Created a couple of watch faces with Mr.TimeMaker.com.
They are fun to make, but creating the hour, minute, and second hands in Photoshop was a pain.
Hope you guys like them. I don't even have my S2 yet to test it on, ugh!
Here they are:

I didn't get the best photo but you get the idea. It looks better in person than what my camera shows.

I'm making backgrounds with MS Paint and Powerpoint, just cause they are things I have and know how to use a bit. I'm sure there are much easier and better ways, Photoshop I suppose. I just don't have any experience with such software.
I attached an example of a background I made. It's a 360 x 360 image. I kind of have a template put together at this point where I can make similar ones without too much work.
Then I log in at https://mrtimemaker.com and hit "My Watch" in the upper right and then I select "CREATE the Watch" from that page. From there it's just uploading the image and going through the different options to make the watch.
I love omega sea master watch face. Very nice. Thanks.
Beautiful. I'd buy a couple from you.

Apply your own watches to your gear on 'mrtimemaker.com' using MR.TIME MAKER application.
Haha! You've been busy. They look sweet. Good work :good:
Here's the ones I've done so far.
Any improvements let me know! I can't test

Wooooo - thanks for posting this. This looks incredibly straight forward to make watch faces! I will definitely be playing with this more this week.
Anyone can give me the lunk to the widget?? Here in The Netherlands it cant be found....

So, I am working on a new Android app and I would love some input on it.
The basic idea is that you can easily "chat" with other random users. I find this very hard to explain without showing so I will just run through the process here. You launch the app then you can write something in a text box and "shout it". The message gets uploaded and then you download a message that someone else has shouted out. You can then either download another message or reply to the message you have, effectively initiating a conversation with that person.
All comments and feedback appreciated, preferably on the Connect-UTB forums but I will check here as well
UPDATE: The app is now out on the Market.. feel free to give it a go!
Interesting
Glad you think so! It will be on the Market soon enough I think, depending on what feedback I get from this limited beta test.
Add different colors for each user and make it like a live update not to press the Grab new shout then it updates Other then that the UI is Good.
Thanks for the ideas. I will make it grab a new shout when you post one (i think, maybe make it a setting).
Not sure what you're thinking when it comes to the colours though? Give each user a unique colour? As in their name? Something like:
Reply from Bob: Hey darling
Reply from Alice: Hey handsome

Yes exactly like that
So this is kind of like a chatroulette/omeggle kinda idea, is that right?
Interesting
Alright, I will give it some though.
I am not sure how to implement the live updates though. Been thinking about it for a while and havent decided on the best way to do this yet, so any suggestions would be welcome!

You could ask some twitter developers because they have the auto updating feature.
sorry i cant personally help im just learning java.
Yeah I agree, maybe there's an open source twitter app?
Re: [BETA][UNDER DEVELOPMENT]uShout
Its not the coding that is the problem, its just figuring out how I want it to be.
Also I'm figuring out how I shouts should be grabbed. Now it just grabs the newest (if you don't have any replies) so if lots of shouts are being posted then most of them might never be read. However I don't want users to get the same shout twice so I have some thinking to do.
Thanks for testing it though. I think it can be a fun app once it gets published on the market

1. Maybe add an option to make the random user a favourite or friend?
2. Also add an icon/picture to your name?
3. An option to add a picture to your post? i.e. "look what I saw today!" - picture.jpg

Would be neat for proximity shout and preference like only want to receive from a female/certain age/or only pictures if not already implemented.
Hmm, interesting. I have been wanting to keep images and pictures of it due to the nastyness that tends to show up. However, a male/female setting would be nice.
Good day everybody!
I've finished my first android app and want to share it
I think it will be useful for women especially:
SmartCloset - your personal wardrobe manager app for Android ™
Easy to administer. Make a photo of things you wear, tag them for a fast search option, and here you have it, wardrobe in a phone.
Easier to check. Take a click at blouse you liked in the shop and check if it fits anything you have.
Easier to know. Check up statistics on what items you wear the most, or which aren’t up to credit.
Ask a friend. Unsure which top should you wear with that skirt? Or make it shorts? Ask a friend over MMS, e-mail or by other ways.
Plan it through. A business meeting at lunch, Romantic dinner in the evening and an all-night party with a friend? Don’t puzzle over – plan it. In diary with notes for events and outfit’s to wear.
Hope more features coming up…
Can't post as URL now, so link to Market - market.android.com/details?id=com.pautinanet.smartclosetlite
Any feedback and suggestion are welcome.

