Galileo support - Sony Xperia XZ Premium Questions & Answers

Hi, I bought a Sony XZ Premium (which is listed as Galileo compatible), but I've never seen it to use Galileo. I tried several apps that show the satellites a phone uses and no one displays Galileo is being used.
I tried in Italy, Canada and Poland.
Is Galileo working for someone?
What do you suggest?
Thank you.

[Q] Z3 model differences

Hi all,
I'm looking at getting a second-hand Z3 off eBay UK and noticed that there is the D6603 and the D6653. I'm aware that each supports different bands, but how significant is that in the UK? I see both support 900Mhz and 2100Mhz, is that alright?
Is there any other difference between the models other than band? Does anyone know what the model would be if I was to walk into a high street and purchase one? Just wondering why there's two different models circulating for the UK?

The bands your posted are for phone connection if i am not mistaken, but what matters are the LTE band that the phone supports for data. Meaning that both models gets phone connexion but not both supports the 3G 4G for data. I think the 6653 is missing the LTE band 2 and 4 but gets the band 28 compared to the 6603. You should check if your LTE courrier what band they use.

[Q] Problem with Doogee Dagger dg550e (bought from banggood)

The Doogee Dagger DG550e (although not listed on the Doogee website) is supposedly the version for the european market as it supports 3g band on 900/2100Mhz. I bought it from banggood. They sell both versions, the DG550 (3g: 850/2100Mhz9), and the DG550e (3g: 900/2100Mhz). I received the phone 3 days ago and found out that outside of the city I only get 2g band. I live in Croatia where the 3g band works on 900Mhz (outside of the cities) and 2100Mhz (in cities). I checked with the network operator and thay said that according to the settings and supposed phone specifications the phone should see the 3g when outside of the city, but it doesn't. Only possible answer is that the phone I received doesn't support the 900Mhz. Before I bought the phone of banggood I bought this phone here in Croatia, but returned it when I found out that the 3g outside of the cities is not supported as it was the regular Dagger dg550 (850/2100Mhz). After that I bought the Dagger dg550e of banggod and found out that the phone I received has the same problem.
What can I do? I already contacted the banggood customer service, and I'm waiting for the reply.
Is it possible that the phone lost 900Mhz 3g support after an update. I update the system (it was the regular 4.4.2. but some updates were available, so I downloaded them) before I used the phone in a rural area. Is it possible that the update somehow picked up the settings for the ¨regularˇ dg550 (that doesn't support 900Mhz), and thus I lost the 3g outside of cities
Thank you in advance for helping out
Edit: I've tried mobileuncle and the option for 900Mhz (in bandmode) is unchecked and grayed out (can't check it). I also tried returning the phone to factory settings but it changed nothing
I live in rural Nova Scotia, Canada and I had the same problem. I couldn't connect to my service providers (koodo) 3G service. When I went to settimgs ->About Phone it would say Doogee Dagger 550E. But under the battery It says only Doogee Dagger 550. So I flashed a stock rom for the 550 and got the 3G working. I then had to flash a custom rom to get the camera and gps to work properly. Now everything works and it is a sweet phone. PM me and I will send you a link to the files I used (Drivers, PC Software, ROMS, etc...)

[Completed] Problem with lte on my xperia x

Hello,
I'm actually from Germany, but i find this forum very useful..thats why i hope, you can help me with my problem.
I purchased a Sony xperia x online. Everything works fine except the LTE. It's very bad and unstable. I used an iPhone 6 plus before and there was no problem with lte.
I checked every setting, but everything seems fine.
I checked with the app Lte Discovery which lte band the device uses for lte connection and it said band 20. So i can be sure it has the Lte band 20, can't I?
I also found out on xpericheck that the installed firmware is for devices from switzerland.
So I want to ask you, if it's possible that the device doesn't really support band 20 because it's from another country? I haven't found any model of the xperia x online, which doesn't support lte band 20.
I would give you some screenshot but the forum doesn't allow me to do this.
Thank you in advance

GSM LTE Band 20 support

Hi,
my girlfriend is really looking forward to buy a Mate 9 soon. However she's totally in love with that MOCCA BROWN Variant. Thus this particular color is not available in Germany we would like to import it from China via tradingshenzhen.com.
On their site that vendor lists the device as "not LTE Band 20" compatible. Strangely Huawei themselves don't list any variant which doesn't support LTE Band 20 (800 MHz).
Maybe someone here imported that variant as well and is able to tell me whether that Band is supported or not. You would be a great help!
The shops technical support does not seem to understand my question and only gave me strange cryptic answers...

Dual frequency GPS?

Does the Note 10 have dual frequency GPS?
https://www.xda-developers.com/dual...location-feature-your-phone-probably-missing/
It appears to, yes.
It does. Confirmed by the gpstest app on the link
One similar question:
Could someone please check if your Note10(+) supports Beidou?
My Exynos one does not show any Beidou satellites while the Galaxy S8 does. I thought it did in the past, but I am not sure...
