I know the s6 g920a was "unrootable" last time i checked. I Switched my s6 g920a from AT&T to tracphone (safelink). In order to do that i had to ask AT&T for unlock code to use tracphone (safelink) sim card i received in the mail. Did this unlock the bootloader? Is it possible to root this thing now?
If so how?

Hi Exerts,
I have a Galaxy S2 for TMobile (T989). I received an unlock code from T Mobile customer care which worked.
My question is will i still be able to root the phone ? Will the phone be locked again ?
If yes, then can i use the same unlock code provided my T Mobile. Please help me find the link to root this phone.
Thanks for your time and help.
Regards,
Pkumar.
Once unlocked the phone remains unlocked.
Rooting does not change the unlocked phone back to a locked phone.
I recently upgraded my phone to replace my Galaxy S3. I still have it rooted and bootloader unlocked, with 4.3 ROM
I was wondering, if this phone is already unlocked for international use? Or do i still have to take it in to a VZW to do their magic?
Also, do i need another Sim card from vzw or how exactly does the phone work for international usage?
I've rooted my T-mobile M919 that is on 4.3. I've tried all the codes in all the forums, but can't get to any of the menus. Is there something I can do to sim unlock the phone? Thanks.
I'm trying to figure out what Samsung Galaxy s7 to buy, leaning towards the g930f due to the unlocked Sim...
Are all the g930f bootloader locked? But the international versions I'm assuming allow you to unlock the bootloader
Thanks
There's a twrp recovery for the 930f and 930w8 so it can't have a locked bootloader.
Can I Flash AT&T firmware onto this Unlocked Model so I can have Wifi Calling and Video Calling???? The Unlocked model above will not allow with an AT&T Sim card installed. What is purpose of getting an Unlocked phone when you cannot do this?? Thanks for a reply.
