I dont know if Im right here, but do you have an idea about replacing the micro usb port on a tablet? I have an old archoos 80 g9, but its not usable anymore because the pins inside the micro usb port are bent. I tried to fix it but no luck yet. I thought maybe replace the complete port on the tablet.
Did anyone do something like that before?

I think my usb hub inside of the g tablet is blown... cant access it nor the microsd slot...
is there a place I can buy the usb port for it? that way I wont have to deal w/ 20 plus little cables? I would just like to buy a new one... if possible...

Hi, I was wondering if anyone have a a picture of the usb port inside the phone. One of the pin inside my usb port came out, and I want to see how the usb port looks like on the logic board, so I can buy the right parts to fix it. Thanks!
I'm going to be buying a samsung note 10.1 and from my last experience with a tablet, i know i need to get a wire so that i can connect my usb stick which has some fims on it, onto my tablet.
i know the tablet has a micro usb hole, and obviously the normal usb stick wont fit.
so whats the wire i need?
i looked on ebay but their all mentioning male and female ect ect.
i just need to know exactly what i need.

Earlier this morning. My HTC is not charging. I've check the micro-usb port and it appears that there is a problem in the port because there is a brocken pin. I've tried to re-align it and out of luck, the pin broke. I am wondering if it is difficult to replace the micro USB battery port of the HTC sensation. I saw a post on incredible S section and it's easy to replace it as the USB port is just connected on the board via ribbon. Have anyone have encountered the same issue. Worse case scenario is I will need to have the usb port be remove on the phone and replace by a new one, but I am not good on soldering stuff and I might mess the phone big time. I hope someone can reply thanks.

At ifixit you can see a picture, that shows, that the port is soldered to the board.
I think it will be hard to solder a new one to it, since the pins are very tiny. Maybe you can find a replacement board on ebay?
