Hi.
I have attached various pics from my list of custom watchfaces to show that you too can use the same simple tools I used to create high quality watchfaces for your own Gear S3/S2 watches. I tried to take camera shots with my phone, but the colours were not rendered well, so I have instead taken screen shots directly from Samsung's free watch designer utility that i use, and have edited them to make the final pics look presentable. All of these watchfaces are currently loaded onto my Gear S3 watch.
If you are interested in knowing how its done, then post a reply and if I get a reasonable no. of replies requesting to know, I will try to create a video tutorial.
Needless to say, these watchfaces are all for my own personal use and I do not put them up for sale anywhere due to copyright infringements.
Thanks.

Hi.
There are a lot of branded watch faces being developed and made available for free online. I don't know what the law says around copyright infringements, so while it is not clear for online sharing, I think it's best to avoid.
What I can do, is to show how you can create your own watch faces and have created a basic tutorial - see 'Tutorial for Samsung Gear Designer' thread.
Thanks.

The faces you have on this thread and your other are GREAT!
As a side note,
There are tons of the gwd files floating around here on XDA. If there were copyright issues, XDA Moderators would make you pull them. It's VERY against the rules. So (IMO) I wouldn't worry about that at all. If you still do worry about it, would you mind at least sharing the images of the faces you have put together? Making them in GWD is pretty simple, it's getting the faces, hands, etc that it the real PIA.

Hi.
Tell me about it...I have spent more hours than I care to remember putting these watch faces together. I am not worried about the moderators, since I am not breaking their Terms & Conditions for this forum, having read them. I suspect the real copyright owners will not be so happy if I add to their woes.
I am happier to use some of the watch faces as an incentive for helping others to learn how they can become self-sufficient. I am less concerned about those who can already create their own, so my apologies and I hope you are not offended and will understand.
Thanks.

I'd truly be shocked if any of this added to the woes of any of the actual watch mfg's. (But that's a whole different convo )
There's absolutely no need for apologies at all, and I'm not offended in the least. I was only suggesting that you possibly share some of the things you've found to help the community here at XDA.
Thanks for showing the cool faces you created, they look great

Well, you can use my tutorials to create your own great watch faces. I am about to post a new tutorial that shows you how to edit your chosen image and then load and assemble it in Samsung's Gear Watch Designer tool. This will then create a .gwd file that you can load to your Gear S3 watch.
Thanks.
Can we download your designs directly? instead of copy them, there are amazing!
I think I will buy a gear S3 only for this!

Don't know if this app works or not? Looked at it on the play store & as a retired highgrade skunk smoker I see a flaw in you're app.... Scales are quite cheap to buy these days for as little as £10 FOR OK QUALITY ONES, BUT IF I WAS A DEALER & SOMEONE COME UP TO ME & SAID TO ME.... THIS 8TH WEIGHS WELL UNDER LOOK? & SHOWED ME IT USING YOU'RE APP & INFO.... I'D FLIP OUT & TELL THEM TO DO ONE & DON'T COME BACK (THATS BEING NICE) Worse case someone would get smacked up or even knifed/killed.... if this app is just for fun then fine but my advice for you would be work on a normal stoner app & not one what might get someone hurt/killed or laughed off the estate with? There are alot of nutters out there who dont play games when it comes to money & drugs.... have a heart mate

