Hi, my device baseband version is J330GDXU2AQI2. Now new firmware update is available & i have downloaded it but not install yet. This new update come with baseband J330GDXU2AQK1. My questions is, if i install this update & after that i flash twrp or make other modification and my device become bootloop or something like that, it's possible to flash old firmware? I don't have this new firmware in my pc because it's new and only available at sammobile.
Hope someone will give their opinion.
Thanks.
I´ve update my SM-J327U to Oct 29, security patch Oct then flash normally TWRP without issue.

So recently, i decided to try and update my rooted custom rom galaxy s5. But i don't want to update to 6.0.1 because rooting won't work for my device model and so i would only like to update to 5.1.1. I cant update it through the phone settings because my firmware/rom was modified. I don't want to flash any stock firmware/rom on my device either because then, i wouldn't be able to update my device through the settings in the future. So what would you guys recommended i do?
Correct me if i am wrong. But if i update my firmware through kies right now, it will use the latest 6.0.1 firmware instead of 5.1.1.
my device is currently rooted and i just recieved an update from samsung. i am using a super kernel v1.4 and i would like to update to the lastest version which requires this update from samsung. can i update my device ota or must i download the firmware from sammobile and reflash everything then install everything else again. if i am able to update the phonr ota can i also just flash the new kernel to replace the old one? i want a clean install.
OTA won't work on a custom device (Rooted / Kernel / Recovery), I'm surprised you even got the notification for an update tbh
You'll have to update manually when the firmware arrives as a flashable ROM

Your Odin error is due to flashing older firmware version ( Bootloader)
The firmware you mentioned above is the latest version 3 bootloader so you should be able to flash that.
Latest version firmware is G955FXXU4CRI5 (September with bootloader ver 4) if you want to update to the latest firmware.
Flashing the firmware will replace your recovery.
You can use this to find the latest firmware for your phone

(any tutorial , compatible FW and help will be appreciated if you need some screenshot just ask it to me )
J327w is the Canadian version, which is provided below. You should be ale to use any version.
https://downloadmirror.co/Wyl/J327WVLS2ARB2_J327WOYA2ARB2_FMC.zip
Grab the CF autoroot file for the J327W here: pakfirmware.com/2019/02/samsung-j3-prime-sm-j327w-root-file/
Flash it.. boot loop gone as it rewrites the recovery. Not sure why but most recoveries posted online will not work (bad MD5s) with the latest July 2019 update but above did not for it's exact intended purpose.
sfirmware (website) should have what you're looking for, i wasn't able to flash my J327WVLS4BSK1 oreo 8.1.0 (or 8.1.1?) using the firmware linked to here or other rev 2/3 j327w/t/u builds that i found searching around
cf autoroot 2019/02 j327w didn't work for my device. i used odin 13.3.3 patched version found on this forum to flash my device specific firmware successfully
