Bricked Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (GT-P7501), no external SD Card - Galaxy Tab 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys,
I have accidentally brick my friend's Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, it just keeps itself in a bootloop. It's the german version. As it has no external sd card and my stupidity of not backing up before installing a custom rom led to the result that I cannot push/copy another ROM to the device. I used ODIN to flash CWM 5.5 and it doesn't support sideloading. So in other words, I am out of ideas. I am not very used to adb. Is there some way I can push a ROM to the tablet? I have also searched for TWRP for this device but found only dead links (in hopes it would have sideloading).
Can anybody help me out here?

The 10 inch models here are 5113 & 5110
Sounds like more of a bootloop.
Samsung 7501 is a soundbar. Check your model

I mean this Model. It says it's the GT-P7501. Have I gotten something mixed up here?
EDIT: Ok so I accidentally posted in the wrong forum. It's not actually a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 but Galaxy Tab 10.1. Can a mod please move this thread or should I just open a new one?

Install a ROM, any ROM. You can use my guide (link in signature).
Posted from my Galaxy Tab with CM10
the problem is if i connect my tablet to my computer it won't read the tablet.
i already downloaded a rom but how in the world can i put it on my tablet?
thanks for the reply!
Try loading the ROM onto an SD card and then installing it from the card. Unless the tab doesn't have an SD card slot. Then, you may have to use ODIN to restore or something. Not sure.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
yeah i got that part and hate it, i have to go to my gf house to borrow her sdcard reader.
anyway it seems this one is solve. thanks!
hope the rom works

some files are shared but the first one in the method I used is DIFFERENT (and is VERY important you use the right one) and no P3113 and P3110 are not the SAME (if they where exactly the same they wouldn't get different numbers)
use this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1788625 It what I did, only thing I did different was turn on USB debugging before powering down and used a newer build of CWM but it should work the same.
just to be clear, they use the same rooting zip files but require there unique build of CWM to be flashed with Odin so you can flash the rooting zips.
thanks very helpful

do a search for an app called Triangle Away, if you look in here the dev provides a free download but if you get it on the play store its a paid app. I haven't used it but thats what the forum says to use, you only to bother with it right before restoring to stock to take an OTA or when sending it in for repairs so it's not a big deal to worry about the counter.

Hi There.

Hello everyone, I used to have a Galaxy S II I9100. But then something unfortunate happned to it. My weight fell on it. And.. It died.
So I got myself this Galaxy S2 plus. And.. I'm having trouble rooting it. I followed Panda's guide but whenever I tried to flash the CWM via Odin it remains the same Recovery mode..
Oh also here's my old S2:

Also, I'd like to hear recommendations about custom ROM's I'll be sure to test all of them!
Try Babba ROM or PANDAMOMIUM ROM. I like PANDAMONIUM ROM because it's more stable than Babba but it's just customized TouchWiz... So choose between them

Did you follow method B from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=42031487&postcount=1 ? That pretty much always works.
Remember to flash both files, both UPDATE-SuperSU.zip and cwm-permanentor.zip.
Sorry for your lost, but the CWM procedures in this forum work. Remember to flash both as advised by @AmoledIsBetter.

Hi,
You've bricked your phone. Download the official firmware and flash via ODIN (give a try too with a .pit file if not work). If doesn't work, bring to the nearest Samsung Service Center.

ROMS compatible with ATT Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (espresso10att)? SGH-i497

Sorry if this has been posted before. I have successfully install a custom recovery but cant seem to find a good ROM that supports this specific device? Can anyone help? I wanted to use the cm-resurrection_remix but when I installed the one i downloaded it says my device is not supported.
You shouldn't flash roms made for other tab2 variants - it would brick your tab! Happylie you flashed the right recovery and it saved your tab.
Right I didnt flash it. Can you recommend a good ROM that is available for my device. The device is so sluggish with the stock rom even after factory reset and removing a lot of AT&T apps

there is no rom for your device, i think. google it. maybe you have luck.
I'm also looking for any usable rom apart from stock. I have an sph-p500 which is technically the same as sgh-i497 but found no roms at all. any help appreciated. all rom links are broken. I know the device is pretty old but I don't want to shred it.
