third party charger - Huawei Mate 9 Questions & Answers

Does anyone have a suggestion of a good third party quick wall charger? I received mine with an overseas style charger that doesn't work in the US.

Red X when plugged in 3rd party charger

When I first got my Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, I was able to charge it with a 3rd party charger at full 2.1A rate. (The 3rd party charger was the one that came with my Nook Tablet.) I verified the fast charging by using Battery Monitor Widget by 3C.
Since two updates ago, I notice that it doesn't charge at full rate (with 3rd party charger) anymore. Now it just shows a red X over the battery when I plug it in. I now can only charge full rate with the OEM charger, which is quite annoying!! I wonder if Samsung has enabled some sensing routine in the recent software updates to sense the resistive network like one in Apple iPad chargers?
Has anybody experienced this problem? It looks like a couple of guys in another forum (link below) have experienced the same....

Samsung can be picky about non-OEM chargers and batteries. Your best bet, if you won't shell out for an OEM charger, is to flash a kernel that allows for USB charging, such as Metallice's CM9 kernel, the CM10 stock kernel or (maybe) the CM9-stock kernel.

Spare 25w wall charger (OEM)

Does anyone know where to get one? I'm not looking for 3rd party stuff from amazon, but rather the motorola one that came with the phone.

I haven't yet felt the need for a second charger, but I was curious. All that I found when I entered the numbers on the charger itself was this http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/motorola-turbopower-25-mains-charger-black-p54390.htm
I don't know how it will work in comparison to the 25, but there are plenty of Turbo 15s on ebay. I'm thinking of giving it a shot
Just buy a 3rd party charger and use that. Why pay for overpriced OEM gear when a reputable 3rd party like Aukey, Anker or Tronsmart does the exact same thing for 1/3 of the price?
Tronsmart - http://amzn.to/1Fwm9y8
Aukey - http://amzn.to/1Fwmild
Anker - http://amzn.to/1ViLjaq
I'm not even using the 25w charger. I hate that they hardwired the cable to the charger. Makes it even more bulkier. I rather just bring my Anker 5-port USB charger (http://amzn.to/1ViLF0I) or just take Aukey single USB wall adapter (http://amzn.to/1FwmMHT) and insert my own USB cable.
All 3 will charge the device at quick speed based on what the phone is able to accept and what the charger can output.

I have the OEM 15w and it works just as well as the 25w that came with the device IMHO. Maybe for someone there's a difference. But the charge is so fast with either, it's all good either way for me . Unless someone really has a strong need, I would not worry over the 25w vs 15w at all.
Are you seeing the "Turbo Charge" message when using the 3rd party chargers? I am using the Aukey QC 2.0 charger which is pumping 1700 mA into the phone, but only seeing the "charge" message, not Turbo Charge.
With the Moto Charger I see "Turbo Charge"
I only see "charge". Even with the moto charger, I only saw charge. But I only used it once. It did tell me how long it would take for a full charge.
I just an email to Motorola asking if it is possible to order another turbocharger, hopefully they will respond sometime in the afternoon and I'll post it up

You have to plug is with the screen unlocked, under 100% battery and wait a moment. The TurboCharge message will appear. And you can try with the device turned off and it will show after a few seconds.

I have the Aukey 3 port (http://amzn.to/1N6aV62) and when I use the QC port I always get the Turbo Charge message, and when using the other ports just get the regular charge message.

Turbo Charger not Working for my Moto X Style

Hello Guys, I bought this Moto x Style few months back. The mistake what I did was charging my phone while playing a game, and the charger pin got bend after which the charger is not working properly. Not working properly means it has to be bend somehow and then it charges and sometimes it Doesn't charge also. I think the charger pin got damaged from inside and I tried the charger on other phones also, still the same.
Does it come under warranty?
If not which is the best charger. As I am in india I dont see the moto turbo charger in the market.
Is the Nexus 6 charger compatible, As I saw some posts about it on the Internet.
Please suggest me the best thing possible.
Thanks
I had just given my turbo charger for service in India. It had stopped working through no fault of my own. Motorola has informed me (only after continuously emailing/calling them) that turbochargers are not available separately in India and it will take more than a month to replace it.
If you have bent your pin they will definitely check the charger for damage as they are very careful with accepting turbo chargers due to the shortage in India. Best bet would be to buy a third party charger (I suggest Tronsmart from Amazon) which will cost you approx Rs. 750-900.

3rd party Dash Charger

Hello . Recently my original dash charger broke. I wanted to buy new one but i turned out that it costs almost 40 euro with 100cm cable. Do you know any cheaper 3rd party chargers that support dash charging?
Oppo VOOC charger works completely fine as does their charging cables. They come at half the price of OnePlus accessories.
Don't know if you'd have it available to you, but I recently bought a TITACUTE cable off of Amazon for just $14 and has been working just fine for about two months. Came with two cables, they're braided and are 200cm and the dash charging works fine with the original OnePlus power brick.

is Samsung willingly blocking Wireless Fast Charge with third party wireless chargers?

Hi everyone,
i've recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S21 and are having issues with my car's 10W QI wireless charger. Every time i place my phone on the charger i get the following error message:
"wireless fast charger is not compatible with your phone so you are charging at the standard speed" and pauses charge shortly after due to high temperature. My old phone, Huawei Mate 20 Pro, fast charged perfectly. And it can't be a matter of compatibility because both devices, charger and phone, are registered on
https://www.wirelesspowerconsortium.com/
since they are both certified with QI standard.
I've done some googleing and it seems that this problem appeared after updating to One UI 3.1 since it worked perfectly with One UI 3.0. Samsung doesn't recognize this issue and many people think that its willingly blocking wireless fast charge with third party chargers. So what do you guys think? could it be? I bet that if there actually were a block, many people on this forum are skilled enough to remove it
