My phone is currently running Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It works just fine and I rarely lags but I am still considering to upgrade if that would make my phone even faster and add useful features. Its UI also looks really nice.
But before I upgrade I wanna be sure is it worth time I'd have to spend in the process and will it work well on the this phone.
I also don't wanna lose LG's software features such as Clip Tray.
Are there any ROMs for LG L Bello D331 and should I install one?

Cyanogenmod on Moto G

Hi!
As a Moto G owner I was wondering if there were any benefits of installing Cyanogenmod on the Moto G, seeing as Moto G runs a vanilla version of Android anyway, any thoughts?
Thanks
i have the same doubt

The CM11 is even lighter on resources than the stock Android. It also brings plenty of useful features without you needing to install them separately like Torch, ability to turn on & off features straight from notification bar which is extremely convenient. You can also add more entries of your choice in said bar, e.g. network data preference (2G or 3G). Not just this, but the CM11 comes with a beautiful File Manager out-of-the-box which even puts my paid Solid Explorer to shame; although the UI is very identical. You'll definitely feel the difference once you start using it yourself. Even tiny things like changing hostname alone make it a worthwhile practice.
EDIT:
I also agree with what @Durteedee said, GravityBox should bring many of CM11 features to stock Android if you don't want to deal with flashing and stuff.

[Q] Can Android 4.4.2 "KitKat" be downgraded to "Jelly bean" 4.3?

Hi!
So, not a long ago, I upgraded my tablet from 4.2 to 4.3 Jellybeans, It went awesome, some apps went better than before!
But... Today I upgraded from 4.3 to the new KitKat 4.4.2, and now I feel horrible... A lot of apps got slow as hell, and others stopped working, An example is DraStic, a Nintendo DS emulator with a perfect performance, with KitKat now it looks like a slideshow, a very slow one, so, my questión is simple, can it be downgraded ummm... Without root? Or do I have to get rooted my tablet and then flash the previous ROM?
By now im stuck In KitKat, it sucks, seriously.

BAD LUCK TO ALL NON-z

So what's the problem, mate?
The E3 has a fully grown up OS version. Probably will receive the 4.4 update, just like the dual-sim variant and it will be OK.
I don't understand all the hype surrounding the 5.0 version. Not even all the top-rangers from last year got the update.
They are still launching new models with Kit Kat on board.
Moving on from this point of view I've read a lot of threads regarding both official AND custom builds of 5.0 and in all these threads users are complaining about some serious memory management problems. Putting it clear the RAM management, at this moment, is worse on Lollipop than on Kit Kat. I have a friend with a LG G3, the version with 3GB RAM and after the update he also noticed that the memory management is worse.
So my true and sincere advice is to be happy with a fully optimized OS version than unhappy with a buggy-first-cycle-of-life version of the same OS which you will probably use just the same I have a SGS4, the I9505 version with Snapdragon 600 CPU which is scheduled to receive Lollipop but I'm not in a hurry to install it. Both the I9500 (Exynos) and I9506 (Snapdragon 800) variants of the SGS4 received it already and everyone reports lots of bugs. I'm not saying that Sony is above or bellow Sammy, but the OS is the same so the problems will be the same. And if you wonder what am I doing on this thread let me just say that I bought my father an E3 as a gift So I'm keeping a close eye on it :cyclops:
So don't worry and enjoy the phone because it's a perfect mid-ranger! Cheers and all the best :highfive:
Perfect mid-ranger with only 4GB of internal storage (whilst E4 comes with double that storage at 2/3 of the price of E3 + better front camera)? At least lollilop would solve the internal storage issue to some extend.

I dont,t think if we have ram problem lollypop will be usefull at all.as he told 3gig,s of ram had problem.
Storage is not an issue i have 7gigs of games on my sd with 1 gig free internel storage.
E4 is reallly lost everything from e3 e4 has super small datacable for charging. Fully crap.it,s like sony just reduced quality to make a low price phone. Even micromax had better phone than e4. And yellowness in display is worse thing. Just grab e3 instead of e4.
I reallly love sony for build quality. Which it lost in e4.
Don,t know why but i really think of samsung like micromax and other,s.

Excuse me, but can you name at least 5 apps or games that worked on 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich and don't work anymore because of the OS update? And 4.0.4 is how old by now? I quote: "Release to manufacturing: October 19, 2011". Aham! That's like 4 years ago Think you going to keep the E3 for at least 4 years? In fact let me tell you that Xposed doesn't have a stable version on 5.0 yet. And that's a main reason for a lot of people not to upgrade to 5.0.