how about making an app dedicated to just sneakers
This app has been released and is now available on the Samsung Apps Store & Google Play
Hello! I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, but here goes.
I'm part of a team developing a niche app for the Note. It's a drawing tutor, that's supposed to teach users how to draw in different art styles. We're looking at anime/manga for initial release, with different "style packs" to be released in the future as downloadable content.
Here's a video of the app trailer (goes up to 1080p for full Galaxy Note screen, though cropped, resolution):
I'd just like to know, for the kind of people who might be interested by this kind of app, what kind of features might you like to see?
My team has a deadline to meet so we definitely cannot promise implementing every feature right away, but if the app does reasonably well, it's safe to say it'll get the long-term update treatment.
And yes, there is a very similar app out there called "How to Draw - Easy Art Lessons" in the Google Play store, but we hope to better execute the same idea.
I think it looks awesome !!! I Love drawing on the Note but Im really **** at it lol So having something like this would suit me down to the ground !!
Looking forward to it
Hey azzledazzle, thanks for that. I hope we can pull it off well.
KABAYAN
i will you all the success in this app. i too am a fan of drawing but drawing does not like me that much, i hope this app mends our differences, lol.
Haha, yeah that's half the reason I'm liking this project so much. Thanks for the vote of confidence!
I love drawing, drawing hates me! I hope this would help me though
Edit: Saw the video and it looks pretty neat. One feature I would like to request is.. I don't know how to put it but anyways.. I would like to select a image from the gallery, say a cute lil puppy, and be able to trace that picture on a blank sheet (or canvas??). So after I finish tracing, I could edit it a little, a few finishing touches here and there, and save it.

As far as I know, any non-touchwiz ROM can't access the Samsung App Store. I tried installing the apk, tried the website. Nothing helped. I wonder if there's a workaround that I may not know of though.

I've tried a little bit of drawing with the note but not got very far.
Would be interested in an app to help me develop it further. Not seen video yet (no wifi atm) but will check later and let you know of anything I'd like to see implemented.
Would be happy to perform testing if you need anyone.

Hi guys, just letting you all know we've uploaded to the Samsung app store and it's currently undergoing review. Additionally, according to the Samsung Smart Apps Challenge rules as well as the general Samsung developer agreement, they don't require exclusivity for titles on their store. So we'll be uploading to Google Play afterwards, too.
Some tidbits about the current version:
Creator mode is done, in very rudimentary form. Users can make their own drawing tutorials in a step-by-step manner with up to 13 steps, upload the tutorial, and view/trace the tutorials of others in the community category.
Aside from anime characters, the app now has a dinosaurs category!

Yeah, I could've worded that better. My apologies.
Some trivia about the app if you care to know: it started out as a kind of maze game where you control this glowing lump of lava lamp goo by using the S-Pen, and depending on the amount of pressure you apply, the goo would grow or shrink in size, making it more difficult to traverse the maze if you're heavy-handed with the pen. But the S-Pen SDK doesn't really have any functionality for animations so it looked really stale.

Very informative and to the point. I'd only suggest turning the phone so it's not so sideways to the viewer, but I learned a lot from those clips.

No sweat. You give more than you ask for!
I think the phone could be aligned more straight to the viewer and still show what you're doing on it, but I could be wrong. I do know that some hands-on videos I've seen hid most of what you were supposed to learn because the reviewer had such fat fingers.

Thanks man I think I got a little too obsessed with aligning the phone diagonally so that I can zoom in the max... will keep it a little straighter in future videos... sometimes when you get in too deep you cant see the bigger picture and end up over analyzing and missing common stuff out... Videos are excellent, a little long combining them both, but still excellent. I didn't mind the angle so much, everything was clear and focused.
I may have missed it, but when I went into AT&T they had a white note 3 on display, the dialer on that phone was white with white buttons, your video seems to show dark with dark buttons? Is that an option or am I crazy?

Might have been an AT&T thing... theres no option to change it tho... and yes they were long... did the short review earlier... I felt that I really couldnt do justice to all of the Note 3's features in a 12 min review and hence decided to do a 20 min one featuring all s/w and then that ended up being a 2 part 35 min video (and thats after 12-14 hours in editing, multiple run throughs and extensive cutting )

Many thanks Ashwin for arranging these two videos.
They are very useful for a fast update on some useful features and shortcuts for the note 3.
Its also helpful to know when certain features don't work, as you show, which can save a lot of aggravation given that the Note 3 manual is not particularly comprehensive.
Excellent
As many others have said, great videos! Nice and clear, easy to understand and follow; very nice pace and to the point. I learned a LOT!
