Hello,
as you can see on the title it pretty much describes what I want to accomplish.
Now, before you go "just google it" I have tried with the solution to install soundwire, but the wireless is too bad for the telephone, the computer comes first it looks like, so I can't do that.
I have gotten "WO mic" to work properly as it should, I only need help with the speakers for my telephone.
i would love to accomplish this without using Wi-Fi, and either with bluetooth or USB connection, if it would be possible, or is it still not possible after the 5 year old thread I read said that it is not possible to accomplish such thing through bluetooth/USB?
Thank you for taking your time reading through and trying to help me, much appreciated!
// Anders
Edit:
the solution in this thread is what I tried, but it does not work either.

ok so i bought an att fuse and like everyone here mentioned about hang ups, weak signal, etc i thought i would just use my old external bluetooth gps unit.
so breifly here is the problem, it works fine when i use a single application like google maps. but when i try to put the information in the external gps app (start>settings>external gps) i have my problem.
under the hardware section, it states:
Specify the hardware port to which your GPS device is connected.
i do so click ok and nothing.. so i go back in to see whats wrong and the gps hardware port resets its self to "none". its as if the settings never save or reset them selves. i know on my old phone (tytn) this would be somthing i considered unusual (so i am kinda familar with the mobile) os.
i am not sure if there is somthing wrong with my handheld or if at&t has some kind of block?
anyway i tried to use the forum search and really didnt turn up any information so any help would be great i really like this phone.
thanks in advance to anyone that can help.
I've never had those settings stick on any of my WinMo phones.
You don't need to use that to use a BT GPS puck anyway, you set the COM port in the Bluetooth settings.
It won't let you make a selection from that drop-down because the GPS hardware does not function by exposing a COM port as with standard hardware, it exposes a GPS0: port, that is picked up by the GPS ID, and exposed to the system as COM4:..
Now because the GPSID has been replaced by HTC's version of it, it's designed to work only with their internal GPS. If you want support for an external GPS in the GPS ID, you need to cook the stock Windows Mobile driver back into the ROM..
That being said, you don't need the GPSID unless you plan to have multiple programs connecting to the GPS at once, so you should be able to squeek by..
thanks guys i knew i would get a respoce here. unfortunatly i was hoping for a easy solution to use external gps with multiple apps i see unfortunatly its not possible without alot of work.
at any rate i am still very hapy with the device i was debating on upgrading from the tytn amd so glad i did =)

Will this allow the HD2 to make wi-fi n phone calls? To some this may be a goofy question but if this item is windows as the HD2 is & I connected them both with an adapter would this allow the HD2 to make wireless wi-fi n phone calls? It seems a simple idea but my knowledge is short at my age.
If it doesn't why not? I haven't left windows yet & I'm so close to getting another phone & I just want to make sure what TMO phone to get. TIA.
No, the adapter is for windows operating system not windows mobile.
Thanks but if I did connect the two what would happen? Nothing?
Just trying to find a way to make the Leo wi-fi call. Thx.

This item is just to connect a laptop or PC to an existing wifi network. The only way it could be used in a connection between an HD2 and a computer is if you have the HD2 setup as a wifi router and you connected the pc to that....which is pretty much the exact opposite of how you would need the connectivity setup. But, it's still all kind of moot...that adapter won't do anything to enable voip calling on the HD2
Thank you sirphunkee, to do a proper reserch I just ordered an HD2 for .01 at Amazon a few minutes ago. I figure if I have the phone it would be much easier to find a way to solve this problem. Besides for .01 what am I going to lose.
Agreed your answer being moot is correct I do agree. Thanks.
First and foremost, thank you XDA comunity for all of your help!!!
Soooooooo.....
I have been wanting to share my GPS badly.... when I share it using "Share GPS" from the market, I can connect via bluetooth, but it's in and out and not a solid connection (is there something possibly wrong with my bluetooth on my tab, or on my galaxy s phone??)
Anyways, I see an option to connect via USB instead of bluetooth.. my guess is that this would be a much more stable connection when compared to the BT... but, I can not get it to work for the life of me.
Is there a special trick to share my GPS? Any way to do it via USB or maybe even WiFi?
Thank you!! Alex

