Good evening everyone. Need help. I am in doubt about the Advanced Wipe. Can I wipe everything, then after connect the phone via USB cable to PC then paste a Custom Rom plus gapps on the phone and flash it? Is there some risk to brick or damage the devic, obviuosly, using the right files. Thanks in advance!
Yes, you can do that, it's safe.

Thanks a lot, khanjuii. Later, If I want return to MIUI, I´ll can do this using the flash tool avaible (MIFlash) and the latest Global Stable ROM, right? The device will be with the bootloader locked again, like 'unboxing'?

I would like to thank our friend khanjui, who patiently helped me to install the LO15 on my device. Thank you my brother! To the others who are having problems when trying to install the ROM and are faced with error 7, download the file natriumnewmodempack v8.1.11.zip file, and the TWRP flash in it first; then the ROM and then the Gapps! Good luck! :good::good:

Hi everyone. Here is the problem. See, right now, I have teamwin recovery 3......sonething. 3.something. Anyways, I use darthstalker rom version 6. I want to upgrade to version 7 but....... Whoever I try to update or to even install any OS, all I get is boot loops or a galaxy logo with a red kernel message on top. It won't flash a new OS of any kind. For now my note 5 works fine on darthstalker 6 with sky kernel but I am dieing to see darthstalker 7. Any ideas luvs? When in recovery, am I supposed to mount something or unmount that's causing the trouble? I'm lost
darthstalker 6 is Lollipop, darthstalker 7 is marshmallow. you have to use a marshmallow kernel. use SkyHigh v3.4 http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmo...pment/kernel-skyhigh-mm-6-0-1-kernel-t3358982
Where's the download link luv?
I must be an idiot but I can't find the download load link to the kernel anywhere.

You need to update to MM official first. Backup everything you need on your device. Follow the instructions in the MM Update/root thread in the general section.

How do I update to mm official?
My phone isn't hooked to tmobile. I just use it as an Internet phone. It was my moms and she gave it to me. I use it on WiFi. She rooted it for me and I out on darthstalker 6 myself. I also don't have a computer anymore so whatever I dodo, I only have my recovery and whatever I can achieve in the note 5 without a PC.

Follow this guide and you'll be rooted stock with TWRP. Once done, made a backup of it just in case you need something to fall back on. You can then flash whatever MM rom you want for the T variant.

Alright so I'm gonna get straight to it. I bricked my phone. Took it to the tmobile store to try and get them to fix it (probably a mistake). A guy there flashed a galaxy s7 edge rom for my phone and now the camera doesn't work. I've been dealing with it for a while now but it's seriously annoying. Is there any way for me to restore my camera? The device restarts when I open the camera.
Sorry to ask the obvious - is your fon an S7e?
I would start with flashing the latest stock rom using Odin.

My ignorance pretty much. The first time I bricked my phone I THOUGHT I knew what I was doing. If someone could possibly link me to some very specific directions that would be cool. I just don't wanna deal with that again.

At step 7 flash the stock rom NOT Twrp

Alright, I'm gonna try this. I appreciate the help!
Just install rsd lite, Motorola drivers and download a Verizon version. Unzip the rom and open the rsd. Now, search in the folder unzipped by the flashfile.xml. Put your device in fastboot mode holding power+vol-. Connect USB and press start. Don't disconnect the USB until rsd lite finish. This way you will have updates via ota.

You can't take OTAs on -03 device using -02 ROM. It is only possible on Verizon version because they are using their own Updater app.

There are some bloatwares but nothing heavy, maybe 6 or 7 apps.
As Wisejr said you need to root to uninstall them. I also did the update via ota without any problem (security patch november 2017). The smartphone is fast enough but with marshmallow it is faster.
I have yet to test the battery but the duration seems unchanged. The only things I have noticed are that at startup a message appears on the unlocking of the bootloader and the logo is that of the verizon.
Can someone tell me how to delete the message and change the logo with the original one?
Last question: do you think it is possible to flash with rsd a stock rom (not verizon) and if yes, could you link the latest firmware available (complete image retail or reteu) ?.
Thanks to all and sorry for my english
Were you already running android Nougat before this install, or did you go straight to 7.1.1 from marshmallow? Thanks
Straight from marshmallow using rsd lite

I have some questions.
1) Does the Dual sim still work?
2) And should i update via OTAs after i flash it with Verizon ROM?
3) since I'm not in USA, can verizon rom create network issues?

Hello,
Is there any possibility for a port from Lineage OS to the P40 Lite E ? This google thing is a big problem, even after installing some apps are not working as they should, without a custom firmware this phone is pretty useless.
Is there any change that we can get some custom firmware over it?
Thank you in advance.
Sure, so..you got the bootloader unlocked?

as far as i know there is a test point for this model, could that be useful ? thats usually useful for unlocking the phone which also needs an unlocked bootloader.
So to give more of the backstory I have an unlocked one +7 pro 5G that I flash the European firmware to and what I’m trying to do now is flash a custom ROM onto my 1+7 pro 5G. When I brought up TWRP any time I try to flash any ROM, whether it be lineage or something else I get that error saying that the ROM I selected failed and I exactly sure what’s causing that to happen.

I would try a deep clean:
Complete reset with deletion of the internal storage
Stock firmware reinstallation via fastboot, here you find everything.
Unlock bootloader and root with latest magisk release and twrp 3.3.1-79
Installation of the crDroid rom
I have no other ideas also because I cannot see the images with the error that appears when you try the flash.

The kind of error seems to indicate problems accessing the system partition, as if root privileges are missing.
I believe that with deep clean it can be solved.

Stick with OOS... There's practically no ROM out there made to work with the 5G version of the the OP7Pro.
Only 4G version works with all ROMs , that's probably your issue.
A guy was trying to flash RR in his 5G not too long ago and he ran into issues too.
