[HELP] LG G4 randomly shuts down when not using! - AT&T LG G4

Hello XDA!
Bought a G4 H810 from Aliexpress, and it has a problem from day 1 itself.
It randomly shuts itself down when you leave the phone for like 3-4 mins in idle state.
It works like a charm when I'm using it for any task like calling, watching movies, browsing etc.
Software info:
Android Version: 6.0
Android security patch level: 2016-06-01
Baseband version: MPSS.BO.2.5.c3-00109-M8992FAAAANAZM-1
Kernal version: 3.10.84
Build number: MRA58K
Software version: H81020o
Security software version: MDF v2.0 Release 2
Everything is stock, not altered anything.
Troubleshooting done till now:
Tried safe boot, same issue persists
Tried factory reset, same "
Called the LG support, they told to ship it to them for repairs but have to shell out shipping cost from India to US and back.
Pls help!

Thats hardware failure. It’s common. Only fix is board replacement. Return the device.

That problem of random shut downs was cured for about 2 weeks by using a Wakelock app from Play Store.
But yesterday, my phone while casual usage got high temperatures and whoa! Bootloop
Yes, the phone was bought refurbished 4 months ago. I contacted the LG support and they said phone was manufactured this Jan '17 (suspicious that they still make this) and said no problem, just ship it to them. But being in India it will dig my pocket to send and receive it back from their US repair centre.

What are the ROMS of your Touch Pros?

Bought mine in the Philippines a few days ago.
Looking at the Device Information it says this:
ROM Version : 1.90.707.4 WWE
ROM Date: 08/23/08
Radio Version 1.02.25.19
Protocol Version: 52.33.25.17W
Curious which ROMS are giving problem free performance
I've only had mine for a few days, during the first 10 hours, I encountered a garbled Touch Flo Screen. But going into windows mobile is clear...just the Touch Flo sections. A soft reset cleared that and it never happened again. (hopefully never again )
So far...no other problems.

[Q] Rebooting and dropping data?

I am on my 3rd Thunderbolt, all have had a rebooting problem, and 4G has had a couple problems among skipping in and out of connection. Anyway- this 3rd phone I got (their answer is to overnight me a refurbished phone everytime?) this one worked excellent, it arrived 3 weeks ago with the 1.13.605.7. Worked perfect until 1 week ago, random reboot every other day. Last two days have been twice a day and I have been losing data every other day or 1X here and there. My question is- does this mean that is has to do with the phone or not? Why would a switch do the trick- only to take a dump again out of nowhere? Reading everyone's issues it seems their is a hit or miss on this device. Do I return this freaking thing again or return it to Verizon and call straight up fraud on their part for releasing a phone they knew wasn't working consistently or with any of the capabilities I paid for. The phone is awesome when it works. Not knowing if your phone is rebooting your alarm away, or even going to be on in the morning is unacceptable. What is wrong with this phone?
MR2 software should be coming out soon. I would wait for that before trying another phone.. its a software issue, small percentage but you could very likely end up with the same problem.
Really there is not much you can do but ride it out.

Is your phone completely stock (not rooted)?
Completely stock, haven't touched a thing... that's why I am confused my it is so inconsistent. One day it is fine, the next day it is rebooting every 4 hrs. in the middle of a phone call and dropping data for an hour. The thing I really can't grasp- If it is a software issue, then why does it work fine, and then crap out. Something is changing and it definetly wasn't/isn't the software?
2.2.1
baseband: 1.16.00.0402w_1
kernel: 2.6.32.21-gb05544a [email protected] #1
build: 1.13.605.7 CL341545
software: 1.13.605.7

Sounds like my phone, almost. I get reboots every other day or so. Speaking of MR2 updates, any word on when the next one is going to be? I just got the 1.13.605.7 within the last 2 weeks, & apparently that had been out for quite some time beforehand. Any help would be grateful.
It must just be a small percent of phones, I'm running Tesla Coil with the Mr1 radio and I haven't had any reboots

