I am Using Honor 6 H60-L04. I have Upgraded to EMUI 3.0 B370. I did not like the Update now i want to revert back to EMUI 2.3. When ever i try to revert back to EMUI 2.3 it leads to error displaying that [Software install failed]. I think Baseband is prventing to downgrade.
Please Help Me Guys. Is there Any way to Downgrade the Baseband

Hello Can anyone tell me how to officially update Honor 8 FRD-L02C675B130 to EMUI 5 and nougat 7.
Thanks in advance.
Just go to the settings and search for the update for the phone
It should give you Noughat 7 and EMUI 5
But this way it maybe wont give you the latest one for the phone
Couse when the latest one are released it takes some time
to arrive to all the regions..
The latest one for me the official way was B360 and it was Noughat 7
But the very latest one for me was now B381 wich I needed to install manually..
So if you dont care about the very latest and will wait until it is released in your region
Then just go to the settings and update it that way..
And if you do the update..it is recommended to do a factory reset after the update is done
Just to fix some bugs wich usually comes after such install . .. the most bugs will be fixed that way..
And if you want to have the very latest noughat 7 then look in some of the threads
it is explaind how to use the Firmware Finder and how to update manually
It is not that hard just need to follow al the steps given step by step

When I look for an update on the update app, it says that I am on the latest software. I'm still on emui 4.1 Android 6.0
Than you might be one of the small number wich still did not get the noughat 7 update..
Try it then with firmware finder..
Firmware finder you will find on google play store
Note: READ ABOUT FF ( FIRMWARE FINDER ) ON XDA AND LOOK THE LINK BELOW ..

Report back to see if you have troubles or if you were successfull

Is this an official update ..will I still have my warranty after this??
Do not know about the warranty but this will just force the latest update for your model and you will have to install it by yourself manually
If this voids the warranty I really dont know about that one
Hope someone will help you with this question to get the answer

.. well, for downgrade you should use this official tool http://www.hihonor.com/uk/support/details/index.html?DOC_ID=84943, and you will have 5.1.1 .. but, this yours marshmallow build number is not latest, maybe you should try 860 first .. install firmware finder by Team MT from playstore .. for now I only have problem with sd card unexpectedly removed, still I'm not sure this is software related
i confused what i should i use first? firmware finder by Team MT from playstore OR the tool from hihonor ?

.. as I said, if you want to go back, to 5.1.1 use the hihonor official tool with description in it, but if you want to upgrade marshmallow again from 820 to 860 try firmware finder ..

Just look for BLN-L21 firmware ending with 360 or 361.
Sent from my Honor 6X using XDA Labs
Just register your phone through HiCare and wait a couple of days. Push updater once in a while. Why use firmware finder ?

Mate 8 general Forum is where you'll find your answer but be careful. You may get a lot of battery drain. I updated to nougat and didn't like it at all because of battery drain. Downgraded to emui 4.1 and although it's a little better, im still getting battery drain so I'm downgrading again back emui 4.
