiles automatically without any user interaction. With App Engine, users can configure what app they want to set for which profile, this will be used for the Accessibility Service to determine what profile to switch to when that particular app is detected as currently in use. Users are also able to configure each profile to their liking.
Helix Engine supports all ARM/ARM64 SoCs, from Android Nougat and above. It is recommended that you do not use any other tools that may modify any of the components in the profile customisation page to prevent any conflicts with this tool.

Requirements:
- Root (I think this is obvious but just in case it's not...)
- An ARM (32-bit ARMv7) or ARM64 (64-bit ARMv8) SoC
- Android 7.0 or above
- No other modifications which may tweak kernel tunables automatically (e.g. Advanced Kernel Tweaks, LSpeed, HEBF etc.)

Features:
- App Engine
Battery: Low-performance mode to save power on apps that don't need that much power (e.g. Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, Reddit, apps that are generally for browsing)
Balanced : The default profile for all apps and newly installed apps. Apps that you think requires a decent amount of power, but not as much as the power intensive applications suitable for performance profile.
Performance : High-performance mode to enable buttery smooth gaming, as well as exceptional benchmark performance (if you are into that sort of thing). Also useful for very power intensive tasks like backup managers, file explorers (when transferring large files), media editing tools, camera apps, launchers (for fast app launches) etc.
Whitelist : Helix Engine will detect these apps and will avoid applying any profile when they are in use. Useful for apps such as keyboards when they become the top-app when the keyboard appears on the screen, avoids unecessary profile switching.
The engine detects which app is currently in use (in the top-app group), and will apply the profile's configuration according to the profile you've set the app to automatically. For example, the battery profile's configuration is applied when an application that has been set to the battery profile has been detected as currently running. Apps set to balanced will apply the balanced profile's configuration. Apps set to performance will apply the performance profile's configuration. Apps set to whitelist will be ignored (i.e. no profile changes from the previous profile that was applied when the whitelisted app is in the top-app group).
Multi select feature: Check the boxes by pressing on the checkbox or the card of each app to select them, a FAB will appear which will allow you to batch set a profile to the selected apps.
Auto Whitelist: (Some apps will not show in the App Engine page, as they are auto-whitelisted to prevent Helix Engine from unnecessarily switch profiles)
- Profile Customization
Users can also configure each profile configuration to their personal preferences. Each configuration should be unique to its own profile.
- Auto Mode (Experimental)
Helix Engine will automatically adjust profile values per-app to attempt to achieve the target jank percentage.
- Backup and restore configs:
Save your App Engine and Profiles configurations and restore them at any time with ease.[/U][/B]
- View system apps
Allows you to change profiles for system apps (if disabled, all system apps will use balanced by default).
- Search function in App Lists
Search through app lists using the search button in the action bar.
- Dark theme

Helix Engine Add-on
Additionally, I created an add-on, which is a flashable Magisk module. This add-on will run some further tweaks, which are not covered by HelixEngine itself (yet). I'll attach it here.
You want to know what it does exactly? Have a look here: Github
Supported chipsets so far
Snapdragon 835
Snapdragon 820
Snapdragon 810
Snapdragon 808
to be continued...

Awesome! I've been waiting for this! Was following the progress closely on GitHub. Nice to see this here officially!

That's one hell of a long OP. ?
Well done tho mate, can see a lotta work went into it.

It might just be me but I am seeing a more stuttering after flashing this engine .

Depends on what app you use, for battery apps, it may feel slower than normal (to prevent these battery apps from draining unnecessary amount of power). However, games and using the launcher should have no problems as it'll execute the performance profile. If battery profile is too slow for you, I'll discuss it over in my team so we can tune it a bit more towards better performance (at cost of a bit of battery).
This is currently in BETA so there will be some hiccups here and there, we will need feedback from a lot of people so we can fine tune it some more until most people are satisfied.

