hello ill be happy if someone can help me to repair my sm-j327w Firmware im nw stock in download mode ( i had tried to root it but like a newbie it had brick it
(any tutorial , compatible FW and help will be appreciated if you need some screenshot just ask it to me )
J327w is the Canadian version, which is provided below. You should be ale to use any version.

Grab the CF autoroot file for the J327W here: pakfirmware.com/2019/02/samsung-j3-prime-sm-j327w-root-file/
Flash it.. boot loop gone as it rewrites the recovery. Not sure why but most recoveries posted online will not work (bad MD5s) with the latest July 2019 update but above did not for it's exact intended purpose.
sfirmware (website) should have what you're looking for, i wasn't able to flash my J327WVLS4BSK1 oreo 8.1.0 (or 8.1.1?) using the firmware linked to here or other rev 2/3 j327w/t/u builds that i found searching around
cf autoroot 2019/02 j327w didn't work for my device. i used odin 13.3.3 patched version found on this forum to flash my device specific firmware successfully

Hey guys, just picked up my S6 (Australia - Telstra) and looking to flash a custom ROM but keep experiencing frozen boots when trying to get TWRP to work.
Root works fine, tried TWRP app, flashify & odin with no success, the other threads mentioning this problem have me confused with their solutions. What exactly does "AOD1" mean and where can I find updated firmware versions, if some could possible link me to an updated firmware download that would be great.
Also if I'm looking to flash this ROM

Hey mate.
I had the same issue as you, Australia, Telstra. The "AOD1" is referring to the firmware version.
To flash TWRP you'll need to use Odin to install the AOD1 rom which you can download from sammobile.com. I used the New Zealand version. Then use Odin again to flash TWRP, then SuperSU to gain root access.

during the night I have got the LALIPOP 5.0.1 update, now don't know if that was a mistake.
I want to root my thing and I can't find the rooting method for n915f running 5.0.1.

Rooted N915F lollipop
I successfully rooted my N915F running on latest lollipop using this method, just download the cf root 915f files , flash with odin that is provided inside the zip file and ofcourse it will fail, then flashed the latest TWRP 2.8.7.0, in my case i have to make the tar file using cygwin because the tar file is not available on TWRP website instead you will get a img file. After the TWRP is up, i flashed the supersu 2.46

Try to download the original firmware for your phone using the Xperia Firmware Downloader:

Just select your phone model number and the brand, then click in the right side the firmware version.
Later use flashtools to pack the firmware:

And flash the new ftf file with flashtool too.
Sometimes the best way is to download the firmwares manually from the forum and flash it, because some brands don't give the latest firmware to our phones (like mine). With this way, you will have the latest firmware, rooted and with dual recovery just flashing the zip file, but first you have to prepare your phone:
Use this guide to flash the latest rootable firmware, root that firmware and install the recovery:

now my phone stuck on galaxy s8+ logo
i tried to flash and old firmware but then i got device 3, binary 1.
and now im trying to download the right firmware , but im not sure which one i need , can please someone help me.
i know it and august security patch and its maybe g955fXXu3crgh(im not sure its this one).
and im missing recovery on my device

Your Odin error is due to flashing older firmware version ( Bootloader)
The firmware you mentioned above is the latest version 3 bootloader so you should be able to flash that.
Latest version firmware is G955FXXU4CRI5 (September with bootloader ver 4) if you want to update to the latest firmware.
Flashing the firmware will replace your recovery.
You can use this to find the latest firmware for your phone

Sorry for a N00b thread, but I saves me posting later with "help Ive bricked my phone " thread
I have an S7( SM-G930F) Exynos ( UK ) with a old rooted ROM G930FXXU1DQD7
It also has TWRP ver. 1.19
I really think I need to update to a newer ROM.
Orignally I wanted to use BATMAN ROM ( purely as I love Batman ) But I see that is now EOL.
So I thought I would use SUPERMAN as it seems to be a very well received ROM
My issue is this:
I understand I need to use TWRP ver. 3.0 , and to use that I need to get new BL and CP . There are links for the files, but I cant find a BL for my old ROM. ( I take it I should be using a BL with the same build as my ROM )
Do I need to use the Latest BL and CP for S7
I am getting my info from :

If you can give me any advice id be grateful
BL and CP you can just take from official firmware, so if your old ROM is 7.0, you can just download the latest 7.0 version from somewhere like sammobile.com or updato.com, and flash only the BL and CP files using Odin.
