Zuk Z1 Toolkit 0.5.2 BETA [WIN][MAC] [LIN]

This toolkit was initially created for OnePlus One by @Consistant and I have made a port for Zuk Z1.
I am not responsible for any damage this toolkit may cause to your phone.
WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH THIS?
- Unlock and lock bootloader
- Root
- Flash TWRP and Stock recovery
- Install and uninstall Xposed (You must install this before installing xposed)
- Download and flash 38J CM12.1
- Do some adb and fastboot commands (booting into custom recovery, sideload a zip file, reflash to stock with a downloaded image, check bootloader status...)
- Install ADB and fastboot (just for mac)
MAC INSTRUCTIONS
- Download Mac version of the toolkit in downloads section and unzip it.
- Open Terminal
- Write 'sh ' (without commas) and drag start.sh into the terminal. It should be something like this: sh /Users/Javi/Desktop/Zuk Z1 Toolkit/start.sh
- Now you should see this
- Read very carefully everything the toolkit says to you. It is very important or things won't work.
WINDOWS INSTRUCTIONS
- This toolkit was made to work with Mac. In order to use it on Windows you will have to download Cygwin.
- You will need usb drivers in order to use adb. If those didn't work try to use Samsung's. I've tried both of them on Windows 10 and can't make them work with adb.
- You will also need adb and fastboot which you can quickly install here
- Download Windows' version of the toolkit on download section and unzip it.
- When you have done every step, open Cygwin terminal.
- Write 'sh ' and drag start.sh to the terminal.
- Press enter and you will have the toolkit working.
- Read very carefully everything the toolkit says to you. It is very important or things won't work.
LINUX INSTRUCTIONS
Try the MAC instructions. If they don't work for you, try using 'bash' instead of 'sh'

I abandon the project as I have sold my device. If anyone wants to continue with it he is free to get the code and modify it.

I have a question: Why aren't fastboot commands working on the Mac, yet?
You just need to replace "fastboot flash partitionname filename.img" with "./fastboot-mac (or whatever its name is) flash partitionname filename.img"

They haven't started because nightlies are not available yet. So they don't have the sources to work with. When nightlies are out they will start modding

I thought the only difference between them was that one you could touch and the other you had to move with physical buttons.. So I only added one because the toolkit is getting bigger and bigger. If there more differences between them i will add it on the next update

- We restarted this mod from scratch because of multiple reason, the big one is that most of those mods can't work correctly on new android version, and therefore, most executable were out to date.
- PPX (Pure Performance X) already contains AE (Adrenaline Engine)
- We "just" update some binaries and *tada* bootloop for a lot of devices .-.
v0.4 :
- Rebase PPX & AE, no more bootloop on STOCK 6.1, only sqlite3 has been PIE updated (+arch specific)
- Only PPX stock version, i'm looking how to install stock and CM version from the same script.
Redone uninstaller :
- Bad deletion removed
- Lib files will stay even after uninstall, could be used by other mods

Bootloop but nice xD
I'm on it, looking for stock PPX test & update ... that nice too see people looking at their phone (android 5+) telling Yay it works, my phone is faster ...
But almost none of binaries are PIE so they can't be executed on their devices ... only script and files tweaks can work :/

cm13 on lux (squid kernel) is booting ok, but it is still not good for daily driver
at least phone got snappier, but stability is more important for me

I used PPX stock version so if you are using CM based rom, it can't work for now.
But if one of you are on stock, can you send logs on github ? (On issue, you will see "bootloop on 10.0.4") thanks

CM ?! You are lucky, it is not supposed to work on CM yet.
As for me, uninstaller make my device bootloop, I probably miss something :/

Updated uninstaller :
No more bootloop, I was deleting /system/bin/dnsmasq -.-
I also deleted deletion of lib files, could be used by others mods.