Every one have their own thinking Bro....all d best
So sad but is not the end!!
:crying: Guys, dont talk so fast!!!
Not necesarily we have bad luck.
Remember guys, there´s an AOSP development for mid and low range 2014 Xperia devices such as: E3, M2, T2 ultra, T3 and C3. That devices may receive lollipop through official or unofficial way after Z series.
I know you are going to say: AOSP is not a requirement for make a final and stable version. But, Why was the reason sony released an AOSP?
http://developer.sonymobile.com/kno...e/open-devices/list-of-devices-and-resources/
http://developer.sonymobile.com/201...ased-2014-xperia-devices-now-supported-video/
Even if is not lollipop for us, we can keep with kitkat, keeping on mind the highest KK stability compared with released 5.0.1 or 5.0.2 lollipop versions.
I know AOSP is bug filled, but some developers are working in that issues. Theres no CM12 stable version for Flamingo (E3) but @freexperia is working at least in LTE E3 devices.
Yesterday, Unofficial Xperia Blog reported some screenshots of Xperia C3 running something like lollipop in chinese market, but it may be fake
http://www.xperiablog.net/2015/03/0...enshots-emerge-could-it-be-landing-after-all/
And also, dont let intimidate by three or four tweets or android related blogs with the bad new. We should wait the official confirmation on Sony Xperia official blog.
BTW: if Sony really dont want update 2014 models and just update Z series and upcoming 2015 models, they will lose market quota. Sony is not good in the mobile market, forget the users and dont listen them can be a mistake for Kazuo Hirai´s company.
And here is the final comment: my next phone will be from motorola or another brand updateable, because Sony, LG, Samsung, Alcatel and others forgot low and mid range devices, thanks to the high fragmentation of the premise "Same but different"
People change its devices each two years, so, we never will get the latest version of android on any device, even if the device has infinite ram, processor and storage! Certainly the true is many people get/buy a low mid range instead a high and expensive flagship
We should support cyanogenmod or develop our android versions for stop programated obsolescence! Look, android versions rolling in the world: 2.3 4.0.X 4.1.X, 4.2.X 4.3.X 4.4X, 5.0.X. This is not fair for users!!! Android is doing bad, they should follow iOS example and keep updated even the legacy devices on all brands!!

The best current ROM for the TL-10?

Hey everyone.
I am growing sick / bored of EMUI. I dislike literally everything that they've slathered onto Android. From the notification panel to the crappy lockscreen and everything in between.
My question is this: Which of the (albeit extremely limited) available ROM's for the HAM7 is the best, and as a bonus closest to stock android?
I do realize that flashing these ROM's requires some jumping through hoops, but I think it would be worth it at the end of the day.
The only two ROM's I know of that's working on the HAM7 is KangVIP (this is an EMUI-based rom as I understand, so I would love to avoid it) and the unofficial Cyanogenmod 11. Both of these requires downgrading to 4.4.4, but honestly if that means I can break free from the shackles that is EMUI it would be worth it. Even sacrificing the fingerprint scanner, which is one of the reasons I blindly purchased this phone, would be worth escaping the devastating black hole that is EMUI.
I've also read that, due to the similarities between the HAM7 and the Honor 6 (?) you can get away with flashing ROM's intended for the latter. Has anyone flashed one of these bootleg ROM's and is currently having a smooth, stable experience? Are there ones based on Android 5.1.1 and above?
For the record my device specifically is the TL-10 Gold model (B324).
Cheers. :good:
Huawei doesn't released kernel source for 5.1.1 or 6.0 android so there isn't any costum rom based on this android version. There is only 4.4 kernel source so only costum rom based on this android versions can be available. If there is any good developer...
Bottom line: if you want to flash rom and costumised your system you should bougt some Nexus device or some other popular flagship that has xda community support such as HTC M7 / M8, samsung flagships with Snapdragon cpu...

Getting a Samsung Feel on 6.0.1

Hi All,
Does anyone know if there is a way to update the SM-P900 ROM but still keep full functionality for the S-Pen, and Samsung apps?
I'm on 5.0.2, have TWRP installed, and am rooted.
I tried a 6.0.1 CM ROM, but it loses a lot of the ability that the Samsung ROM has, as well as many people mentioning that it has issues with the S-Pen causing crashes.
Basically, I'd like to get the security updates, and 6.0.1 options, without losing the rest of the Note functionality, because it feels like CM removes the whole point of being on a Note Tablet, which for me is the S-Pen.
CM is fine and all, but it's always felt too AOSP for me, when used on devices like the Note series.
My Note 3 is on a Note 5 port, that allows basically everything to be modified without losing the important features, and I realize that might not be a realistic expectation on the 12.2 Pro, it seems like a waste of good hardware for the background OS not being updated yet still maintaining itself as a Note device.
Any thoughts on if this is possible, or is it simply a matter of the hardware lacking the ability to run 6.0.1 and the software lacking the compatibility?
Thank you!
This isn't likely what you want to hear. But Samsung's "feel" relies on its TouchWiz interface, which for our tablet is not available in Marshmallow. However, if you want a rooted tablet that's somewhat debloated yet still has TouchWiz, I'd recommend the excellent CivZ Lollipop. Perhaps you know of it already. If not...