First of all, I don't think anyone would seriously confront their person and make a scene based on a reading from this app. It's kind of expected that it won't be super accurate...secondly, Android flashers/fanatics (not just users in general) tend to not be the kind of people who get knifed, jeeze.
That said, I'd certainly like to know why several users say AVG shows it as being malicious. That hasn't been explained yet and I do want to believe...
Just saying that maybe someone who is to believe that this app maybe an option to weigh weed correctly with it, then maybe they are not thinking right? Sometimes people do stupid things when there on drugs. Its like saying a phone can xray you're hand or tell if you have eaten this morning?
sent from my super modded Samsung Galaxy S3
If you are worried about the performance of this app just go buy a real scale. And since marijuana is usually $10 a gram and its very easy to hand pick a gram. Why would you worry? Majority of people who buy marijuana get from a buddy any who and usually know how much they will get.
Sent from my cm_tenderloin using xda app-developers app
Im not worried, if you're big enough to smoke weed you "SHOULD" be big enough to no better! But like I say "SHOULD BE" I'm not some kid who don't know what I'm talking about.... I'm 35yrs old & grew up from the age of 14yrs old smoking big amounts of skunk on a fairly rough estate in England, mixed people doing drink & all sorts of hard drugs, so i know what im talking about. I am not anti drugs & have nothing against anyone doing what ever they like as long as they don't bother me or my family. don't worry mate I have a clear head so no worries mate

ot, but you know it occurs to me that this is a flaw with the way apps are handled currently between the phone and watch. so if i want multiple watch faces, say a dozen or so, i'll need to install 12 different watch face apps permanently on my phone? that would royally suck. there should be a way to be able to install, have the dedicated wear app go to the watch, and then just delete the app from the phone.

I'm making backgrounds with MS Paint and Powerpoint, just cause they are things I have and know how to use a bit. I'm sure there are much easier and better ways, Photoshop I suppose. I just don't have any experience with such software.
I attached an example of a background I made. It's a 360 x 360 image. I kind of have a template put together at this point where I can make similar ones without too much work.
Then I log in at https://mrtimemaker.com and hit "My Watch" in the upper right and then I select "CREATE the Watch" from that page. From there it's just uploading the image and going through the different options to make the watch.
I love omega sea master watch face. Very nice. Thanks.

You have to install Mr.Time Maker app on your phone, login with your account and then you can transfer these watchfaces to your Gear S2.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.apposter.watchmaker
But be aware: You can only use one Mr.Time watchface at time because the watchfaces itself acts like a theme for an app on your watch.

Can I be the first to suggest that you take a little more time when you're creating watch faces. Perhaps creating 10 amazing faces rather than 60 average ones. Some of those are quite nice, but many of them are very poor quality with some very basic errors, such as not centring the watch face or using low resolution background (see attached).
Just my advice.

Thanks for the watches. Look good. It's great to see there are people out there willing to support the S2.

Oops. Didnt mean to like his post. People can contribute or keep their opinions to themselves, no nee d to be rude to others. +1
I have to agree with Mubble. He was simply offering constructive feedback. Albeit negative but certainly not rude. I would say Patrick's post was more rude even. Everybody is offended by so little things these days it's a little pathetic. Sorry but grow a pair.
I would rather have 10 negative feedbacks over 1 positive being a designer myself. How are you ever going to learn and improve if people aren't honest with you?

Never mind, found the issue, i had to install the app on my phone first, log in and then install the mrtimemaker app on my watch thru samsung gear store, after which i could send the watch faces to my watch.

Hi, My intention was not to be rude, but I can see how that could be construed out of my reply. I was genuinely curious to see some his designs in the hope I might pick up a few ideas/tricks...
oh well

1. Open Samsung Gear App
2. Go to your Watchfaces
3. There is a Mr. Timemaker, select it.
4. Now you should see the Watchface with the white "M" on your Watch.
5. Doubletab on the Watch where you can change the Watchface the first time.
6. Now you can open the Mr. Timemaker App an Send the Watchfaces to your Watch.
Hope it helps

I like 60 watches. Yes i agree on the quality control issue. But I'm down for all the watches i can find. Some of them are pretty cool looking.
What i'd like to see, is more watches with a altitude display, There's one that comes with the stock selection. I"m a truck driver, it be nice sometimes to see my altitude without using the phone.
is there a simple converter to port an android wear facer watchface over to tizen? or is it a "start from scratch" deal?
id love to have a ministry of silly walks watch face that i found over on Facer. I will probably start working on it but im a complete newb at mr facemaker and the other watchface programs.