Which Bluetooth GPS program are you using on the G-Tab?
I see most people on this board reference "Bluetooth GPS" :
http://www.appbrain.com/app/bluetooth-gps/googoo.android.btgps
I actually use "Bluetooth GPS Provider":
http://www.appbrain.com/app/bluetooth-gps-provider/de.mobilej.btgps
I had some issues with the former, but the latter has been rock solid for me.
While I have done GPS sharing with my DroidX, I primarily use an external GPS mouse I picked up on Amazon for about $30.00

Thank you so much for your info!! What the heck do you use a GPS mouse for?
I downloaded the program- "Bluetooth GPS" but when I hit connect, it says "Service Discovery Failed".... any ideas on what that could be, and how
I can work around it?
Thanks again for all your help!!!
did you pair it first?
I'm actually using my old Samsung Epix Winmo phone with GPSGate and it's been rock solid so far.
I can't download either of those. It first didn't show up. I did Market fix. Now, they show up, say they are downloading, but don't. I have tried have the link sent to my email....but it just took to a dead link.....I really want to try this and see it work.....any suggestions....make back up with Titanium and redo the market fix?
Also, I can never get anything to connect....it will say it is paired but not connected.....how do I fix that?

For GPS sharing, it will only say "paired bot not connected". Once the GPS program actually establishes a connection, that may change ...
I too had trouble downloading them from the market. I ended up downloading them to my phone, then sideloading the APK's.
I've attached both of the APK's to this message.
I also suggest you read through this thread... it's all about GPS & tethering:

Thanks for the links, Buddy!
Everything seems to be working now, but now when I load google navigation it gives me an error message say "Google maps is not yet available in your area" lol... have any idea on what that could be?
Thank you!

Thanks for answering! Great idea about downloading to phone and then to gtablet. I still am having problems with the pairing. But, it does this with my Apple computers. Will say that they are paired but not connected. The security verification comes up I accept on both ends....but still no connection. Have tried using Blluetooth DUN.....anyway....appreciate your response....gave you a thanks for the count! :_)
Hi guys.
Not sure if this is the right forum to ask this question in, so if I have it wrong I apologize. So as the title suggests, I need help to get my Samsung Note 3 to passively connect to a HC-05 bluetooth module (tried putting a link to the product manual, but I don't have enough posts to do it yet. My apologies if you need to Google it).
My goal to to have the phone passively connect to the HC-05 in the same manner it would to devices such as bluetooth car kits, headsets and so forth, i.e. to automatically build a connection with the module whenever it is in range. It doesn't have to do anything other than simply connect. At a later stage I will work on sending commands to the module, but for today I just need to sort out this auto-connect problem.
I've tried setting the module to master mode and then binding the module to the BT address of the Note, with the hope the module would actively search for the note and connect to it whenever the note came within range. That approach however that didn't work, and I have again set the module back to slave mode and have been forced to use BlueTerm to build the connection. This has me now believing the connection must be built from the Note, and the module has to be the slave to it, as when I use BlueTerm it works flawlessly every time.
Surely somebody out there can point me in the right direction to accomplish my goal.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
So in the entire XDA brains trust, there's nobody with any idea how this can be done?
Still nobody has any ideas?
Still nothing? Really!???
Hi all, so I wanted to get a bluetooth keyfob to work with my Android 5 phone that would function as a trusted device and keep my phone unlocked while I had it on me.
This obvious choice seemed to be the trackr key chain dongle thingies, small, neat and relatively cheap. Except they don't work. When your not getting constant new device found notifications the thing losses connection and it & the phone no longer recognise each other.
After pockong around a bit it seems that they don't "pair" in the conventional way, maybe thats something to do with it being bluetooth V4?
Anyways I'm looking for something that will work in it's place.
Nothing fancy, no bells or whistles, it's just a gadget to sit there acting as a a trusted device.
Any ideas or recommendations?
All input gladly received.
Cheers all.
