Hello, recently i tried to uninstall system apps by adb and i uninstalled stock emui dialer. This causing problems with sim card. I cant phone anyone, turn on mobile data and others. Can someone help me with getting back dialer without loosing data? Pls help. Thanks and sorry for my english.
I didn't care for the stick dialer so I installed the Google stock dialer from APK mirror. You could try that.

Hi I have been trying to solve this for the past 4 hours and I am going in circles!
I uninstalled a bunch of apps trying to clear some memory and I think I have taken out some important system apps. I have a P500 which was on stock GB, the phone is rooted and I've now been booting some different roms but I still keep having problems. The setup wizard has gone, so I can't sync my gmail account, and so I can't access google play.
Originally I had a problem where the screen was blank only when unlocked, I could pull down the drawer but couldn't access anything. I did a factory reset but same problem. I did installed a completely stock Froyo and got the same problem I have installed gmail from the sd card, but it doesn't open once installed.
In accounts under settings there is no option for gmail, just exchange and corporate. This is the same with all the roms I have tried.
If this has been brought up before can someone please link me the solution?
Thankyou in advance

Go to settings 》application settings and try clearing the data for the application

try and uninstall it and re-install if you are able.. something could have gotten screwy ... also.. a lot of the google apps tend to sometimes have issues after updates.. you could just try and uinstall the most recent update and see if it still occurs..

I cannot uninstall the app. there is no such option. i uninstalled update and this error message shows up non-stop.
keep having the problem the entire day. what can I do? thanks
I uninstalled updates and the error shows up like craxy. Then, I went to playstore to reinstall update. Still get the error shown on the topic. Is there anything that I could do besides a factory reset?

are you rooted?if you are, you can use Titanium Backup to uninstall the app (think you might have to buy the pro if you dont have in order to mess with system apps, but if you dont own and are rooted, 1 of the few apps very worth buying).
if you do this, then you can go and reinstall from playstore as a fresh install..
if those don't work, then factory reset/odin back to stock may be needed..
also, if rooted you could try using a rom and flash that as an option..
My device is not rooted. Is there a way to solve the problem without rooting?
Only other thing I'd try prior to a factory reset would be to remove your google account information and then add it back in (settings - general - accounts). This may reset GAPPS (google apps) to the point where maps works again.
Did you by any chance delete or deactivate several Google processes? Like Google Services?
Hello guys I have a little problem with Google Maps and 1+1.
Today I want to use it and I get the message "Unfortunately, Maps has stopped" I try to uninstall updates, uninstall updates and update again, clear cache and data, force stop and nothing works. I don´t know what I should do, Maps is very useful for me.
My device is BL unlocked and rooted with Cyanogen 11S stock version XNPH38R. If you need to know any other data, tell me. Thanks in advance.

use Nokia Here or do a factory reset. Strange that its the only app that gives you trouble.
really strange...
you may try disabling and reenabling location services through google settings app.. maybe it helps... there's some kind of corrupt data within the google services causing your problem...

Thanks for your fast answers guys!!!
I try what you said Aavion and Maps is still broken... :S
Relayers, what is Nokia Here? Is an app? If it is I can´t find it on Google Play. Also do a factory reset makes me tremble....
I´m thinking on do a backup of my current Maps app, delete it and download ir from scratch. What do you think about that?
Thanks in advance again.
Ok, I did the backup of maps, delete it and download it from Google Play, I have the same issue. Idk what I must do to fix that. I need to avoid a factory reset if possible.
Go to the Samsung site and see if they have Nokia Here in their app store. You can also do a "nokia here for galaxy" search.

okay... it seems like a factory reset is the only thing that helps with google maps... but first you may sideload the newest maps update and see how it goes, or use an alternate maps app like nokia here

Thanks for all your help. Now I´m also having the same issue than with maps with a game and other app that I usually use.
I have my 1+1 rooted with unlocked BL, How should I do a factory reset? I need to lock BL first? I´m a bit confused on how to proceed to make a factory reset because I don´t want to brick my phone. Thanks in advance.
EDIT.: And if I do a factory reset I lost the content of my storage like music and photos?
Just a little bump, can I do a factory reset without troubles with unlocked BL and root? If I do I lost root? And also do you recommend me to backup and restore my apps or I should do a fresh install of all of it? Thanks in advance guys!!!
Hey guys,
I am facing serious problem with my galaxy core, 2 Days back i have rooted my device and uninstalled some unwanted system apps, and after that i have noticed that my phonebook/contact(unfortunately contact has stopped) is not working at all, and for that i cant even make calls by dial so i have reset my device but problem remain same, after that i have did some search on google about this problem and did everything as i have suggested bt problem remain.

Anyone else met with this issue with the latest beta? I keep getting this error, none of my SIMs work and trying to go into settings-SIM&Network crashes settings.
I used to have Google dialer framework (Magisk) and Google Phone installed, removed them but the problem persists... Cleared Phone's data, set the OP phone as default app, nothing works - I can't receive or make calls, and the OP dialer just gives me a black screen.
Any ideas?
Can I go back to OB3 without wiping everything?
[EDIT] ahhh local upgrade won't let me downgrade...

I'm on latest beta 4 using a IN2025 OP8Pro. I used the full ROM not the incremental update to upgrade from OB3. I am rooted also. No issues you are experiencing. Sounds like you need to flash the full ROM from fastboot mode and complete wipe for a clean install and start from there.
./
Thanks for the input. How big is the partial update? Because the one I flashed was almost 3GB...
So, no real way to downgrade to OB3 again?
3gb is full ROM not the incremental update.
So that's not the explanation then... I wonder if factory resetting will fix the problem?
Any ideas anyone?