I'm literally blown away or maybe over whelmed by that OP.

been using for a few hours........browsing.....watching video....taking picture. had it freeze on me while in the camera, after zooming, takign picture, and moving the phone it froze. had to power down because my phone went totally unresponsive. im idle drain is insane though. down to 0.36%/h from about 1.5%/h.
as im writing this i tested to camera malfunction again and it malfunctioned yet again. on OOS 5.0.2 blu_sparks kernel. and also experiencing sluggish scrolling in instagram.
edit: added some stuff

Would like to try, only one question. How to remove after flash? Apk unninstal, magisk module delete, but what about flashable aroma zip? Thanks for you awesome work!

Bad scrolling experience when the battery profile is load but for a beta it's really , I love the idea if the project thanks for your work

Please provide a logcat when something starts to not work as it should and even makes the phone unresponsive, so we can take a look.

I concur. After reading this, i tried to take a picture at 4x zoom. Right after clicking the shutter button, it hung. While waiting to see if it would get back to normal, i could see occasional stutters. After rebooting, I couldn't replicate the issue again
Sent from my Oneplus 5 using XDA-Developers Legacy app

I just replicated the issue while taking a logcat. One is the entire log and one is the log from 'mm_camera'.
edit: @DeeZZ_NuuZZ

@ZeroInfinity htc 10 stock user here. cant seem to install apk. says unable to parse application. would love to be able to use this on stock Nougat

Does it work on custom ROMs too?

Ok, so far , so good. Using it on my 3T. Can already feel the performance boost. I use G+ as a benchmark for scrolling and it has smoothed out quite a bit. Now, i will see how it does on battery. Great job, brother. Always looking for new ways to save battery. Appreciate the effort

I experience jitter scroll effect rather being very smooth. I am on OB5 with Boeffla kernel.
It is more than 10 hours now. I will watch battery saving and share here.
As someone mentioned in this thread, it is a good idea to take system backup before flashing so that we can revert.

Useful handy apps...!

Guys I am using android phone since 2 years now and in that period I come across some useful apps which help me alot to do multitasking, monitoring the useful things and doing fun with the phone. So I thought that I should some of those apps with you
NOTE :- I am just sharing these apps with u so that you people can use it in more efficient way. I am not taking any credit for it. I have given links of those apps' from where you can actually download those apps and thanks to those developers
1) SWAPPS APP
Ok guys now a days I am using Swapps app which is really light weight app with multitasking capability. Description is as follows.
Swapps![/COLOR] is the altimate tool for multitasking on your android device. With a simple swipe action you can get to any other app you wish.
Swapps! launcher is always there, when you play, read or listen, you can always swipe and switch to another app.
Swapps! Active Panel is devided into 3 spaces:
Starred - Your favorite apps will always be on top for quick access.
Recent Used - the last recent applications that you used for quick switching between tasks.
All Apps - Full app drawer!
Swapps! features:
Swapps! contains full app drawer just like in your home app
'Recently Used' panel contains 5 last apps you opened
'Recently Used' app's background process can be closes by long press on the app
'Starred' panel holds up to 10 of your favorite apps
Swapps! is accessible anytime, regardless of which application is currently running, using a simple swipe!
Notification icon can be disabled or made transparent in the settings screen.
Fully customizable swipe-area (Side, Width, Height)

