Is the bootloader of OnePlus X E1003's bootloader unlockable? HELP PLS!!!

Hello!
I want to unlock my bootloader and root my phone to flash a custom ROM. I have many questions regarding this:
1. http://www.howtogeek.com/239798/how-to-unlock-your-android-phones-bootloader-the-official-way/ This link has instructions to unlock bootloader the official way. It is written there that bootloader of some specific models of some phones might not be unlockable, and it told me to check on XDA developers. So is OnePlus X E1003 Onyx's bootloader unlockable? If not, it is written that I will need to use the unofficial method given at XDA developers.
2. After unlocking my bootloader using ADB, fastboot and all that, do I need to flash a custom recovery like TWRP, CloCkworks mod, etc. ? If yes, pls tell me where to find it and how to flash it!!
3. Do I neet to root my device before flashing a custom ROM? Also, how to root my device manually using adb? Should I use apps like Kingroot for rooting my phone. If yes, pls suggest apps other than kingroot! and also tell me how to root manually using zipped files!
4. What is the safest and ideal way to flash a custom ROM? As OnePlus X hasn't yet received Marshmellow update, is it advisable to flash CM13? Is there any OxygenOS v 3.3 Rom for Oneplus x?? pls helP!!

YES,
if you downgrade zperia x5 and flash pre rooted android 5.1.1 then it is possible
however pre rooted version were created by using prf creators which couldn't support android 6.x.x and later.
p/s I never tried pre rooted xperia stockrom
also if you don't want to use prerooted stockrom of android 5.1.
simply try rooting it with kingroot.
till android 5.1, kingroot were able to find xploit in the system

Thank you.
But as i understanded , this create a rom as a zip file , so it will need recovery to be flashed.
And you can't install the recovery until your phone is rooted or unlocked bootloader.
So you can't root without unlocking the bootloader.
So do you mean that first i need to root my device with an old software , then update to pre rooted software via recovery?
If yes , then please let me know how to root old software and which version.

again now we have go back in times where xploits were available, during kitkat days everyone had rooted phones since android was not using dmvarity. you could root kitkat easily on locked bootloader and have XDR installed while running andoir 4.4.4 ( i did with my C6602) once you had XDR install (xperia dual recovery) you can reboot your mobile into recovery and can flash pre rooted LP.
now this is GOOD for old days and for information
for you xperia z5 never actually landed on kitkat and LP can be rooted via kingroot. so you will be only able to use rooted z5 on LP only~!
if you wana install prerooted rom without kingroot you will have to first root running LP via kingroot, install xdr and flash again LP (clean flashing)
so on looked bootloader you dn't have much options!

Arf, also do you know how can come back in rom stock ?
You mean installing the Stock ROM? Yes, here in the A9s Threads under "Guides and more" Section there is a Thread where you can download and install the Stock ROM again.
To get root you can use magisk. See post in forum

There is a lot to find about updating your OS here on XDA. The latest ROM can be found on lineageos.org.
Basically:
1st time
1. Unlock bootloader
2. Install latest TWRP
3. Wipe Data, System, Cache, Dalvik Cache partitions from withing TWRP
4. Flash latest ROM from within TWRP
5. Flash latest GApps package from within TWRP
6. Flash latest SuperSU or Magisk (I prefer SuperSU) from within TWRP
Before I forget... make sure you've got the proper Nougat RUU installed! More info can be found here.
Since you are currently using a branded ATT device, and are S-On... No you cannot upgrade beyond current version. If you were to S-Off and convert device to Dev/Unlocked version, you could then upgrade to latest build available.

the right TWRP for Oneplus X on OOS 3.1.4?

Hey everyone,
I'm new and not sure where to put this so hope you forgive me or move it
I got the oneplus x 16gb "ONE E1003" with:
Android 6.0.1
OxygenOS 3.1.4
EDIT: I've successfully unlocked the bootloader with fastboot oem unlock by the way.
and I wanna root it. I've followed a root instruction video but ended up in bootloop and had to reflash the stock rom.
Now I searched better and found the suitable SuperSU for my model.
BUT I couldn't find a suitable twrp for my model / version. And If I found a link it was deleted.
Can you help me out please? :/
well thanks for nothing xda "developers"
