How to view current LTE band? - Honor 6X Questions & Answers

It looks like most apps (lte discovery, cell info lite) are for Intel/Qualcomm chipset only. Anything that shows LTE band for Honor 6X?

[Q] Supported 4G bands on MSM8960Pro

Hi guys,
I am trying to confirm what bands are supported and the MAXX. I have done some research and it turns out that most of the latest Moto phones with the
MSM8960Pro Snapdragon support different bands. The Motorola Moto X XT1052 for Europe for example supports the following 4G bands: LTE 800 / 1800 / 2600
The MAXX however only supports LTE 700 MHz Class 13 / 1700 / 2100
So, is it the hardware that is different on these phones or is the baseband installed the deciding factor as to what band is usable?
I've tried to find technical documents for this chipset, to confirm whether it supports all these bands or not but can't find anything.
Last but not least, would flashing the european Moto X baseband on the MAXX unlock the band 7 frequency?
TIA

It is hardware different, there is is different radio chip.
If you flash moto x radio there will not be signal.
Different radio chip, everything it's the same

Obviously, we are just talking about internal hardware.

New Nexus 5 - network problem (a complicated one)

Hi
need your help, I have tried everything..
I can not connect to 3G
I tried to flash image factory/set correct APN setting with the operator/switch radios/replacing new SIM.
didn't helped my!
When I connect to 2G everything works for me, calls and online.
When I switch to 3G, I have no service, it writes me Unavailable operator.
It get stuck on the "Search" when I try to search manually.
When I try to go back to 2G, it is still stuck on "searching.." and I have no reception! Only reboot fixes it and I can go back to work with 2G.
It is important to note that when I take out the SIM I can find operator on 3G.
How can I fix the problem or even understand what it comes from?
I have Nexus tool kit, maybe I can sent you Catlog \ bugreprot?!
Thank You in Advance
What about, when you are in LTE ? Will you get 3G ? You should get either 3G or Edge (came to know that your country don't have LTE yet).

I don't have LTE in my country yet, and my operator only have 2G (no EDGE)
If you choose LTE on your phone, it supports all lower versions (i.e 3G / Edge) ! So you must get Edge (2G) !
LTE option doesn't force only LTE !

I know, if I choose LTE I get the same problem, no service..

This. The Nexus 5 very well may not support the 3G frequencies your network uses.

I certainly know that this is not the problem, Nexus 5 is supported in my country
Should not be a problem with the 3G frequencies of both models 820 \ 821.
If that's the case, I'd recommend contacting your carrier.

T-Mobile LTE band 2?'s

I'm just trying to get a idea of if I'm experiencing a problem or not. Lately I've been in areas in town that I'm only getting edge signal. Is there a way to find out if t mobile is supplying band 2 and 12 LTE in the areas I'm experiencing edge only? The areas are plenty populated.
Is there a coverage map that shows what bands are being used in my area?

Remove being offline

Is it possible? When your on call but can't use the internet unless on wifi. Is it a sprint thing or spark speed? Is there a mod that can let you be in call and go on internet
No

It used to be available a while back (SVLTE/SVDO) on older handsets but with Sprint's push to Sprint Spark (switching between LTE bands 25, 26, 41) and now to carrier aggregation/MIMO (LTE plus) this is not possible right now. Once VoLTE is implemented then we should have this ability again.
Well if it's a spark thing...is note only limited to this 25 26 41 thing?
i was able to talk and surf in the note 2 i might switch back to it and just guve my wife this note 5

If it's that important to you why don't you try VOIP? That way way it'll all be "data" and you can surf at the same time.

Signal Check Pro not working on Mate 8

Anyone know how to make this work? This app shows the band of LTE and signal strength in dBm. Works great on Nexus 6P and every other Android phone I have tested.

The report should've gone to Huawei as it's an Emui issue :good:
I emailed their support from the Huawei site too