Ok guys you can download this app from below link. All credit goes to its btilliant developers
This is original link of app All credit goes to its btilliant developers.
This app is available on market also for free
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2130082
2) COOLTOOL
Many times I feel that I should monitor data traffic so that I can come to knowat which speed I am downloading a file. Otr sometimes I need to monitor freq and ram while using a perticular app so that I can come to know how much ram is used by phone while running that app. So gor such things I always prefer a cool app "COOLTOOL" app
Its description as follows
This utility allows you to monitor a various system info in "always on top" floating window (overlay mode).
Available features:
- CPU Usage meter
- Free RAM meter
- CPU Frequency indicator
- 2g/3g/Wi-Fi Traffic meter
- Battery Level
- Battery Temperature
- Battery Current (mA)
- Wi-Fi Signal Level
- I/O Activity
- Time/Date indicator
- GSM Cell Signal Level (Samsung Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note are not supported due to firmware bug!)
- Number of fixed GPS satellites
- SD Card free space
- Most resource-intensive processes
- Task Killer
Also there is nice real time graph on background.
Press Show Panel button to enable dashboard. You can drag floating window over the screen or double tap to open settings. See video and screen-shots for details.
This application allows you to:
- Easy diagnostic problem processes that consume resources excessively.
- With Cool Tool you can monitor full-screen applications (games, video players, browsers).
- Monitor your Internet traffic without closing the browser window.
- Make your battery level always visible, with accurate percentage scale.
- Monitor how good your CPU governor switches between CPU frequencies in idle/stresses
Don't forget to try custom themes!
Tips:
Customize the appearance of the panel using color picker dialogs. Also you can adjust transparency and size of the panel in Sliders section.
If you want the panel did not receive touch events, just select the "ICS hack" box. If you Android 4.0 user, you also may want to turn it on. Since in ICS the status bar is drawn on top of all. Even on top of Cool Tool
Tons of gauges could drain your battery very quickly. Uncheck the features that you do not need. Btw, Cool Tool went to sleep and do not draw anything when your display turns off. It is for powersave.
Warning! "Show most resource-intensive process" feature is pretty resource-intensive You should use it only if you really need it.
If you want to hide Cool Tool panel in specific app, just select that app in Black List tab.

This app is totally free on market I always set it on status bar.
3) KeepScreen
Like me many of you must have experiened screen off problem while watching youtube video. Due to screen off buffering stops (google developers should remove this bug) which is really annoying. So I thought there should be an app which should control or keep our screen on so that watching youtube video without any interrupt will be fine. After trying lot of apps I found a free and reliable app on market "KeepScreen" which really do a remarkable job.
You can specifically choose any apps for which only you want screen on when it gets launched. This acts like a background service so a very negligible ram is taken by it. Here is playstore link
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tni.KeepScreenLite&hl=en
4) MultiTasking Lite
In every android OS version there is inbuilt task manager which will show u recent apps when you long press home button. But I hate that why it can't show us currently running live apps like how a symbian phone shows...! So I was searching for an app which will act as task killer, which will show me currently running running apps, services etc. And finally a best app I found is MultiTasking lite app. Its UI is as simple as possible.
Also when u will launch it it automatically clears empty processes which eats ur ram and free up some ram for you. So its like a multitasking + ram free maker app
Description of app
Quickly switch between running apps for a list of the currently running tasks.
- The application activate when using double-press on HOME key.
- Long press on the Home(icon) button to terminate all running applications.
# Multitasking Pro (
- Support screen orientation.
- Remove Ads.

IMP TIP
I am giving you some important setting tips which will help you to setup app in more efficient way.
-Open settings
-In default home application set ur launcher that you are using it.
-Go to activation key. And choose home key single press.
-Click Enable additionql feature
-Startup tab -> running
-Trnsition animation -> set whatever u like.
-Click hide services.
-Click hide services.
-Click empty processes remove.
-Click use tab interface.
-Click memory usage.
-Click use bottom button.
-Click popup animation.
-Window position - center
This app works really very well. If u want to remove annoying ad while using app then use any ad remover app. I mainly prefer Adaway app
Playstore Link :
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tkdtnek23.app.multitaskinglite&hl=en
5) Greenify
I know that whenever we dont want any system/user app then we use tit backup to freeze that app so that all activities related to that app get freeze. But some apps like facebook or whatsapp always stay in memory in form of active services which affects our ram and battery alot and this is the main reason why android keep on lagging after use but iphone always remain smoother even after use of lots of apps. Iphone never keeps apps in his memory. It just pause or we can say that hibernate background app temporarily (like our Tit backup app do) to give smoother experience to user. I always wish that android should also use such system. And luckily I got an app which works exactly on this mechanism. Its Greenify
Use this app just to temporarily hibernate some apps which stays in memory un-necessarily. If you want to launch that app then you can easily launch it. Your app will run smoothly without any interruption. After our use is over then app will again hibernate by its own.
Remember hibernation will not work on running app. Hibernation will only happen when app's use is over. So enjoy ur android without worrying of lag

I will add more useful apps for you guys.
Mayne this would be a nice directory

@Vishal ,Keep Screen is good but if you use it for YouTube problem than use modified YouTube app from XDA. It has inbuilt feature to buffer in screen off also that will also help in listing song from YouTube.

