Can I Flash AT&T firmware onto this Unlocked Model so I can have Wifi Calling and Video Calling???? The Unlocked model above will not allow with an AT&T Sim card installed. What is purpose of getting an Unlocked phone when you cannot do this?? Thanks for a reply.

I have a SM-930V(verizon) galaxy s7 and is running Tmobile(930T) firmware. Is there any tmobile sim-unlocked firmware that I can download? Or can I flash the 930U firmware and sim-unlock my phone? What are the implications on doing this? I want to keep samsung pay, wifi calling, and LTEvoice.
You need to get a sim unlock code - there are a few websites you can purchase that from. It is not a firmware change, at least not on the S7.
Correct me if I'm wrong but don't Verizon phones come GSM unlocked or is that only for outside of the country?
Verizon S7 comes unlocked: http://www.androidcentral.com/yes-verizon-galaxy-s7-and-s7-edge-are-sim-unlocked, Just Flash the latest SM-G930U Firmware available. as always at your own risk of course, plenty of guides on how to flash the U firmware to verizon s7 here at XDA.
My T-Mobile S7 came with a device unlock application... Ive never seen it before, so i tested it out by using the temporary unlock and it worked...

It works. A tmobile rep confirmed that it is now unlocked.
If you do not have the apk for some reason... i grabbed it heres the apk:
mines is factory unlocked (SM-G930U) so am good to go , congrats on unlocking it and you can now flash the SM-G930 U firmware on it and get rid of the TMO bloatware.
If I have the AT&T variant and flash the universal firmware. Could I then use the phone on the Verizon network??
If you sim unlock the phone then yes it should work.
Please help I have an unlocked bootloader on AT&T unlocked phone on 8.0 s7 just flashed T-Mobile 8.0

Crazy question but are you sure the bootloader is unlocked?
AT&T are pretty famous on XDA for having unlockable bootloaders.

Agreed I think you're confusing carrier lock with bootloader lock, which are different things.
If you tried going into the APN settings and searching for carrier networks?
Seems I can get a great deal on a US unlocked Note20, but for my use case I want to dual sim it with a physical Verizon Sim and a T-Mobile e-Sim.
Can I do this with the unlocked phone, or is there a way to flash the firmware to the T-Mobile ROM to be able to do this? Do I lose anything by buying a U1 generic unlocked version?

I am using the same setup with a U1 device. Flash TMobile firmware, instructions are in one of the threads here.
I have question if I flash T-Mobile firmware, what bloatware comes with it. Secondly both sims can be non-T-Mobile or eSim can be only T-Mobile and nano sim from other carrier?
Both sims can be non TMobile.
Hello,
If I recently purchased a flip 3 and am on a payment plan, tmobile won't unlock my phone unless I pay it off in full. Is it possible to flash the default software of the unlocked model so I can get updates from Samsung and still have my sim work? I'm not switching carriers, do I need the tmobile version of firmware for data/phone to work if the phone isn't unlocked?
Thanks

Yes, you can flash the unlocked version of the firmware and your phone should work/receive updates as if it was an unlocked unit. Worst case scenario you can just reflash the T-mo firmware and go back to what you currently have. Good info here:
F711U and F711U1 Firmware Links and Flashing Discussion Here
(WIP, files are currently processing and uploading) For those who aren't already aware, F711U is the model number of all of the US carrier versions of the Z Flip3. The F711U1 is the model number of the same device, but sold by Samsung SIM...
