I recently upgraded my phone to replace my Galaxy S3. I still have it rooted and bootloader unlocked, with 4.3 ROM
I was wondering, if this phone is already unlocked for international use? Or do i still have to take it in to a VZW to do their magic?
Also, do i need another Sim card from vzw or how exactly does the phone work for international usage?

I have a Verizon edge that I am currently using on T-Mobile because we switched carriers. I would love to load the T-Mobile ROM on the Verizon phone. is that possible?
If you are using the Verizon version of the phone, even though you unlocked the carrier, it should still be using Verizon bootloaders which are locked up tight. if you try to flash this you'll more than likely end up with a soft brick.

It will not work as the devices firmware is completely different. You will soft brick your device by trying to flash something from a different version.
Recently I've bought samsung galaxy s4 at&t which is already unlocked and rooted now I want to re flash my device .
Question is if I re flash my device what would happen

Carrier/SIM locking has nothing to do with the ROM or root or bootloader.
ThanksThanks
Thanks I was so much very about it
Hey,
I have the verizon m8 unlocked to work on any gsm network. I'll be travelling to India next week and want to make sure the phone will work fine with Indian networks without a problem?
Also, Is there any way i can get the ROM that comes with the factory version of the phone (without the amazon and verizon apps)? In short, I want a stock rom without any trace of verizon.
I'm new to the HTC world and i've read a lot about RUU but haven't got a clear information on what it is.
I'm on 5.0.1, unlocked, s-off, rooted.
Thanks.

I bought a custom unlocked s7 from ebay and it is the sprint model (930p) and i am using a tmobile sim card in it. Current software is PC5 and i do believe the software used to unlock it is custom because of the unlock padlock during boot. I was interested in updating my phone to benefit from bug fixes. It is the snapdragon 820 model and upon factory reset the same custom software was still on it.
My question is this: could i update my s7 via a ROM upload without ruining the unlocked feature of the phone.
Any help is appreciated! thanks!

I am about to port this line over to at&t, is there anything special I need to do to get data working correctly when I put the new att sim in? I'm asking because I have heard of data issues when using the sprint u11 on at&t. Phone is sim unlocked with the stock sprint rom.
Nevermind, looks like its an att issue.
S-off and flash to US Unlocked firmware. That *may* help.