Ya thanks buddy I have tried that but main problem is as a user I want to watch a video contineously and dont want to wake up my screen video everytime. Screen goes off after a perticular time interval (as per screen off settings) which annoy a user. I want a continuous streaming of video without any kind of interrupt.
Added greenify app in OP. A must recommanded app for everyone

I am proud to present, an RErick exclusive... TKRom. A unique ROM in every way. The ROM has some Team Kernelizers exclusives including our sysctrl, build.prop mods and Operation Killjoy. These are unique in that you will not find these mods all together in one complete ROM. The result... Incredibly smooth, snappy performance. Exactly what you would expect your high end device to feel like. UI lag is dramatically reduced thanks to built in entropy generation and sysctrl mods. Welcome to the NEW android experience!! I challenge you to try this ROM. I want you to have high expectations when installing this as we had high standards when we designed these mods.

sandy7 - for his tutorials
ficeto - for settings app
my wife - for putting up with me through all this
Anyone else that I missed, let me know and I will add you!
Some notes that you should read: First boot takes quite a while. Probably longer than what you are used to. There is a lot of stuff going on in the background especially with some of our proprietary mods. Please be patient. My first boot I timed at 4min3sec. So don't freak out. After the first boot, you will notice dramatic effects from our mods. Also the Theme Pack is quite large. I am not the best with Aroma or anything like that so it is very slow to load and the Themes are slow to flash. Please be patient. I have personally tested all of the themes with both CWM and TWRP, and although slow, they work as intended.
Standard disclaimer. If you download and flash this software, Team Kernelizers will not be held liable for anything that may arise out of your actions. If your phone puts out a hit on your toaster... sorry bro, we don't cover that. Better call your State Farm Agent.
Do not forget to set animation speeds to .5 in developer options. If you don't the custom animations will make it seem slow

Okay, our installer is probably more advanced than what you're used to seeing. This is because of our TKMod being merged with the ROM. There are probably some options you have never seen before and this is just a quick walkthrough where I will attempt to explain what exactly is going on.
TKRom is packaged with the KT747 kernel. You don't have to keep this kernel, you may flash the kernel of your choice over the top of this installation. However, everything in this ROM has been hand selected or designed to work best as we provide it.
This is the first screen with options that you will see. This is not a theme for the ROM, this is just a theme for Aroma. This way you can choose what the installer will look like throughout the installation process.
This is the next screen. Here you may choose to run the installer or you may also choose an aroma based file browser/terminal emulator.
Here is what the file browser looks like
The next screen is where you choose to install a fresh copy of the ROM, or you may choose the TKMod which will only change the options with the ROM. The only difference is that one installs the entire ROM with selections, and the other only installs the selections
This is where it gets juicy. Here you will see an option to disable 5 different rogue files. This is not mandatory, but if you plan on keeping the kernel packaged with the ROM we recommend to disable all of them. As a side note, mpdecision should only be renamed if you decide to use a hot-plugging governor with your kernel. Examples of this are msm-dcvs, Pegasusq, abyssplug, etc. However, if you keep the kt747 kernel, there is an option in the KTweaker app that has an auto hotplug driver built in for non-hotplugging governors. If you would like to use the auto-hotplug driver, proceed with disabling mpdecision and use the KTweaker app to enable auto hot-plugging. If you want a completely stock experience and don't want to tinker with the kernel, we recommend disabling all of them EXCEPT for mpdecision. Of course any of these options can be reverted or changed at anytime by selecting the tkmod option in the installer. For more information please see our Team Kernelizers thread in the general section of this forum.
This next screen is to revert or restore any file that has been previously disabled for whatever reason you like.
Here are some ROM options for you.
Louder sound mod will increase external speaker output by 50%
AOSP MMS is just that, gets rid of the TW style and replaces it with AOSP inverted MMS with popup notifications
Framework animations are special TK animations that make your phone look a bit fancier and a special overscroll color for each version of the ROM. TKRom 3 is an electric green color.
The next one is the splash screen. The KT747 kernel comes with a custom splash screen you have seen it if you haven't selected this option. If you want the stock one back that's what this option is for.
SystemUI is to select whether or not you want the toggles and brightness slider in the pull down. Selecting remove will free up some room but you will have no quick toggles.
The debloating option will get rid of a lot of Samsung and Verizon crap. However if you debloat, NFC WILL NOT WORK. If you want NFC please select the Let me decide option and debloat the ROM yourself. I do not have time to make a list of everything that is removed by if you open the zip with winrar or 7zip all the stuff removed will be in the bloat folder
Cross breeder. We HIGHLY recommend installing this as this greatly increases the effectiveness of our sysctrl. This is entropy generation which android pulls from a pool of entropy. This is basically random bits of data. With crossbreeder its around 4000, and without is only 200. The effects are immediately noticeable in the way the os flips through screens and such. Install it. You will love it. It becomes effective after the second reboot of your device
That's it. After you hit next the installer will handle everything else. Just sit back and enjoy!

