yup

Battery don't need calibrate, Android need calibrate files about usage. So if u want calibrate battery stats/files discharge phone to 5% and after charge to 100%. Is recommended not use phone when is charging. After full charge reboot phone and u will have calibrate files, your usage is calibration. Sorry for my English

I just had a warning that my battery is at 15% with out shutting down. Something is wrong on your setting or your app that you are using. My device will not shut down unless it is 0%.. I just want to give you the information on my device and don't have any fix for your device.. Good luck..
Others who had similar problems let the tablet rest with a drained battery for some hours, then recharged, and it somehow recalibrated the battery estimations.

Charging time

Hello, I have bought rooted htc sensation and am very upset with it's charging time, it takes about one hour to charge 10% of battery. Example today I started charging it at 7:05 when it had 49%of battery. Now it's 11:06 and battery shows 88%. I know it's not normal. Is there any way how to fix it, or maybe test my phone somehow? Should new battery solve this problem?

Try deleting battery stats in recovery, this can lead to misreading. Also, usually the battery is higher than the percentage shown, just reboot your phone and you'll see how much battery is left (one time it showed me 2% when I actually had 45%, but that's because I put my phone in a -20C freezer).

Try the 'battery calibration' app on the play store, I believe it can do this. But keep in mind that the battery an lose it's calibration with time, and even if uncalibrated, it will last about the same (although the OS starts saving at 30%).
Battery calibration didn't helped. But I noticed strange thing:
My friend also has htc sensation and his battery fully charges in 4hours. I exchanged my battery with him and charging time is same! He fully charged my battery from 14% to 100% 4 hours and my phone still charges very slow. I started charge his battery from 44%, at first it was charging very fast, but after 4hours it charged only to 88%. I rebooted phone and then it showed 100%. Where is the problem? My phones charges very slow with any battery. I don't want to reboot it every time to show 100%

Change ur charger ( wire and adapter ) as I also faced that on by note 2(charger only 10% in 1 h) and when I changed by charger it started to charge like hell , then I realised that it was the charger fault(even if it original charger) and not phone

What ROM do you have? Is it stock or other? I need about 2:30 to be filled in A1-7 4.3 ROM ... Have you tried the USB and what are the results? Maybe make some other rom, so if you do not work fast carge, change the charger and battery

I got the same "problem" but only with custom roms, stock rom doesnt have this problem for me.
But after a reboot the battery shows its actual percentage.

Here they say that it takes about 2-3 charge that showed the true condition of the battery

Wiping battery stats won't help you.
Put your phone to charge overnight, discharge it completely. Do this for a few days.
Do not wipe battery stats, or you'll have to go all over again.
Happy to help.

Phone not charging beyond 92 percent

I have a Samsung Galaxy A7 (A700FD) rooted with Android 4.4.4 on stock rom
the battery used to charge fully upto 100 percent until day before yesterday, but from that day it refuses to go beyond 92 percent.
I tried calibrating the battery using the apps available on play store...also tried manually deleting the batterystats.bin file to no avail.
also tried clearing cache from recovery .but no use
Here is a graph of the charging process.
Also tried various chargers...I also charged my other cell using the current charger...and it charges normally...it is a 2a charger..

batterystats.bin don't do anything with battery percentage, deleting it won't affect anything at all. It only contains which apps are consuming how much percentage of battery and it resets everytime u plug in your charger and your battery might be getting old.

I know that ...but I had to do something. ..If you know any other ways please suggest me...
I have already tried the following. ..
1. Clearing cache partition
2. Fully discharging it withough disturbing and then letting it charge fully... (only goes till 92)
3. Can't remove battery. ....non removable battery
4. Deleting batterystats.bin file and using battery calibration apps.
5. Kept it overnight for charging
Here's the latest graph of charging process with 2a charger ...
charger and cord both came with the box
I didn't disturb it while charging...Idk why charging process is so uneven...
tried charging other cells like s3, xperia u with it...They charge normally
please help

No... It will be ok after the phone has run out of battery and charging it again will restore the state of battery. But it will not get full if you use it rapidly while charging, then you have to use the phone again until the batteries level reach 1-3 % so that it restore the battery state.

Hi. Use your phone until the battery drained to 0% and switched off automatically. now let it breath for few minutes and after few minutes, charge it while it is in switched off, leave it for 3 hours let it charge until full, and don't switch it on in the middle, see if it is successfully charging completely within three and half hours. Hope this helps. Jai Hind!
Try disconnecting charger, turn off phone, then connect charger again and let it get to 100% before turning phone on again.

If you don't mind voiding your warranty you can open your phone, disconnect the battery and reconnect it. That's what I did when I had the same problem, but I would advise you to look up instructions on opening the Nokia 3 if you're going to do that. Otherwise you might have to go to Nokia support

It still reads 70% but gradually comes up to 74% finally but 100% yet. Any other options I can try please?
I just discovered something. It's whenever my phone enters recovery that the battery reading gets messed up so this is what I'm going to do: next time my battery falls down to say 3% I will boot to recovery and let the phone run down from there. Maybe when I start charging again the problem will be resolved
Update:
It worked. I let my phone run down till it shut down on its own then I booted into recovery. Interestingly twrp kept showing the battery as 50% even though I'm sure the battery percentage was much lowere. I'm guessing the twrp is not reading the battery well or even at all. Anyway I waited for a while before powering off the phone then charging. My phone finally reached 100%
When should we release the buttons in recovery mode ?
It worked
Guys, I followed the thread and it worked for me. I have been experiencing the same issue.
To fix it did the following:
Let the phone run out of energy
Wait some 10 minutes
Connect the phone to power and run the wipe caché instructions
Let the phone charge completely till 100%
I experienced the problem of not reaching 100% on energy (just 80%) for 2 days. Then I found the post. Fixed it.
Thank you!

After calibrating finshed remove charge cable then use your phone to (0) then "keep phone off" and charge again to 100%.
