[J7 Prime][G610F D/S] Battery Problem - Samsung Galaxy J7 Questions & Answers

Since I Install AOSP (Resurrection Remix ROM for J7 Prime),
My Phone Battery Stopped Charging Over 77%
The Battery Will drain slowly while charging after 77% (Phone Is In Use)
Tried
- Factory Reset
- Reflash Original Firmware
- Wipe Cache and Dalvik
- Long Charge from Night to Morning (Still 77% - 75%)
None of the one above is working
Is the Battery Problem?
or
The Phone Problem?
( Sorry for my bad English )

If you are on stock touchwiz you should be able to use the built in settings here is the process first turn on airplane mode and turn of wifi bluetooth etc. All the connections,,,,, after that just type *#0228# on your dialer and click on quick start then connect your charger and turn off your phone after that let your phone fully charge before you turn it on,then voila your battery is fixed.
Note: please dont do this procedure so recklessly search on the web for the whole guide,,i would recommend youtube just search for the keyword: secret code for samsung device to hack bettery life,, something like tha. Again dont do this to your phone right away cause it might damage your battery instead of fixing it, and if you found the whole guide on the net follow the instructions strictly

I thinks the problem is with your battery,i also have that issue but in my case when it reached 90% it is super slow on charging. Try changing the battery if the problem still persist i think it is with your phone. And you should avoid using your phone while charging cause it will damage your phone in a long run

Try letting your phone discharge until it shuts down and remove your battery for 10 mins, aftet that put it back on your phone and charge until it reaches 100% then boot your phone

[Q] battery draining please help..

Hi..
I have flashed creeds rom v3.0 on my galaxy fit and it is working super fine but draining my battery... please tell me what to do..
how much batt. backup you got before, and hw much you are getting now??
when im in my stock rom.. i got the bak up for 1 to 2 days even if i use the phone( i barely use my phone only for textiing) but after flashing the creeds rom my battery is going down even if i just opening the menu and browsing it..
for example: when im in my stock rom the battery(100%) stays up to 6 to 7hrs max even if i use it but now it longs for two hours if i use it..
PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO INCREASE MY BATTERY LIFE..
battery life will be affected...
getting 1-2 days on stock is an exceptional case...I never reached a day on a single charge...
and neways, battery is the cost you have to pay to enjoy all the awesome stuff of custom roms...if you want battery, you'll have to sacrifice features...and vice-versa...
if you still want, try these:
decrease brightness to lowest level you are comfortable with...
switch off wifi, bluetooth, gps, 3g whenever not in use for long...
don't use live wallpapers and actively updating widgets, or too many passive widgets...
hope this helps...but you won't be able to get that much batt again...

I don't know for creeds rom v3.0, but I installed Battery Calibration and I do it according to the instructions. Charge the battery until the end (100%). Open Battery Calibration and follow the instructions. Someone has already suggested what turned off. You do and it.

Well you can see my post number,I cant reply on your thread, bro
I did wipe all the things you mentioned and got the same results T___T
Anw, it got better now Wifi is OK but Battery takes such a long time to be fully charged and when I downgrade the phone to 2.2.2 or 2.3.5 v20d (vietnam) , it said "Battery temperature is too low. CHarging will be stopped for battery's health" what ! I've never seen this b4 dude. Is this a strange issue or just because of somethings wrong with the Baseband.

I've never seen this before. Is your battery a stock battery or unofficial?
You can try charging your battery to max (and by that I mean overcharge it by 1-2 hours), then boot to CWM and wipe battery stats. See if it fixes the issue.
And sorry, didn't see the post count

Something's borked with your battery sensor... mine reports accurately. Can't say for sure, but it *may* be a hardware issue.

Did you do a "Fix permissions" from cwm recovery? If not, go to recovery>advanced>fix permissions.
You don't need to explicitly do a battery calibration. It will be calibrated automatically as you use it for few days. Let it drain to minimum and then charge to 100% these initial week. You'll start seeing better battery information after a couple of days.
I don't think you need to worry about your phone if it's not heating or giving you a lot of errors.

no help from there.. maybe i should try a stock rom.. which is the stock rom in india.. stable one? kernel upload sometimes come. but hte phone always get freezed after 5 mins
Latest and most stable is ddlf2 ... The one before ddlf2 was ddkp3.
But for that you'll need to flash xxkpe twice (using all 4 files) using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1133787

If it still freezes after ddlf2 ... and you are still in warranty .. go straight to your nearest samsung service center and let them check it out.
Make sure you aren't rooted then.

You should be able to use the amit bagaria universal root from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1351056
No need to root to wipe data. In case you don't understand, there's stock recovery

Galaxy tab 2 10.1 kernel panic

I really dont know why whenever i do certain light task such as browsing FB. The device reboots itself
I am on a lolipop rom plus it has bootanimation problem (not able to align properly)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2686613
Can anyone help me?
if you're using p51xx series tab and running cm 12.1 there are many users who face this problem, even I did with android andi cm12.1 at certain build, but there are also others who didn't faced such problem. while some works for few, some won't work for others. the best advice from me is, you got to try all the ROMs and see which one is stable for you. candy5 worked for, even blisspop did not rebooted in my case, for others it wasn't worth anything those who couldn't find any stable version of lollipop for their tab have switched to KitKat version or stock. so you really gotta try your luck here. do a clean install, wipe data and check if it still reboots. if already on clean install, there is a little app called ram manager pro try that and keep running app limit to less amount in settings- developers.
Greeting;
I guess its not so easy to remove the battery now uh!? XD
(Joking)
For most boot loops, removing and placing the battery usually solve the problem.
Best Regards,
Richard
Please hit Thanks if this helped you, as it will keep me motivated to continue helping.
Well there is your first problem. I own a galazy tab 2 10.1 p5100 and i use twrp as custom recovery. device is also rooted with all bloatware and useless apps removed, and running lollipop 5.1.1. Dont use cwm on your tab. Flash twrp version 2.8 should be fine then flash superSU via recovery, then clear cache /dalvik cache.. Then reboot device and you should be running fine then

Bootloops are usually kernel related if my memory is correct. Taking the battery out is somewhat similar to the clearCMOS function on a pc.. It just resets everything to default. And a bootloop occurs because of a wrongly configured/bad kernel. So taking battery out (clearing settings) would indeed fix a bootloop in some situations by reverting any changes that were made. But when you have a device that doesnt have a simple pop off back battery cover that easily gives direct access to a battery, then having a bad/incompatible kernel can rapidly become very aggravating especially when you need to reflash until it works properly. Or starting over again.. Not that its hard or anything. Simply just annoying when things dont work as they should the first time, haha .. But anyway, you're right about the battery solution on some devices it works well. It actually also clears the cache when you do that correct? I'm not 100% sure if it does or not, but i assume it would though..

Bad Battery Calibration

Anyone know why my battery not well calicrated?
I never root my s6 and no custom roms installed
I hate when last 15% drain too fast and when restart my device last 1% can survive for about 20min
Does factory reset will help?
Anyone face this problems and successfully resolve this problems?

Try a factory reset, If that doesn't fix the issue then download a stock firmware and flash through odin.
Hi,
As suggested you can try a factory reset and a stock flash. Another thing you can try is a full battery discharging and charging cycle, that is, wait for it to discharge and then charge it fully while turned off, don't know if it still works, was a small trick I used to use on S4.
All the best,

Okay the next thing to try is a new charger and new usb cable, if you still have issues then it might be the battery itself.