Whew! Had me worried there for a second. Myself and 3 of my testers had an issue where internal SD card wouldn't read. It was reporting negative free memory. It would lock up the gallery and caused me all kinds of headaches. It took 2 days to get it fixed. I have a fix for it I was just hoping that it still wasn't there.
Lag gone BTW?

I've not fully tested the quantity of decrease in battery life with all this modifications.
I'm sure that the increase of general responsiveness and the better scrolling will bring some penalties in the battery life. I'm gonna test this in the next days, to see how it really affects..
It would seem that turning off the animations would increase the battery life.
Scribbled with my S-Pen
I would not recommend turning on "force gpu rendering." Some apps will not open or work correctly with this checked. It may also cause your device to run hot and drain your battery faster. There is no real word benefit to having it turned on.

Yepp, removing bloatware, disabling animations and installing greenify will boost your battery life..
Forcing the GPU rendering, removing the scroll cache and playing with the several "pimp my rom" parameters may decrease your battery life..
I'm gonna do a following in battery consumption this next days and see how much impacts in battery life..

It's real useful with Rogue Apps that remain active in all circumstances.. Greenify put them in hibernation (like iOS multitasking) not consuming then battery and resources..
This way you can control the "sometimes" dangerous Android Multitasking, only allowing in background the apps you really want..
I think it's really useful in the Note 3 due to it's huge performance.. you never notice if an app has been hybernated or it's actually running in background, the CPU wokes both of them nearly instantaniouslly.. and you gain in some cases real battery life..
Sounds good, some questions though
Is it possible to grennify apps that is schedule to run every night?
Are there any consequences to hibernate system apps?

Grennify apps that need to run on a schedule will cause them not to run on schedule. All greenify does is keep apps from running till you manually click on app.

You also have the option not to Greenify that apps.
I only have problems with "Google Keep" notifications, Whattsapp, Gmail, etc, don't give any problems at all..

