Droid Maxx Photos - Motorola Droid Maxx

Dear Good People,
I am an undergrad engineering student from Bangladesh. I need some unprocessed motorola droid maxx photos as originally saved in the device without any processing done on it.
I need the photos so that I can do some signal processing on the photos for my thesis.
I would be ever grateful to you if someone could upload any random images you took with your phone and upload them in google drive or dropbox and share it with me. Be sure to upload the photos without changing its size or anythinf.
30-50 images would do.
Thanks a lot in advance.
I will really look forward to a reply.

[Q] WinPhone7 Auto-Deleted Photos

My Quantum recently deleted some of my photos and videos.
At the end of August I ran out of room on my Quantum, so I synced with Zune on my PC and set it to delete after copying the pics to the PC. That freed up about 4 Gigs. I took a few more videos and pics and showed some of them to a friend last Thursday and all was well. That evening I took a 5 minute HD video and when I checked the pics by date, all September was gone except 1 pic and the video I just shot. I continued taking pics as usual, and today, Monday, all September pics and videos are gone except for the same single pic from September.
I tried rebooting the phone a couple of times with no success finding my missing photos and videos. The LG 800 help line could only suggest resetting the phone to see if the problem continues to happen and to send it in for warranty if I loose more pics. I would like my pics back !!
* Has anyone else had auto deletion of files or photos from a Quantum or any other Windows Phone7 device?
* Is there anyway to undelete from a Windows Phone7 device?
Thanks - David.

sorry to hear about your terrible experience with the LG Quantum. My wife and I both have the same phone (hers on NoDo, mine on Mango RTM). Neither of us had any problems with losing pictures or videos. The only thing I can think of is the sync options within the Zune Client that may cause such a problem. But this will only happen if the picture/movie has already synced to the PC. If you delete it from the PC it will be deleted from the device and if you have wireless sync enabled you may not even need to have the phone connected via the USB cable for this to happen. To prevent this from happening everything should be set to manual or items I choose in the sync options in Zune under Settings/Phone/sync options.
From what you describe this is likely not your problem though. I am afraid that once the files on the device are deleted there is no way to get them back. See here for a similar problem.
Have you synced with Zune to the PC between now and the last time you did the 4Gb? It is possible that sync automatically synced the files to your PC wirelessly (provided you have that setup). I am sure you checked the PC already...
I would test the problem with some videos that you sync to the device and see if they disappear. Set the sync options to manual (make sure you have a backup of those videos elsewhere on the PC). If they do then certainly something is wrong with the strorage of the device.
WiFi...Maybe
I will double check the WiFi sync. It is possible, although the WiFi sync has never worked before.
I will check it out when I get home...Thanks David.

I thought ours wasn't working either initially until I found out it does when it's on the charger and the battery meter is at least decent. It might take 10-15 minutes sometimes. Often it syncs our phones when we plug them into the charger overnight...
You NAILED it Bro !! There was a sync yesterday and my 'lost' photos were there. I owe you one.
I told my wife that someone on XDA would know; I can't believe I didn't check that first. Two 'techs' at AT&T and one script reader at LG were clueless, but XDA, bingo.
Thanks again - David ;-)
Yeah, I've had similair problems.
I took some pictures at a party and showed them to the friends who were already awake the next morning.
Then some more woke up and they wanted to see the pictures, so I wanted to show the pics to them but they were gone.
Luckily enough I had forwarded the pics by mail to an other friend who didn't stay over, so I could still see them by downloading them from my Gmail account.
I'm positive nobody deleted them because the phone was in front of me all the time, and nobody touched it.

phew!! I am glad you got your photos back. There are not many possibilies and I am glad that the one that doesn't delete the pictures for good is the reason, not the other.
Techs at ATT really can only help with connection problems and folks at LG with hardware problems. I wouldn't hold it against them as it is a software problem. Probably somebody from MS would have asked you to check your sync settings and folder....
Cheers
You guys should consider auto uploads to SkyDrive in the future. I know it doesn't save full resolution pictures, but better than potentially losing something. Besides, there is unlimited space for photos and documents.

