My first problem was trying to reformat one of my SD Cards because it was corrupt so I Rooted my device but now whenever I start my device it goes to the screen where I can to slide to unlock but the Touch Pad is just not working.
I tried holding both volume buttons to try and go in recovery mode but how does it work ?
My Tablet is an unknown model no brand running 4.0.4.
I think I need to do a factory reset but I don't know how.
Any help is appreciated.
1. Shutdwon your device.
2. Hold volume up + volume down + power button until your device boots into recovery menu.
3. choose wipe data/factory reset.
Hope it works :good:

I have been trying that but it wont work, do I have to hold it for like 30 seconds or 5 minutes ?
And btw if I do get into recovery mode how do I click enter (I was there before but I couldn't select things since I only have Power button and volume buttons)
You navigate with volume up and volume down and select with the power button once you are in recovery mode.
Try holding volume up and volume down at the same time and press the power button to get into recovery mode. Or try just holding volume up and then press the power button.

I tried every possibility, I don't think I can go into recovery mode. Is there a way to fix it if I connect to my computer or something ? I can turn on the Tablet and plug it into my PC but I just need a way to do a factory reset or reformat or w/e to remove everything.
You can access recovery with adb http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1853159. Just follow the instruction!

1. With the phone powered off, press the VOL UP + VOL DOWN KEY together + POWER KEY .
2. The device will display different BOOT OPTIONS
3. Use the VOL DOWN Key to SCROLL to Recovery and VOL UP Key to SELECT
Tip: If the device reboots, you may have waited to long to make a selection, you will need to begin the process again.
4. The device will display the Motorola logo and then the Android in distress ( logo with Exclamation mark)
5. Press and hold the VOL DOWN key, then tap and release the VOL UP key.
Tip: You can try this step, holding the phone in landscape. If you are stuck on step 5, try a force reboot by pressing the power Key and Vol Down key, and start the process again.
6. The device will display additional menu options (Text will appear in BLUE)
7. Use the VOL DOWN Key to scroll to wipe cache partition and the POWER Key to SELECT this option.
8. The device will then perform the partition wipe
Many thanks to motorola for this one. Getting some use today.

Cannot get into recovery F350L

Unrooted stock phone phone cannot enter into Recovery Mode by holding down Power and Vol down key. The LG Logo seems to go in a loop with the logo and blank screen and than LG logo going on and on. When I try to adb reboot recovery it takes to red triangle over an android figure and it won't go any farther than that.
I got to get into recovery!!!
Dear ahsanshah. I was able to get into the phone recovery module finally. This is what I did and is the correct method. Hold down the Vol- down key and Power button to power up the phone. When the LG Logo appears release both the buttons and then press both the Vol+ up and Vol- down key together pressed up till the time the phone shows the recovery screen. Then use the volume keys to select the options and the power key to confirm the selection. Hope that this will solve your problem and have your phone ready to be recovered.

Moto G - Followed the RESET instructions, still does not work

Here is what I found for 2nd gen. resetting:
External Reset (KitKat)
If you are unable to access the phone's menu to perform the standard reset you can attempt an external factory reset.
Notes:
When using this feature; everything is deleted from the device.
Reset will require a minimum battery level of 25%. If you are unable to perform a reset, please charge for 20-30 minutes and try reset again.
1. With the phone powered off, press the VOL DOWN KEY for 2-3 seconds then POWER key then release.
5. Press and hold the VOL UP key for 10-15 seconds. While still holding the VOL UP key tap and release the POWER key
Tip: You can try this step, holding the phone in landscape. If you are stuck on step 6, try a force reboot by pressing the Power key and Vol Down key, and start the process again.
6. The device will display additional menu options (Text will appear in BLUE)
7. Use the VOL DOWN Key to scroll to Wipe data / factory reset and the POWER Key to select this option
8. Use the VOL DOWN key again to select YES - delete all user data and press the POWER key to CONFIRM
9. Once the Formatting is complete, press the POWER key to confirm a REBOOT
10. The device will reboot and start the normal power up sequence

button combo for stock recovery

Does anyone know the button combo in the stock recovery to get from the android on back to the menu?
Turn off the phone.
Push volume down and power button.
When logo apears release power button only and press it again. Than keep it pressed.
You should see the factory reset option.
If not - try again.

Thank you for the reply but I wasn't trying to factory reset. I wanted to get to the recovery menu. Usually when you get to the point where there's the green android guy on his back you can hold power down and tap volume up the menu will pop up. It's not working for this phone. Is it different on this phone because of the assistant button?