DEEP IMPACT ROM
Hi guys, after a long wait, I bring to you an update to the first iteration of the Deep_Impact_Rom series with version 2.526
[base updated to N7100XXUFNI4] :fingers-crossed:
Rom has been completely debloated of all unwanted stuff which occupies RAM and consumes battery un-necessarily. If you do need any services back first do look up in the bloat folders. If you dont find it, or dont know what to include, post a request on the thread itself. Me or anyone else who have already faced that issue will help you out.
Rom has been themed optimally for maximum battery savings including the all black look which has been proven to have the maximum battery life for all available colors which runs on an AMOLED screen such as our beloved note 2.
And the other main intention of this rom is to reduce after install customization. I've done the debloating part already. So, there are no apps that you would need to freeze from titanium backup. And commonly used apps have already been included. Majority of the missing apps can be installed from play store.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Instructions for flashing the Rom
Please note, neither me nor my cat are responsible for your device. Be careful in following the steps and you shouldn't have any problems. Oh yeah.. Your warranty is now void.!!
I've observed a lot of threads, and a lot of people have a lot of questions about installing roms.
Make sure you read the entire post as it will save you a lotttt of google searches and time searching for answers.
So, I'm sharing with you what needs to be done in order to install the right way, get the max performance, batt life, how to avoid FCs and some known errors, ways to correct them and what to expect from the device + some mods you would like to have
Step 1
Before install, super wipe. And I dont mean just clearing cache, preload and system folders.
Use of either Philz or TWRP recovery recommended, update to the latest.
Before using this option though, make sure you backup the folders pictures, DCIM and whatsapp if you plan on restoring the conversations that you've had. This is equally important if you play a lot of games. Games have a tendency to leave behind huge clusters of junk.
1> in case of philz-
Use the "clean to install new rom" option under wipe data/factory reset in case of Philz after using the option clean to install a new rom, head over to the mounts and storage area and use the option "format /sdcard".
2> in case of TWRP-
And use the advanced format and format "internal SD, dalvik, cache, data and system" in case of TWRP.
I've made thousands of flashes following simple precautions, and not once my EFS was affected. So make it a point to follow this guide if you dont know how to go about flashing a rom.
Step 2
Install the rom, and dont flash any mod or pack just yet, reboot. Allow the rom to complete all the necessary "after install" procedures. like setting up of account, but not apps.
To install mods or a custom kernel, reboot now after update.
Complete setup and just make sure play store updates itself and camera is working all right.
Step 3
Installing the root fix
1> right after flashing rom, flashing the fix
2> complete rom setup, and then flash the fix
reboot and flash the latest super su from recovery.
I would strongly recommend the second method as the first one may result in a non working or a partial rooted rom.
Step 4- Mods
Now the part comes in where the rom has to be pretty much setup to match your requirements
1> To change DPI- There are 3 ways of doing this
a) build.prop edit
b) installing a mod pack
c) using Texdroider dpi
Although all the 3 methods do the same job, i would not recommend the second method as it installs system files which can be much older than the rom base and can lead to some FCs or errors and there aren't many mod packs that are simply "complete". Now if you find the first method too tedious, use the app called Texdroider dpi from play store to do that job. Its as easy as install, change values and reboot. Its the easiest way to change dpi on any rom, Not only this.
names of applications that need to be set to 320 dpi from app settings in case of any other dpi other than default-
a. keyboard
b. contacts
c. calculator
d. camera
e. com.android.keyguard
f. idea sketch
g. phone
2> Customization
To everyone who hates the stock look, or if looking for something different, use xposed module. I prefer wanam by choice as almost every option in it works. There are other options available such as gravitybox, xblast and others which do the similar job. Here, you will be the best judge on what you want, and how you like the rom to be and function.
3> Custom kernels
There are options of Kernels available, but I personally prefer Agni. Tried almost all kernels possible out there, and Agni is the best giving out the best possible batt performance and enhancing smoothness.
Use these settings in Agni as recommended by @geekynoob
"Profile- normal
CPU governor- yanks zzmove
Max CPU freq- 1600mhz
CPU undervolting to -30mv
Gpu -50mv
Min 200mhz
Touch 2 wake off
Lmk medium
Power saving balancer set to max"
4> Disable motion, NFC, Air Gestures and all possible things that you dont use as it consumes CPU usage and battery as well.
Thats is guys. These are all the suggestions that I can think of at the moment. If you need anything else, let me know, by replying to this post.
Have fun customizing the rom.
Some pointers to get more battery life:
1. Turn off WiFi always allow scanning under advanced WiFi settings
2. If you have xposed installed, then do not believe the default battery stats found under settings. Xposed messes up the battery stats
3. If you are on custom kernel, then change CPU governor, play with the settings and find out which would be the best governor for you (device specific and usage dependent- this no one can teach. you'd have to experiment on own)
4. use a screen filter such as darker, to reduce brightness intensity when indoors
5. Use a wake lock detector to check for battery consuming apps and take necessary action on it
6. Use a black wallpaper if possible with minimal colors (applies to only amoled screens)
7. If applications permit the use of black themes, then its a better way to get more juice
8. Trickle charge the battery. Once the charge is complete, allow the phone to be plugged in for 10 to 15 min more to trickle charge. This will enhance the battery's overall life and should be made a regular practice.
9. Turn off unwanted notifications. E.g. Facebook
10. Turn off Google location reporting and all location based services
11. If you play a lot of games, make sure the games dont cause excessive wake ups
12. Hibernate apps with greenify from play store. Don't hibernate system apps as the rom is already debloated.
Summary
1> Install zip
2> reboot, complete account setup
3> reboot to recovery and flash Super SU included (not needed for ng4 base)
4> if you choose xperia launcher, go to launcher settings and under general, remove the tick from "keep launcher in memory" to avoid the persistent xperia launcher, tap to configure notification in notification menu
5> after complete install and setup, go to settings, click on device, go to sound and at the last, under advanced, you'll be able to see sound effects. Select that and click on soundalive or viper audio (preferable) to avoid negligible fc when walkman is opened. (if faced with that FC, check root permissions and reinstall viper. Otherwise negligible)
6> if you feel anything missing, then either let me know over the post or find the link to bloat folder in 2nd post in case you need any apps back into the operating system. Find them in the respective folders, and push them to the same folder under root/system/*****, set permissions to rw-r-r, reboot to recovery, clear cache and reboot. Things should start working fine.

