How many of you have updated your Mi A1 to the November update and what are the noticable changes which you all are facing? I am noticing a better battery life after the update as the doze feature is working very well on my phone.
When did you update? The update came out less than a day ago so I wouldn't trust any comments on the battery life yet.

Simply head over to apps, on the top right click on the menu dots and select "show system", scroll down to locate Google Services Framework, click on it, select storage then clear data.
Go back to >> About Phone, System Update, and you should now see the update.

I have installed this update and I have noted that the poor and annoying audio quality while recording videos using the camera app due to noise cancellation is now gone and am able to get normal audio on videos I record with the default camera app or any other third party camera app.
Now if they can only add the screen flash in their next update for the selfie pics since the phone lacks a front facing LED flash for low light selfies.
im having Gcam hdr+ problems with this update , random Fc , black and white front camera under low light .
tested all versions of the app and no fix, its the update.
when we can ger android 8 for this device?

Hey guys, i have a problem. 2 days ago my camera suddenly dissappeart out of my app drawer. Its still listed under all apps and active apps in the settings but anywhere else its gone.
In the morning i took a photo and in the evening it was gone. Funny to me is that when I open whatsapp and want to take a photo it shows me the front cam but no back cam. I even installed other camera apps such as camera360 and so on. Only frontcam is working. There isnt even a FC or such, its just gone.
I am running stock (it was rooted but i flashed the full stock img trying to fix it)
If the question comes up, i did not delete or deactivate it nor was an update installed. I even tried other roms but no cam. Factory Reset etc nothing seems to work.
Rom full stock 5.0.1.
Yesterday i called LG support as I didnt buy it from Google directly but the guy on the phone was no big help, he was more confused than I am right now.
In conclusion its like someone took my phone appart and while reassemble he forgot to put in the cam ---just for clarification, this didnt happen!!!
Has anyone a tip or suggestion what I can do?

Nothing, in Playstore it shows installed so in the Apps. But in the drawer its still missing and in whatsapp only frontcam is available

Why would you rma it when you can flash the factory image and get it back as a worst case.

If you would have read the opening post you should know i flashed the stock img, tried 5 different roms...nothing.
BUT, i have a little update. theres a 4k camera here on xda LCamera is the name, this one is working. At least its now.

Still it seems funny that the NU Player has something to do with the camera.

Well...Phone was to LG RMA, almost every little thing was repaired (new case, new display, new speaker and vibration) but cam is still or better again missing.
It worked for the first two days after the. RMA but then it went missing again.
The RMA document states that it was repaired or better the flex cable of the cam was repaired.
Any ideas?
Hi while writing this post my phone is upgrading to Android 9. I'm in India . I'm sure more of us will get it too. Let's share here what's new in Android 9 for vivo nex.
I am currently downloading as well, situated in Denmark.
I did change region to india in settings and activate vpn through india before going to bed however, so I cannot say if this made some difference...
I noticed camera has more features under ai face beauty option but sad is 24mp snapping is removed from vivo nex camera . Other changes are mostly UI based.
Here in Belgium we also receive the Pie update now...

I am downloading in Poland (EU) without any VPNs and region changes. Here is, in the end Android 9 will give the Global version without a combination.

Use Autonotification app. Removes the red line and many other messages that you don't want to see.

I'm not happy with the dark mode it is not absolute black instead grey it is. So it is not going to help in saving any battery. Only it will be less stain to eyes at night. I still miss my 24mp camera in vivo nex.

The Nex battery life is so good it doesn't matter. I'm just happy I'm no longer blinded every time I open the phone.

proximity sensor will never be fixed by software update..
usually proximity not working if u use some case which cover proximity, and if there is a particle of dust.

That is not true. Before update to 10.3.6.0, on 10.3.5.0 (if good remember), my MI MIX 2S proximity sensor worked very well. I could even change the sensitivity in test additional tools and see differences in sensor reaction. It turned off screen even if I hold phone 0,5-1 cm from face, without touching him. Now setting up sensitivity dont change anything. I must place and keep finger on sensor for a few seconds to change the value from 5.0 to 0.0. But it works only 2-3 times for 10 trays, and only with finger placed perfectly on sensor. Zero reaction if I put and touch phone with face.
Before update to 10.3.5.0 it doesnt work, like now, and after even earlier update to 10.2.?.? it worked correctly. So this proof that problem is in software, not in hardware. I think some updates (maybe only security updates) reset sensor calibration setting or set up permanently on minimum value.
This is really annoying... I am more and more afraid to update the phone because there is still a lottery or the sensor will work or not after the next update...
If you want change proximity sensor sensitivity:
SETTINGS -> ABOUT PHONE -> tap 5 times on KERNEL VERSION -> in right top corner tap on three dots -> ADDITIONAL TOOLS -> 11. PROXIMITY SENSOR -> and here you have slider, default set to 0 db.
Hi there, for 5 dass im now trying something top get my proximity working again.
Only solution i found was to root and use "xposed sensor disabler" app. App "proximity Sensor Fixiermittel" play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiledirection.proximitysensorreset worked just once, cant remember whick Update was flashed.
Anybody anyhow fixed it?

Music is breaking up randomly when playing via bluetooth. No matter if screen is on or off.
Device: New A51. Software is up to date - A51FXXU1ASL6/A515FOXM2ASL6/A515FXXU1ASL3 - Security patch level December 1, 2019
Same on all apps Spotify / Play Music / Youtube and on all bt devices samsung soundbar / Android Auto / JBL charge 3
I have already disabled battery optimization and made sure apps are not in sleeping mode. Also been through the network setting reset stuff.
Any suggestion?
It's a firmware problem, I had the same exact version. Just wait for the new OTA (it should be released in the next days for Europe) or flash a firmware from another country through Odin (official firmware won't break Knox, that's what I did).

Same here, didn't work. In fact tried all bluetooth related settings in dev options. Actually, I had no clue what I was doing but anyhow nothing solved my issue so far.

I just got the U2ATA8 update and I can confirm that it fixes the Bluetooth issue as well as addresses the awful performance issues it had.

What kinda bugs are you experiencing?
Clearly t-mobile fix the gesture bug. I don't use the nav keys but the swipe gestures would sometime not respond before the update and now it works properly

Good to hear. My T-Mobile V60 is supposed to arrive tomorrow. I'm pretty pumped for it to get here
Facebook still crashes on fullscreen. Update seems to fix Instagram crashing on the left screen. Gesture navigation still has to be set everytime you reset.

I had to do it manually. Try going to settings, system, update center, system update
