Hello today i got update to marshmallow ,when i try to update its says Software installed failed Incompatibility with current version
Right now im on 5.5.1 B331.
I tried to downlaod from internet latest update , still got the same error .

B560? B571?

1st try to install B560

It doesn't ask you to register,
Its free for everyone.
How you download it? On phone or computer?
If through phone you need to install mega app
If through pc then click on download via browser

Sorry, I edited later, I managed to download the first file, however I gave an error at 15% and does not update. It sends me to the EMUI websited for "help" .
Edit : Second attempt WORKED. Thanks .

how to download file and update software for huawei mate 7 L09?
Build Number is= MT7-L09V100R001C00B150
Andriod Version= 4.4.2
EMUI Version=EMUI 3.0

Nougat update is here UK and maybe other countries

Good day all I have two Honor 8s both with UK B131 firmware. Been checking updates for Android 7 but not luck.
So I updated my Huawei ID software to 2.4.1.304_OVE one one deviceand then checked for firmware update of my OS and low and behold the new update is there. 2.38GB and downloaded.
I check once again with my other device which l had not updated the Huawei ID, each time I checked for new OS it came back No Update.. So I once again updated my Huawei ID to the one above once installed I checked for new updated. The new update was there did the download and installed reboot and it's all good to go...
So give it a try if you still not seeing new update each time you try..

Now to try out the Twin app...
Things I have notice that has been fixed in Android 7
World clock now list County and city for La Réunion - Saint-Denis. Had to use Mauritius settings in the past.

Glad to hear that. Can you provide screenshot of baseband version, security patch level date and kernel version?

Was that from the Play store? There is no update here for Huawey ID in Ireland latest in Play Store is 2.3.3.312_OVE
Would you have the APK?

@Nyssa1104, thank you, sir. This is the same version which i already received couple of days ago. It is from 18.01.2017. I wonder will the OTA update from 6.02.2017 be pushed soon.....

No its not from play store. Go to the Huawei ID once open in the menu Check for updates.. This is what I did and it will show the new Huawei ID update and just download and install no need for reboot.. There after checking check for New OS..
Just a address note I have since done this to two more Honor 8s (4 now) and they all update to. Android 7 this way.. Maybe there is a trigger in the new Huawei ID software?

I should image so in the near future but in the mean time going to see how this Nougat pans out as it is..
Side Note
Twin app when used with Whatsapp is a must for dual sim devices and it works with no lag on the phone.. All default OS settings and firmware

I got my Honor ID update but no OS update here.
I'm in the UK maybe it will turn up later

Thank you for the info, just got checked and found this tiny update! I dont have enough battery and wifi connectivity far from home atm,gonna try tomorrow and let see!!!

That's the Huawei ID update I did and then checked for OS update and downloaded installed and rebooted to where I am now Android 7..

Yes I as on build B131 UK and like I said no matter how many times I had hit that update button for firmware no update showed up until I had updated the Huawei ID to the one stayed in OP this was on 4 Honor 8s. I have 2 and 2 co-worker each have one. And all device have the new firmware...

Just done the above but still no update, I'm I the UK too.

Is the low resolution setting working ?

Thanks. Did that, now Huawei ID is v2.4.1.304_OVE but no luck with Android Update unfortunatelly - Still says "No Updates"

Did you updated the 06.02.2017 OTA? If you did, does the Android security patch still on 1 December 2016? Thank you sir

@fnudaniel83, i'm still on the software from the 18.01.2017. I will wait before update, because from 7am to 20 pm i have 6 hrs SOT and 40℅ battery left at my usage. The phone is very responsive and fast. I mean i am very, very glad.
My posts in all the topics, related to the Android 7.0 are provoked by the same questions as yours- is there any real differences in versions, or Huawei are shocked by themselves and they dont know what they doing? [emoji23] [emoji23]

Yeah I'm currently on the current frd-L04c567b60 Android 7 date 03.01.2017 updated via firmware finder. I'm having issues with Bluetooth won't connect to my car system, so I'm hoping there's a new update that will fix that.

Hello guys i've been upgraded my phone to android M from Honor 6 India site, so i found a lot of things is not working good in my phone like battery doesn't bear work on the day
BTW I am From Egypt and MEA Phones have different software To my knowledge

.. well, for downgrade you should use this official tool http://www.hihonor.com/uk/support/details/index.html?DOC_ID=84943, and you will have 5.1.1 .. but, this yours marshmallow build number is not latest, maybe you should try 860 first .. install firmware finder by Team MT from playstore .. for now I only have problem with sd card unexpectedly removed, still I'm not sure this is software related

.. as I said, if you want to go back, to 5.1.1 use the hihonor official tool with description in it, but if you want to upgrade marshmallow again from 820 to 860 try firmware finder ..

Updates may have some delays depending on your region. If you can't wait, use the proxy update option in FF.

Warning; don't use FF app, you will cry on the streets like me.
I too have a BLN-L21C185 and I am stuck on B361, after I used FF, I have problems with themes app, I've lost my FM radio and I can't get OTA updates. So, if you want all these problems, welcome to the world of Firmware Finder.

Patience is the manta here mate. It will come slowly to users.

I have a BLN-L21C432B360 and the notification of the update officially came this weekend, before that i could only force the update by clicking on the 3 dots and selecting "download latest update" (but in that manner, the full package will be downloaded and not only the recent patch updates).

goodbye to firmware finder for Huawei

The application will stop working and We lost something important Because of Huawei's policy!

I used Proxy-Method. Simply go into ff and open the latest approved for installation firmware. For europe C432 it's B503. But due to the fact you're german lies das hier.

Since Firmware Finder has nothing to do with unlocking, its pretty useless.

Can we install other model number firmwares in your honor device example im having honor 5 cam-ul00 can i flash my model to honor 9 i.e bl22c675 is it safe .. Or have any bugs or risk through firmware finder so pls help me

Im trying to update my honor 4x che1-L04 but post installed the firmware finder for Huawei, n selected the model number I'm getting error: probably you don't have connections to mt server. Could anyone help on this.
