RHA dacamp l1 not working on s8+ .... ? kinda is ? - Samsung Galaxy S8+ Questions & Answers

Hello !
So im a bass lover, and i got these amazing v moda m100 aira edition headset.. Now, these are bassheavy headset and when i plug it to my phone the bass isnt punchy, hardly kinda not noticeable.. Now, here is where the rha dacamp comes in, holy **** does the headset shake !! Now, the rha dacamp does work with my s8+ when i got a usb 2.0 female to usb c adapter plugged to my phone, and then a male usb 2.0 cable from that adapter and microusb to my dacamp. But, when i do this my phone charges the dacamp.... I can only listen to this good **** for 2 hours and my phone will run out of battery..... annoying, a message do pop up " usb charging connected device " tap for other options, now i have tried them all and nothing really happens.. it keeps going back to " charge connected device "... I also tried enabling developer mode and enabling " audio source " but still no luck. ( yes the adapter is OTG , so is the cable , i also tried WITHOUT otg ) So then, i tried a OTG usb c to micro usb, i bought 4 different ones.. 1 from china , 1 high quality here in norway, cost me 20 dollars , 2 kinda ok cables from 2 other online sites in norway.... no luck.... PLEASE HELP !!!!! RHA DACAMP l1 |1 does work on my pc using male usb 2.0 from my pc to micro usb to my dacamp.. Thank u for any answers !!!!!

[Q] HP Touchpad OTG support works great but..

Hi:
i bought a solar powered 4 port hub + otg cable..
using chainfires stickmount , this setup works perfect but
i search high and low :: why hasnt the hacker gurus replaced the F usb end
w/ a male micro end to eliminate one cable?
if i was smart, i wouldda ordered an extra otg cable and tried it..
the hub and cable took almost a month to get here so i cant just hackup the only cable i have
thanx
because otg cables are not designed to work only with the TP, but several devices, and since some of them send power thru otg, there is no need of powered hub.
accidental dbl post please delete
HPTP does require power to a hub , which i have.
i dont have any questions why.
my question is how.
i dont know what youre trying to say really.
I've been thinking of making just such a cable myself, if I'm right the TP end would need to have pins 4 and 5 shorted while the other end would be wired normally. I have a ZTE MF60 mobile wifi hotspot which also has a micro sd card slot and can be used as external storage but only wired, not wireless.

going from a very vague memory, when they hack up cables it seems like ppl short out pins 4&5 on the other end (non touchpad) end .. i could not be anywhere atall sure about this tho... like the otg cable right out of the box,, does the female usb end have pins 4 and 5 shorted together?
so hptp side is non modified micro male end;
other end is modified mini male end..
i would be verry interested if this ever gets done..to shrink up cable clutter hugely .
thanx

Does it work charge and enable usb host at the same time? The current one i have acts weird, if i leave tablet alone, usb plugged in host mode as adopted storage my k1 charges, but if i start using it, even on light usage, battery discharges even if it indicates it is charging
Haven't tried it yet. I'll let you know ASAP when I've tested it.

USB OTG and Y cables?
Sent from my SHIELD Tablet K1 using Tapatalk
Okay, they one I've got is damaged. Gotta send it back.
The ones Exile suggested I've one of them. Though, they connect all to big female USB! So you'd need another USB cable (Big male USB to micro male USB for the tab).
I've been using this one, and it works pretty well for charging and using OTG at the same time. But it won't recognize USB devices unless the charger is plugged in, probably because it has a built-in hub.

Thank you for the replies and suggestions, looks like the one im gettting is the same one by @primaleph
Y OTG cables do NOT work with the Shield. I tested a bunch and it's either charging or gamepad but never both simultaneously.

Well actually they do, very2 slow, i hooked the OTG i bought to my charger, my tablet and my printer, then started doing some typing work while listening to some tracks on spotify max volume and at about 20% brightness,, after i finished and checked my battery it went up from 95 to 97, also tried the same with a usb attached, so for light loads it does charge but for gaming, even i lose charge when playing games such as vain glory while the tablet is directly charging so im sure its still gonna drain but probably not as fast as not charging at all, or another thing is not all OTG Y cables are configured the same me and @primaleph just got lucky with the ones we got and yours are probably the not compatible ones
A printer?
Anyhow, it doesn't show the lightning symbol if two devices like charger and gamepad are simultaneously connected. Whereas, using just one of the devices works.