Try antutu benchmark before & after. v10.0.4 isn't complete yet so there is only small difference. Scrolling should be less laggy (very noticeable on low end device).
v10.0.4 isn't improve battery much, i didn't gain much time on this one compared to v8 :/

LineageOS 13.0 for Redmi 3S(land)

Originally forked from @zwliew repo.
Moved to separate thread due to recommendations from seniors.
Features:
- CPUs up and downclocked, decreased CPU voltage fore low freq( @difr )
- corrected core-ctl algorithm: 0&4 cores didn't turned of due core rotation, so statistics will not reset( @difr )
- suppressed debug output for most services
- disabled qcom proprietary services caused power drain
- enabled camera2 api, so built-in camera app didn't work properly, use camera with full camera2api support
- removed update of firmware, so no more can't boot to recovery from system
- GPS fully work now
- goodix scanner works after patch - see readme.
- fix sim settings reset after reboot
- headset volume buttons work now
Bugs:
- camera quality worse then miui
- may be smth else...
First step
Read this very attentive.
Install:
1. Install TWRP-3.1 from gdrive.
2. Flash latest ROM zip
3. If you have goodix FP - flash goodix patch
4. Since 22.03 release ROM shipped without built-in root, if needed flash su-addon from https://download.lineageos.org/extras
5. Boot to system and perform first setup
6. Reboot to recovery again and install Gapps if needed
7. Enjoy

have used the 26th build : good performance (46000 antutu), good battery life (about 90% of deepsleep in 2 days )
29th build flashed over it, looks to be great too !
only annoying thing is that i can't install an .apk file :-s (tried xposed and 2 other different, and it says problem parsing the file)
don't know if it is related to the rom or gapps

In the OP Point 7 of installation guide. That installs MagiskSU. Just install magisk manager to control root.

I'm coming from epic global ROM, do i still need to do the formatting?
Edit: by format system, do you mean factory reset or formatting the entire SD card where all files will be erased?

I ordered my Mix and it should arrive next week..and I was only DREAMING of CM14.1 build, as I'm not too fond of the "no drawer" Xiaomi does with the ROMs. Also Pixel Launcher is so nice to use!
@pappschlumpf you really made a happy man out of me!! I would ask one bit of info: did you use kernel sources from the Note 2? I was trying to understand how to perform a build by myself but lack of sources had stopped me. could you explain how you solved this?

Just like lineageos trebuchet is the launcher you can flash pixel or Google launcher either or download ext ext

Wait did they release the mi mix kernel sources ? Looks like i'm behind

This is so exciting. Can't wait to try. My device was unlocked when I got it, but when I flashed the global software, I didn't realize that wipe and lock was ticked. So now my bootloader is locked. Since it is tied to the mi account and not the device, I have to wait for them to okay it. And they seam to be in no hurry. Silliest way ever for unlocking. Anyone know a way to speed up the process?

In version 2 much is corrected. Need to flash "flyme_markw_6.7.5.8R_v2_a4041c.zip"

Is there a "defaults" setting under apps settings? If so, you have to choose a default phone app.

I did know that, am not noob in this.
However this rom caused my phone to go sloooow which I didn't recover even after wiping and formatting EVERYTHING and going back to stock. It is now unresponsive, laggish and can't even open most apps, wherever rom I go. Yes, after wiping everything and restoring stock, flashing other recoveries, and going full-pro with fastboot and adb commands
I do not know what this Flyme did, maybe it was just bad luck or coincidence for me, but my phone is dead and irrecoverable now. And I read in 4pda some Russian guy saying something similar about not being able to boot recovery after newest build, so it may be rom-related as it seems, be extremely cautious with it people

Refllash with miFlash using edl mode. Should work.

Found some bugs in this rom
- double tap to wake not working
- gallery not working when opening picture from camera
- gmail often crash
- Wifi not detected in some apps, should choose data & wifi on then the apps working (Google Photo, Facebook auto play video).
- Sdcard not show in builtin expoler