[Q] HTC HD7 Update

Hi
This is my first post here. I've been a member since I bought an HTC Touch HD. Now using an HTC HD7 on T-Mobile USA.
I was wondering if anybody else on T-Mobile USA recieved an update on their HD7 this past weekend. I tried searching for the details but I couldn't find anything documented anywhere.
This is the second update I'm recieving after the Mango update. First one was on November 18, which enabled Internet sharing. With this weekends update I don't see any additions other than a problem with Wifi connection, which fails to keep connected and doesn't sync with Zune over wifi. This issue started after this new update.
Is there anybody else who received this new update?
EDIT: Following are the current phone specifications after update. I know for sure the OS version hasn't changed.
OS version: 7.10.7720.68
Firmware revision number: 2250.21.51004.531
Hardware revision number: 0002
Thanks

Yea, I just hooked up and got the same notification. Downloading now. May report back later if i see anything different.
The last update was kinda buggy especially with the lock screen acting weird (jerky sometimes, screen would be glitchy)
DUECES!

Wifi will not enable

I took in a GX2 on trade. This phone is approximately 1 year old and has never been rooted or modded to my knowledge. When I try to enable the wifi it displays Turning on.... and greys out but never turns the wifi on. Not sure if this is a hardware or a software problem and could use a little bit of help trying to figure this one out. I am not at all experienced with rooting or modding phones, I actually got this one to fiddle with and try to figure out modding.
I have tried powering the phone off and then back on, no dice. I have also done multiple (as in more than 10) full factory resets via the privacy menu factory data reset, and again no dice.
Phone details:
Model # LG-P999
Android Version: 2.3.4
Baseband version: M6600A-SCAUTNZ-2.0.9720T 1 (March 11 2012 10:00:00) MP: TRULGE_08.09.02R_mdm
Kernel Version: 2.6.32.9
Build number: GRJ22
Software Version: LG-P999-V21y
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Try holding vol+ and then power buttons down until the phone reboots.

I did manage to root the phone and then take it back to 2.2.2 last night. Still no luck with the wifi and it says error now when I check the wifi on/off button under wireless and network settings. I did find someone who said they had what sounds like a similar problem with a different phone caused by a problem that developed with a corrupted 2.6.32.9 kernel. So Im thinking I may try to fix that since I really dont think I have much to lose at this point.
Not exactly sure what I did but everything is working again. After restarting 2.2.2 multiple times it started the wifi module but then when the battery died (my fault the power cable came undone in the night) it went weird so I went back to 2.3.4. Everything works fine (for now) so we shall see what happens.
I will probably be digging around in these forums looking for things I can learn and do with this phone. I really appreciate having a good place to start learning what this thing is capable of and how to go about modding. Thanks everyone.
Help me
Seems any time i flash an ICS or JB rom on my g2x the wifi stop working but resumes and work fine when i flash GB. My baseband is March 2012. Any help guys?

[Completed] Awful Battery Life on Nexus 6

Phone: Moto Nexus 6
Android: 7.0
Build: NBD90Z
My phone has been fine since I updated to android 7 in October of 2016 but in the last 2 weeks it is a battery hog now. I have already tried messing with lots of settings and even performed a factory reset. Currently it shows that the android system is using 30% of the battery and the screen is only using 14%. I have not changed any of my normal habits so I am not sure why this occurred. Since the factory reset the only apps I have installed are Firefox, Signal, Steam, and the default google apps. I see that 7.1.1 is available but I am not sure why my phone has not updated to that version or even a newer build of 7.0. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Please help me
Thanks

Hey buddy...
Android system using 30percent is considerably high but what is your overall usage duration prior to two weeks and now? screen is only using 14% if your screen on time is less....
how old is your phone?
also there is an article mentioned in XDA regarding to boost your battery life... again battery life is an individual expectation....
