Speaker replacement - Lenovo P2 Accessories

How much does it cost, is there any local store?
Just to know it's value.

Aprx after 120 mins speaker got back into work.

My speaker had some issues and I went to the official service centre to get it replaced. It cost me about ₹750.

Will bestbuy give me a replacement?

I have this phone and I bought it in December but now im having some serious problems. First the speaker has blow out, when I call someone I hear this weird buzzing while on the phone, and the wi-fi works whenever it feels like it. Now the question is will bestbuy replace it because it has been over 30 days, but I do have the black tie insurance.

TB Motherboard

I recently was able to repair a water Damaged TB that i bough from Ebay (good ESN +++) and i thought i share a picture of the motherboard, it did have some extensive water residue around the processors and ribbon connectors. All of it was cleaned off using some 91% Alcohol a fine brush and some Canned air.. all works again minus a bad Front facing camera (my fault some how i killed it).
why not just get another tbolt then?

I originally bought this phone to get parts for my TB, When i got the phone it was compleatly dead would not turn on or charge. I did a little cleaning and was able to get it turned but would shut off after a few minutes, that's how i found the front facing camera was working, when i swapped it out with my bad one it did not work but for some reason after a week my old one started working again. So i finished off cleaning the corrosion and checked other components once it was fully alive i tested with my Sim card and was able to get everything working except front camera(note the camera is bad not board i was able to get my other camera working on it). I used it for a full day playing games, browsing, calling peeps and it handled just like my non water damaged TB. So all in all the TB is one Tough Bitch

I guess you're not cut out to be a hacker then. The point of doing it is for the challenge of doing it. There's a certain kind of person that likes to do things just for the sake of knowing it is possible.

Yes to all , I take stuff apart and fix it because I need to know how it works. I could have bought a new one for 350 but were is the fun in that? I bought my TB with a broken screen, lcd and housing and replaced it all, I broke the first digitizer and lcd I bought my fault for over tinkering with it, anyways after a couple of weeks of selling junk on eBay I bought another digitizer and lcd to fix it again, yes I spent about the same or more as buying a TB that was newer but from what I learned so far to me it is greater then the newer one.

And you turned it on instead of turning it off as soon as possible?!
Do what g1user101 said. And don't cheat, you already cheated enough that it's possible you have damaged something.

Actually, wanna add another description, its not totally wet like dropping in a toilet bowl, its soak in. Meaning its near a stupid leaked glass then for 15 or 30 mins, i was busy updating 1.6 for Nexus S, then i noticed its wet and the water managed to soak in the cover,.. So 2-3 days, will it do?

Hopefully that rice thing works.. If something got spanked from the water you may have funky issues even after you let it dry. If you have TEP I would get it swapped out.

Well if your with sprint and have insurance would cost about 100 bucks to have Asurion swap it out. But I take it your probably not with sprint lol.. Rice trick should work. Just let it dry out the best you can.. Sometimes a hair dryer will work just don't cook the phone.. Only time nothing works is when you drop a phone in the lake and try to dry it won't do any good.
You can also snag another nexus s up on ebay pretty cheap. Also probably find someone on the market place on here with one. If your phone doesn't dry out and is messed up.

My phone has water damage.

My device has suffered water damage (cup of water spilled on it) so it isn't powering on anymore. I've tried doing google searches to see how samsung handles these issues and determines if it's a defect. But so far I haven't found anything. Samsung has already created a repair ticket and said it should be covered under warranty but I cant help but be worried. Can anyone share their experiences?

Hi mate
The phone should be water resistant ...... does not make sense that with a little water you have those problems
Check this thread , some people with water problems..

Looking at the thread now thanks! I agree it shouldn't be causing the issues; I've already contacted Samsung and they will do an inspection and determine if it should be covered under warranty. *fingers crossed*

weird.
i passed out in a jacuzzi (under circumstances that need not be examined here) and woke up when the water was cold; probably an hour. my phone was on the bottom of the tub.
the earpiece sounded a bit funny for awhile, but the next day it was fine.
i wonder if it still gets radio reception down there?