Guys, responses might be slow cuz of the large amount of projects and regular classes. Feel free to post suggestions, requests, anything you'd like. But assured, your suggestion and comment will not go unnoticed. Thanks for the co-operation.
Hit thanks if you like my work...
Note on the new update: Guys, the gallery and file system on 2.5 will take some time to generate indexes on first boot and may slow down the OS for some time depending on the amount of files on SD card and internal storage. Do have some patience to wait until 2nd charge cycle to get max performance. This is enabled to reduce overall TW lag.

@Sammy_052, thank you so much for the detail flashing instructions mate. Just one thing, Agni is not yet released for 4.4.2, so users should not try available Agni and follow the AGNI pure stock thread to taste it. Thanks again.

I'm very sure Agni's new release is just round the corner. The tutorial is aimed toward being geared for the future with as less edits as possible so that people can learn for the future and not just for my rom nor for the present..

Abdul bhai.. I think the first 3 posts had to be kept reserved, the first 2 already have links and instructions. As I see it, is quite sufficient with all future edits within these 2 posts itself. Saves the hassle for anyone to keep searching the thread. How much will the mouse's scroll button or the page down button be used? We'll give it a break.. What say?

I don't think that screen mirroring works. Did you even try before answering ?
Root breaks it and there is still no fix for touchwiz kitkat roms.
I'm waiting for it to be fixed as I use a lot this feature to play movies on my TV.

yes, rooting breaks Screen Mirroring. There isn't a Fix or patch for kitkat roms yet. I'll try to work on it and see what I can come up with. I'm not sure of WiFi direct though cuz I've personally never used it. Do try and let me know.

By meaning Indian optimized, the carrier settings, language settings, and region specific settings have been set to India so that there is no nodal lock coming into picture on few minor carriers and also for some region specific applications such as google maps and youtube. I have also removed all languages except English (united states), cuz that is the most used language used for a phone interface here.

I installed your ROM and it is very stable, except for a few bugs:
1) When phone is switched off and put on charging, it auto starts
2) Everytime the phone starts, I get a message ( four times ) showing my balance. This didn't happen before and doesn't happen in any other android phone in which I put my sim card in.
3) Wanam xposed module is not working. Anything I should keep in mind ? I installed the xposed framework, but it just doesn't work

Wanam works perfectly fine. Install it through the xposed module or play store as the application has been updated for kitkat. Make sure to have the latest xposed module as well
The autostarts on charging cuz the bootloader you have is a 4.3 bootloader and not 4.4. If you are aware, just like 4.3 update which did not allow going back to 4.1, 4.4 official update does not allow one to go back to 4.3. Since you are on 4.3 bootloader which allows you now to go back to 4.3, that is an issue that i cannot deal with.
About the carrier message popups, I'll look into it on my next iteration. I dont suppose those messages are being charged for you as of this moment.. right??

