Just hit my US Bluetooth model. Version 3.0.0.1 S3 Frontier. Took about a half hour to install.

Just received an update notification for the Gear app. It updated then I decided to check manually for the S3 update and it started downloading. It said nothing about tizen 3 so I searched online and here I am.
Update is taking a good 15 minutes. Looking forward to using Google Assistant on this for a better experience.

Bluetooth transfers got slower...
First contact with phone now has a pending time...

Gear S2 App store missing watch faces on Galaxy S7 Edge

Hello everyone, I'm running into a weird issue with the Gear App store. When I had my Gear s2 classic paired to my Galaxy Note Edge, I was able to see the Snoopy watch faces and some of the Gear O'Clock watch faces as well. I could download them and use them on the watch with no problems. I just got the AT&T Galaxy S7 Edge yesterday and paired my Gear S2 classic to the phone. But when I go to the Gear App store, none of those watch faces appear at all. They don't show up when I search for them using the search feature either. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Gear Manager plus factory resetting the Gear S2 Classic as well. When I pair the watch back up to the Galaxy Note Edge, the same Gear app store lets me see the Snoopy and Gear O'Clock watch faces and download them with no troubles. Any idea whats causing this?

The problem is that Samsung forces developers to manually update their apps to support the Galaxy S7 lines. The mentioned devs haven't done so. Samsung may do it for them shortly, but if you want to get those apps/faces quicker, just contact the devs and ask them to update. I received several emails about this issue from S7 users on launch day, I went ahead and update all my apps and everything appears again

I used GWD to create my face(s). What do I need to do to "update" my faces?

You just submit an update, but instead of uploading a fake new binary, switch to advanced mode and select s7 in the compatible device list, then note that it is a description update only => submit. Takes some hours to go live

Gear S3 app store doesn't work at all

Since the new update - march [EU market], I can't open the app store in the Samsung Gear application for my Gear S3. The application connects to the watch and I can see the information about Gear. I can't view or install any apps, which makes this watch pretty useless. It worked before the update. I bought the watch a few days before the update so I haven't made a backup of the apps and watchfaces I installed before the update (not sure if I could install them even with the backup since it'd probably require opening the store). I can't restore them and now I can't install them either.
Opening the store always gives this error on a white screen: {"returnCode":"0","errorCode":"0001","errorMsg":"System Error!-[0001]"}
If I try to open any category in the store (for example Health/Fitness), it says "No apps" instead of the error.
I've tried to fix it by:
- reseting Gear S3
- factory reseting Gear S3
- restarting my phone
- cleaning phone cache
- cleaning cache from Samsung Gear, Gear S Plugin and Samsung Accessory Service apps
- cleaning all data from the 3 apps
- uninstalling and reinstalling the 3 apps
- installing the previous (november) .apk versions of the 3 applications (Samsung Gear 2.2.16101261, Gear S Plugin 2.2.03.16111661 and Samsung Accessory Service 3.1.26_16116)
Information about devices:
- Sony Xperia Z3 (Android 6.0.1, up-to-date software, compatible with Gear S3)
- Samsung Gear S3 (model SM-R770, Tizen 2.3.2.3, software version R770XXU2BQC5)
Help fixing this problem would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

This looks not like Samsung handset...
Maybe try first to verify which device makes "trouble"... handset or gear or both...
Easiest way IMHO...
Connect Samsung device with your SM-R770...
No need to buy Samsng handset... maybe your family or friends or neighbar or closest seller.
NO joke.
Samsung do sometimes """funny""" changes to Software so all previous stuff render useless...
Maybe your Sony is now incompatible with BQC5 Firmware...

Health Dashboard watchface with new update?

Does anyone know whether the new Tizen update (May 2020) for the Gear S3 updates the Samsung Health Dashboard watch face? I currently have the one on the left, but I'm holding off installing the update because I am concerned that the watch face will be updated to the one on the right, which I don't like. Does anyone know whether it will be updated? Thanks

I just downloaded it on the new Tizen version & it is the same as the first picture.
It's not in the default watchfaces, i have to install from the store. I can see the new in the store, i don't know if you update.. maybe the new one overwrite the old..

Thanks, everyone. I can confirm that the 4.0.0.7 Tizen update does NOT change the Health Dashboard watch face.
