Using Odin3 v3.10
I tried to upgrade my Samsung Galaxy SII jelly bean to Lollipop using CM 12 unofficial
Now stuck @ cwm recovery screen.
Its been 2 days already my phone is useless & my head got a hack of problem
I can't access both internal & external sd card via data cable.
I do not know if I rooted my phone either
Will my phone remain like this forever??
Or You guys out here in the forum could help me out of this??
If you could give me a details step by step of how to do, I'd be so grateful
Be it to recover back to Jelly Bean or Lollipop
whichever ways, I wish if this could get alright again.
wanna start all over again
:crying:
Thank you in Advance

Hi,
You've bricked your phone. Download the official firmware and flash via ODIN (give a try too with a .pit file if not work). If doesn't work, bring to the nearest Samsung Service Center.

Hi all
Im a newbie (and a noob by the looks of it)
Based in the UK and own a S2 which has 02 firmware but is unlocked
Connected to Kies last night to update to ICS
They go and brick my phone
My question?
How do I get my S2 back up and running?
At this point I dont really mind what it is running but would prefer ICS
I have ODIN Downloded but I am not sure how to get the ROMS/Firmware
Unzip/Zip the file
And how to get it on my phone
It currently goes into the boot mode when you hold Vol Down/Power & Home key
When powered on it comes up with load emergency jargon and connect to Kies which I have done numerous times to no avail
Any help would be appreciated ;-)
Rooted?
Is the phone rooted? I've never used odin. I have used Heimdall, which is pretty much the same.
Its not rooted
Just want to get it up and running asap
Any suggestions
Here's links for branded and unbranded official firmwares.
Unbranded firmware
Branded firmware
Those threads very clearly explain what you need to do to flash official firmware using Odin. Once you've done that you should be up and running again and can take it from there.
Thanks ever so much
I have a hour free now so wish me luck ;-)
Will report back and let you know how things went
OK Rather confused
All of the info is posted as you have stated but which one do I need to do?
Their are so many their and I dont get this whole root thing!?Do I need to root first?
Or do I not root as their is no need?
No root required to flash the stock firmware.
Sent from my Incredible using XDA
I've gotten my GT-I9100 bricked.
Had successfully flashed Resurrection Remix ICS v2.1 ROM along with SiyahKernel v3.3.1. Everything was working fine until some suicidal impulse gripped me to format the SD card from the settings.
The phone did so, 'said restarting device', and then only the Galaxy S2 logo would appear followed by a back screen; which would flicker now and then.
It refuses to load into recovery mode; I have yet to administer the jig.
Any suggestions on how I might be able to get the phone to boot into recovery mode would be extremely appreciated.
Thanking you for your time.

Try asking here. Everyone there has the i9000 series phone.
Read here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_S_Plus below point 5.2.
Sending off your tab 2 for repairs while still under warranty? Or maybe you are like me and miss changing the TV channel with your tab 2's built in IR blaster. Or maybe you didnt know about it and now want to use it. Any ROM ( besides zap blaster ) wont support the built in IR technology that the p5113 comes with... believe me, i checked. This is especially true for EVERY Rom running 4.2.2
Found a really good step by step guide that will help assist you in returning your p5113 tab 2 completely back to stock.
Obviously, You will lose root, Mods and custom recovery. which is ultimately what you want....Right?
Not to endorse another website, But since no one has really given anything that is remotely close to this guide ( outside of some "mobile odin" guide in the development section ) and im not one for taking credit that doesnt belong to me, here it is http://www.tips4tab.com/how-to-rest...cream-sandwich-with-official-firmware-ueblh3/
Just follow the steps to the best of your knowledge and you will find success in this guide.
Also, after flashing with odin ( Im using odin3_v3.04 ) You might hang up on the Samsung logo after it reboots your device.
All you need to do is go into your recovery and do a factory reset/wipe data, And clear the cache. Then reboot your system.
Go have a cigarette and come back to your device, Then you will have a fully Stock/Factory/Out of the box tablet with OTA updates and all.
Hope this helps someone out there :victory:

No, it wont brick. I was running cyanogenmod 10.1 also using p5110. As long as your model is p5113 it shouldnt matter. And yes you will receive your first OTA on startup and all others in the future.
Hello! Thanks for the tutorial. Let me ask you a question. I have the gt-p5113, it stock firmware was Android 4.1.1. But I did the update to Android 4.2.2 and the "won´t shut off" problem came to my life. Also, i have the tablet "rooted". And my doubt is this: Do i have to, first go back to the original android 4.2.2 (unroot the tablet) and just THEN do the downgrade to Android 4.1.1 or I can do the downgrade to Android 4.1.1 straight from the "rooted" version of Android 4.2.2? (Sorry for my english). Bye!!
i had rooted galaxy s2 running android jelly bean, i tried to install fonts so i copied and pasted all of the windows font to the system/fonts, i then rebooted my phone then it got struck in samsung logo. the phone will go undetected with samsung kies, odin, android commander. i went to recovery mode then i tried kingoroot from which i had previously rooted the phone. the application detected my phone and then i unrooted it assuming it will delete all the fonts. but the problem was not solved and now i cant use my phone, cant root using odin and kingo root also says problelm detected while rooting...have no idea what to do now? can any body help me with this?

Best is to re-flash a stock firmware. This will "restore" the original system partitions.
Then you can re-root it easily by flashing PhilZ-kernel zip file in stock recovery like described here: [PhilZ-cwm6][i9100/P] Stock Kernel+CWM6+Root+exFAT+NTFS-MS3.
Check this thread for stock firmware versions and how to install them to your device: [Stock Official Firmwares] I9100XWMS2 (4.1.2) - Slovenia (MOT) [05-01-14].