[YALFT] Yet Another Lag Fix Thread

Hi guys, the LG G3 has some serious specs as well as some serious lag issues. Most of you have noticed that the device is not as smooth as other competor devices such as the M8, Nexus 5, etc.
I have gotten my device to optimal performance without the need of any thermal setting nor ART. Im currently running over 10+ xposed modules without any problem no lag whatsoever.
Here are the things I did (Its quite simple actually) (And yes this requires root)
1.) Removed the cruddy stock LG launcher that has some serious response issues and installed an alternative such as GNL.
2.) Removed all the bloat that came preinstalled.
3.) Download the app Trickster Mod and (I recommend making these settings except C stick so that theyre applied on boot.)
A.) Go to general and set the CPU Governor to "Performance".
B.) Go to specific and set the GPU Governor to "Performance" as well.
C.) This one is for extra performance but note that it is EXTREMELY unstable and has caused my device to randomly crashed multiple occasion so be careful with this one. Go to Specific and enable "ZRAM".
D.) Just an extra one just because.. Go to Screen and set the Red, and Green colors to 240 and leave Blue at 255 and you will get some more pleasant colors. (Not a performance tweak but just though i would share.)
4.) Completely optional but helps. Install Gravity box (DONT DO ANYTHING IN THE APP) then go to settings, developer, then change the animation speed to 75%. 75% is perfect as its not to slow nor to fast like 50%.
5.) Add these tweaks to your build prop (Tested and working). These are the tweaks I use for my ROMS and they help dramatically. Copy any paste it from HERE. Or download the build prop and place it in your system from HERE. (Remember to give it 644 permissions OR ELSE )
Regarding battery life, I have not noticed any difference and i've ran this setup for a week now.
You do know that performance governors stay at the max frequency at all times right?

Yup, but it has not affected my battery nor gotten unstable in any way. I've had it like this for a week and have seen nothing but improvement.
I can set my stuff to performance in system tuner..... It turns up all the cores to max. Obviously it will be snappier.
I shouldn't have to delete my launcher. That's stupid honestly. Your argument is invalid for those who don't want new launchers.
Post something similar to this that shows cpu times

Battery life wouldn't be my concern doing this. My primary concern would be the heat it generated

I noticed that only 2 cores were on when doing heavy tasks and the other 2 were almost always offline or idle. That may have something to do with it. Ill post some battery screenshots once I drain it tomorrow.

Once i undid the thermal daemon tweak the amount of heat produced was very minimal. Its always stayed cool, i've only had it heat up once when using a intensive app for a long period of time.
If you guys are skeptical test it out for yourself you will notice a major improvement and battery should be unaffected.

C.) This one is for extra performance but note that it is EXTREMELY unstable and has caused my device to randomly crashed multiple occasion so be careful with this one. Go to Specific and enable "ZRAM".
I wouldn't advise you recommending this one if it causes phones to be unstable. Crashing phones is more annoying than lag.

I'm on Nova just want your professional opinion. Do you think Google Now Launcher (GNL) is snappier than Nova?
What exactly do the build.prop tweaks do and are there any risks that go along with them?

It honestly depends on the user. I see both launchers as fast and extremely smooth. If your not having problems with nove then keep it, if so then try out GNL.

They are supposed to change some of the core settings of the device, mainly it focuses on GPU performance and UI Draw. No there are not any risks i've fully tested them for a very long time now.

One more quick question, It shows I have 3 CPU's running and one is offline, aren't they all suppose to be working especially when I have CPU and GPU set to performance as you posted? How do I get all 4 cores working?

GNL is nice and fast but is there a way to change the dumb huge icons back to the smaller size?
