Mi4 LTE-CT (2/16) stock And 6.0.1 nandbackup (TWRP). - Xiaomi Mi 4

Hi.
Has anyone of You still have the stock MIUI on Your Mi4 LTE-CT(2/16) ? I have it, so it probably needs to be exactly this model.
I need this for MIUI9 installation. I had my MIUI8 Global ROM backup, but I accidentally deleted it. I want to restore this backup through TWRP, then install MIUI9. I know it's working (at least it was working on my own backup), because I did it before.
I don't want to use MiFlash & doing allover this stuff with flashing TWRP, etc.
Best regards,
Thank You for help.

[Need Help] I need to install Oreo (EMUI 8.0) Stock ROM in Mate 9 using TWRP 3.2.1-0

Hi folks. Sorry if this topic has been covered before. I really tried to find threads with a solution but I wasn't able to get specific answers. Kindly help me out.
This is the current status of my Huawei Mate 9 - MHA-l29
My Huawei Mate 9, MHA- L29 is working okay, aside from a few bugs I noticed after upgrading to Oreo (EMUI 8.0) using TWRP last year (a previous version)
I am running Android 8.0 Oreo. The version reads System 8.0.0.42(00YC) when I check in the "About Phone Section". When I check this version using HiSuite, it tells me that is the official one.
I have unlocked the bootloader FRP...basically everything is unlocked.
I have installed TWRP version 3.2.1-0
I suspect I may have accidentally wiped out the recovery for my device, so if I tried to do a factory reset, it may not work. That is why I wanted to just do a fresh installation of STOCK ROM for Oreo.
Now this is what I need help to do.
I wanted to do a fresh installation of the stock ROM for Oreo (8.0) for my Mate 9 device. I figure stock ROM will be more stable and it will be the official one anyway.
The reason I want to do a fresh install is because I noticed the current version has a few bugs that kept recurring whenever I did a factory reset (issues with themes, calendar, etc).
I wanted to know if I can use TWRP 3.2.1 (currently installed) to do an installation of Oreo stock ROM for my mate 9 using maybe the SD Card. I saw somewhere that I can simply copy the files to the SD card and then use TWRP 3.2.1-0 to do an installation.
If the above is possible, what do I need to do?
If it is not possible to use TWRP 3.2.1, what can I do instead so that I install a new stock ROM without bricking the phone? Please assist.
Thank you in advance for your time and help.

Lost twrp after miui 10 update

Hi, i have a problem with twrp. Lately i bought a Redmi Note 6 Pro, i waited the normal 15 days to unlock the bootloader, then I unlocked it and i flashed twrp, root, etc... The problem is that after the first update i made (MIUI 10 stable update) i lost root (which i think it's normal) and the twrp. TWRP recovery got overwritten by the default xiaomi recovery. How can i fix this? Because it's impossible to install twrp back after every update, i would have to format it evey time because of the locked internal storage! I'll leave some info below.
Ah and btw i tryed again yesterday with a new update and it happened again, so it wasn't just a one-time thing.
Phone: Redmi Note 6 Pro 4+64
MIUI version: MIUI Global 10.2 | Stable | 10.2.2.0(OEKMIXM) last version, i updated yesterday
TWRP used: unofficial twrp, the official one isn't out yet for my device. If it's needed i can send the iso or something
Used this recovery

Does it work for you or you lose it as well after update? Thank you anyway
Will this twrp work for latest version??
I lost root and TWRP after updating too.
I heard that everytime you update your phone, it replaces the TWRP and disable root. That's one of the reasons I will wait more before root my phone.
Guys i'm working hard to find a solution. If i find it i'll tell you. Please do the same if you find something
I think you'll need to do everything again (install TWRP and root).

The bad part isn't re-installing twrp or root. It's that every time you do that you MUST format the data because insthead you wouldn't have access to internal storage from twrp, and that makes it impossible to flash anything

That's indeed the worst part. Better to wait for a recovery that can decrypt internal storage permanently.

After flashing stock miui you have to flash disable vm cause the stock miui will replace the recovery with the stock one!
You all should learn about these topics more or stop experimenting with half knowledge.
When you are installing/ flashing any full MIUI ROM, you are also flashing the stock recovery that comes with MIUI. So it's natural that TWRP will get replaced.
So after flashing a new ROM, always flash TWRP and Lazyflasher too.
Always install/ flash a new ROM via TWRP and not through the System Updater app.
Hope this helped.
Flash TWRP then flash this : https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/universal-dm-verity-forceencrypt-t3817389
for euopean country you should use EU rom, weekly OTA update and flashed by TWRP automatically,
only Magisk must be flashed again for root,
maybe for chinese developer rom it is the same procedure ?
Lost root

Help! Need to downgrade from Pie back to Oreo

Is it possible to downgrade back to Oreo?
I know there is ARB, but I read that some users are able to get back to 8.1 from 9.0
Everytime I try to flash an 8.1 Rom (Global Stable 10.2.2.0) via Fastboot, I brick my Phone and can only flash a PIE rom (Global Stable 10.3.2.0) to make it work again.
If I am missing something and it is somehow possible, any help would be highly appreciated.
You can try to flash oreo fastboot rom with mi authorized account. Maybe it works, i have tried and tested with RN5(whyred), not tried with RN6(tulip) yet.
As both devices shares same chipset, Hopefully it works
I got it working again. I just flashed Global Stable 10.3.2.0 with Android Pie via fastboot. After that, I installed TWRP and installed Global Stable 10.2.2.0 with Android 8.1 via Recovery and Wiped my phone.
I have no idea why it is working with twrp and not with fastboot, but whatever. I now have my Android 8.1 back even with all these ARB stuff :good:

Xiaomi Poco F1 touch not working after installing TWRP!

Hey guys i have an issue,
i was running Pixel Experience 10 but on MIUI 10, i couldn't update the last one so i thought to get back to stock rom, update to miui 11 and then get back to my Pixel rom. I DID A F*CKING MISTAKE. I installed the Miui 11 Update through TWRP without restoring the stock miui 10 rom. It worked but i had lost my Pixel rom ( i have a backup), ok then i installed TWRP at the MIUI 11 because recovery mode got me at Xiaomi Recovery for some reason. Inside the TWRP i flashed Disabled forc Encryption, but it didnt flash the Magisk, i reboot to system and after 100 bootloops i tried to go back to recovery mode, it boot at TWRP but since then, the TOUCHSCREEN DOESN'T WORK.. I used xiaomi mi flash tool to return to stock rom, it did, locked the bootloader etc...the touchscreen still doesn't work though... I can connect a mouse with OTG Type-C and i can do anything you tell me in order to fix it.. i have already update to MIUI 11, unlock the bootloader, installed TWRP and have Root. Has anyone any idea or a solution to try?
Thanks everyone in advance.

What version of TWRP for my Poco F2 Pro 8/256?

Hi,
how to know if a version of twrp is good for my device,
i mean i read some post about the different versions of twrp and sometime bootloop happen with 3.4.2b sometime with 3.4.1 or chinese LWR.
I want to install magisk over stock 12.0.4 Global but am a bit afraid with all the versions of TWRP and bootloop problem for my Poco F2 Pro 8/256 with stock 12.0.4 QJKMIXM...
Subsidiary question: When can we expect to have an official version of twrp?
Thanks by advance.
Well, pick anyone, I'm personally using LRTeam TWRP.
Just backup your data and if you'r stuck in a bootloop you can try flash another or reflash your stock ROM with miflash.