Are you sure about this? Documents and photos do not affect the 25 Gigabyte limit?

the other thing is that somebody who takes a ton of pictures with the phone will soon run into data plan limits or has to switch to a premium data plan. and what to do with 4Gb of video? I do not know of a setting on the phone that allows me to ONLY upload to skydrive when on WiFi.

That is coming soon to Windows Live SkyDrive (wave 5). As soon as wave 5 rolls out, Office documents and photos will not count against your storage limit.

[Q] jellybomb galaxy s3 (sprint)

I was hoping I could find some help. I have jellybomb i believe its v.6.0 and i was wondering if I could get a hand with an issue. everything works great until I went into my gallery. All my photos are there, I see the number of photos etc but i cannot see the photos themselves. When im in the camera to take a photo the little display box shows the last photo taken but when clicked on it sends me back to the camera to take a photo. If anyone can give me a hand, I am a bit of a newb in all honesty, I'd appreciate it..Lamens terms are also much appreciated! :silly:

[Q] Google Photos/ Auto Awesome help

So I decided to sync my pictures to my google + account using the new google photos app and I have a few questions regarding this:
1. Does everyone get to see photos that are in my circle, or are the pictures back up there just for my viewing?
2. Is it secure?
3. I was really just hoping to try this out and have some pictures of my x mas tree "auto awesomed". So far nothing happened. Is there anything else I can do to force it?
I guess I am just looking for more information about the whole G+ photo syncing. I didn't like the idea at first, but I do have a lot of android devices and it would be cool to always have access of all of my pictures versus just the ones on the device. Any information / tips would be greatly appreciated.
I was hoping to have some pictures of my Christmas tree turn into a GIF like the one in this link

1. The images are only for you unless you share them
2. It is secure as Google+ photos
3. What kind of auto awesome photos are you trying to get? The snow/tree sparkle ones need you to upload the proper photo. I have noticed that it can take 5-10 minutes for them to appear

Thanks for the reply. I posted a pic of my xmas tree with the lights on and was hoping to get the auto awesome sparkle effect. Guess Google doesn't like my tree
It just seems like it might take awhile for Google to detect my photos and have auto awesome work its magic. I backed up 300+ photos and not one set of similar photos has been recognized.
It's probably safe but I don't like the idea of uploading my camera to a social network, even if they are hidden from the public. So I use dropbox camera upload.

[Q] question:

is it possible of someone to take pictures with any random camera on a smart phone and then somehow introduce the pictures into your personal gallery and make it look like u took them,?...strange question but of real importance to me...thanks phyerstarter

This is not the Creepiest Question i have stumbled across XDA.

Transferring google photo's

So this week, I've been looking at away of exporting my google content over to Huawei cloud and stumbled on to takeaway.google.com which allows me to select what google content of mine I want to export,
I've managed to download all of my photos and save to my device and now I've uploaded to my own cloud - Not sure if this is a commonly known thing but I would 100% recommend it, Depending on how many photos
you have depends on how many zip files it downloads it in.
But now that I have got years worth of photos I feel completely relieved!, however I am now tempted to take the offer on the 2048gb of storage which I think is good value for £60 especially as I can smash it on the wife's phone so that's £58.72 per year....going back to it, I'm hoping that this helps some of you recover your content of google drive and move it over to Huawei cloud.

Thank you for this, i didn't know about this but it sounds simple. How long did it take you and roughly how many photos and videos did it do?
Did you mean Takeout? Or is Takeaway something seperate?

photos wise it was a shed load to be honest, I would say the best part of around 10000 (wedding photos/travel photos/dogs) and video's must of been about 40 ish. it was quite simple really all you need to do is go on the site and select what content off google you want to put in a zip file and let it download.
super useful.

Good question to be honest. I would guess it would depend on the quality originally being uploaded to Google, I would imagine a broad application/usage based Cloud such as Huawei Cloud wouldn't have a need for compressing quality in the same way Google does with their Google Photos and just upload the file pure as is...
If anyone knows for sure then would be interesting to know...

Wow this is epic sounds like such as easy tool for data transfer especially coming GMS cloud storage to HMS software, I wish I knew about this when I did my data dump which consisted of download to desktop and upload to Huawei Cloud which wasn't as painful as I thought it would be.