Yeah i use an app called printershare, it allows me to use printers directly via usb connection cause i still own those old printers with no wifi connection costs 10 bucks for the license though, i tried with my old usb gamepad and it also charges and gamepad works, i think you need a more powerful charger, i use a tronsmart quickcharge 3.0 with a 2nd port with a max of 6.5V 3amp output which i use to charge it in OTG mode, 5V 2amp chargers should work but sometimes the power cuts out on The devices being connected, happened to me while on a boat trip, boring 2hr ride, me and GF wanted to listen to some music but we both own over the ear headphones not those little earphones, i charge my shield with a powerbank that provides 5V 2A output, plug it in the OTG and use a usb soundcard with with two audio jacks so we both could listen and throughout the trip there are times the soundcard would lose power which was pretty annoying,
Heres a screen recording where it is charging and i attach devices one by one to my shield tablet

i bought this one , it work not enough quick and don t know if i did well,
i use mode 1 , plug hdd then plug charge, in video they use mode 2

[Q] Wireless charging + USB C audio? (without the official USBC audio adapter)

Hello, I've bought this phone 1 week ago and it works really nice.
Some things I really don't like, like the chinese ROM (which I'm waiting for the unlock to switch to global) and the fact that we don't have the 3.5mm headphone jack.
I know that the phone comes with one adapter, but it might get damaged in the long run (the cable is not sturdy enough). I tried an USB 2.0 sound card connected to the phone using a USB C to USB 3.0 OTG adapter, but by doing that, the wireless charging stops.
In fact, anything that I plug in the OTG cable will stop the wireless charging.
So, I want to know if those cheap USB C audio sound cards will behave like the official USB C adapter, or they will stop the wireless charger.
Also, are those USB C passtrhu cables with a sound card working in this phone? Because with that, I could plug a wall charger and also get the headphones.
BTW, I know I could use BT, but thats not my idea.
Any feedback will be appreciated,
Thanks!
I think those audio jack/usb c cables should work.
The phone probably stops the wireless charging because the phone cant supply and get charged at the same time.
By using those cables you use the data pins for audio and the power pins for charging so it should work.
If you want to test this theory out use the original usb dongle and put it on the wireless charger.
The official headphone adapter is analog without a dac so it is not a usb device as such. It must use a dac already in the phone. Wireless charging works fine with it. I can confirm the plugging in a usb card reader stops wireless charging though.

Galaxy tab s5e wired headphones and disk on key

Hello,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab s5e with official rom and latest updates.
This tablet doesn't have a headphones jack, only a single USB type c connector.
It comes with an adapter to connect the headphones to the USB port.
However, I am trying to connect my headphones as well as a disk on key at the same time. Each work separatly just fine.
I bought a couple of types c splitters but can still connect only one device at a time. It seems like these suppliers support a single device and a charger.
Can any one help?
Best scenario is if I can find a way to connect 2 sets of headphones (3.5mm or type c are both fine) , disk on key and charger at the same time (simultaneous charging is nice to have). I don't want to use wireless headphones. I would like this for traveling so the smaller the solution the better!
I see there are a lot of type c hubs with various connectors but I don't know if they can do everything I want and if they will work with my tablet.
Any help would be truly appreciated!
Thanks!

car tablet required... suggestions please

so i compete in a car audio budget limited class in the UK
i am looking for a hens tooth i think
so my requirements are ideally 7-8" tablet with usb ideally c so i can use my usb c hub with a topping D10 dac and also use usb audio player pro to get bit perfect output from the tablet via the topping D10, along with insert usb sticks in the hub to play music from (i have a usb extension lead to a panel mount socket on the centre console so i can hide the hub
under 150 if possible, but if the usb c causes grief at this price point i can go to micro usb as long as the device supports charging and otg at the same time
so far i have tried a galaxy tab a 10.1 t510 which did work, but was a bit too big, i have also tried a lenovo tab 4 plus 10" and this also works with my u green hub and the topping D10, however both were too big and i wanted a more compact tablet
i also had to modifiy the wiring to the hub with a relay on the power side of it to prevent the hub draining the battery while the tab is in standby overnight
so i then have in my possesion a amazon 8 hd plus... how simple is it to make something that works? so if i plug my hub in i can get music from the topping into the car, if i plug the charger into the hub i cant get the tablet to charge (sort of although it was very slow if working at all) via the hub like the samsung and lenovo do.... if i unplug the hub and plug it back in it then charges and i cant see the topping... i did kind of find a solution, if i plug a micro usb charger into the hub with a wireless charger on the end and connect the topping the topping makes sound, and also then position the wireless charger at the rear of the tablet i can get sound and also charge... however it didnt seem to want to go past 42% so i suspect the amazon is going to be a fail and get returned, its ideal at 110 quid or whatever it cost
i understand most samsungs with micro usb will actually charge and otg at the same time, so a tab a 8" 2019 would be a solution i think... but now ive bought 3 tablets and an ipad (these do solve my issue but i need an ipad mini 2 16gb without a knackered lightening port... got one off ebay that wouldnt charge already... but they do give bit perfect output but cant use a usb stick for music input... hence the android tablet still appealing)
any suggestions for my requirements are welcomed!
basically 7-8" devices with usb c that will work with my hub, or micro usb that support otg and charging at the same time
for daily use i will also use my iphone XR 256gb into a second topping D10 as i can then get bit perfect tidal stuff, and store it on the device as signal can be hit or miss around my way
