[Q] Can Android 4.4.2 "KitKat" be downgraded to "Jelly bean" 4.3? - General Questions and Answers

Hi!
So, not a long ago, I upgraded my tablet from 4.2 to 4.3 Jellybeans, It went awesome, some apps went better than before!
But... Today I upgraded from 4.3 to the new KitKat 4.4.2, and now I feel horrible... A lot of apps got slow as hell, and others stopped working, An example is DraStic, a Nintendo DS emulator with a perfect performance, with KitKat now it looks like a slideshow, a very slow one, so, my questiĆ³n is simple, can it be downgraded ummm... Without root? Or do I have to get rooted my tablet and then flash the previous ROM?
By now im stuck In KitKat, it sucks, seriously.

[Q] Android 4.2 on n8010

When samsung actualize note 10.1 n8010/n8000 to android 4.2 jelly bean? Are there any new tidings about this topic?
best thing to do would be to keep and eye on sammobile, they are usually up to date all new rumors / updates.
No none of the manufacturers have yet announced any date or new for updating any of the devices to 4.2.
So it is an endless wait
Im guessing some time after all of 4.1.1 and then 4.1.2 has been delivered to the entire world.
Well it will be a long long time 6 months or more

[Q] S Note app on CM 10.2

Hello guys,
I would like to install CM 10.2 on my Note 10.1. It is really icredibly fast and smooth with longer battery life.
But what I would like to ask about, is that, if I flash this ROM:
1- Can I get S Note app to run on it? I use this app a lot for my notes and learning.
2- Can I get a solution for multi-screen? I used already HALO using XPOSED framework on my S III and loved it. So, does HALO work as well on Note 10.1 running CM 10.2?
3- Any "severe" problems that prevent it from being a choice as a daily driver?
4- I already installed CM 10.2 on Tab 10.1 Verizon LTE (p4vzw) and loved the fact that the notifications pannel is separated from the navigation bar. Is this the case as well in Note 10.1?
5- Any drawbacks in using the SPen?
I have searched and googled a lot for answers to these questions, but could not find any.
Every tiny help is hugely appreciated

What?!?! Wait for Kit Kat?!?! OMG, we have been waiting for months now for 4.2.2 and we became more patient when they stepped up to 4.3 without 4.2.2 upgrade and we are still waiting!! And when they released some S III 4.3 updates, they were horrible and got pulled after hours!!!
Kit Kat won't be released for months!!! And when released, Android 5.0 or 5.1 will be already released!!! If not even buggy!
Anyways, any alternatives to S Note for importing PDF files and taking notes?

[Q] Tablet UI on note 10.1 on Kitkat rom

Hi every one,
I recently bought a 2012 version note 10.1 it was on jellybean 4.1.2 and I loved the user interface with nav bar and status bar fused at the bottom just like a computer. Infact It was one of the factor that I bought this tablet.
The problem arised recently as I updated to a 4.4.2 official build and lost that layout. Now it appears as a huge android stretched across whole 10 inches and I seriously hate the taste. It looks ugly.
Now I want to get it back is there any way root or no root to get that tablet ui back...?

I m also looking for that
There's currently no method to actually get back the old UI, but you can modify your build.prop to get the Note Pro notification and app switcher. The only option right now is to go back to the old Jellybean rom. You will need to flash it with Mobile Odin since KNOX is onboard. You won't be able to go back to the old bootloader, but the rom should work fine elsewise.
Agree... new interface is naf.
I went back using twrp recovery, luckily had made a back up.
You could try the gnabo rom, it's better than the official stock but still the appearance is not as good as the old 4.12

My phone is currently running Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It works just fine and I rarely lags but I am still considering to upgrade if that would make my phone even faster and add useful features. Its UI also looks really nice.
But before I upgrade I wanna be sure is it worth time I'd have to spend in the process and will it work well on the this phone.
I also don't wanna lose LG's software features such as Clip Tray.
Are there any ROMs for LG L Bello D331 and should I install one?

Most current SU/rooted Touchwiz Rom in 2020?

I used to rock a Galaxy S2 for a long time, from 2012-2015, and just bought a used one again for the novelty, and for use basically as MP3 player for live shows (once they get going again). Not planning on using this as a "daily driver" or putting in any SIM card, mainly just as a novelty retro device to play background music that's cheap to replace if someone stole it at a gig.
I'm having a hard time sorting through what's available here. I used to have a Touchwiz-based Jelly Bean ROM installed that had different elements in there, I think the last features it had were things from the Galaxy Note II and Galaxy S4. It was basically a fine-tuned version of TouchWiz with all the bloat removed. I remember the camera being particularly good and much clearer than stock. I don't mind if its a Jelly Bean, Ice Cream Sandwich or whatever came later, Kit Kat, etc but mainly am just trying to find the best TouchWiz based custom rom just for nostalgia fun.
I also understand that the Play Store probably doesn't work with any of the available Android versions, this is mainly to be used as an MP3 player, and maybe rarely as an extra video camera, and I may side load old versions of an NES/SNES emulator and that's it. Thanks for any help!
im using this phone still, using the unofficial lineageOS 14.1 by celox
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2-tmobile/rom-cyanogenmod-14-0-celox-t3470659
google apps works and not many problems but runs very slow, slow that it makes me angry
without gapps runs faster but still slow
phones really old, use it mostly for an alarm clock and 1 app
Wonder if adding the low ram flag would speed it up?
And overclocking?

Hi just came across this forum, I run a custom cyanogenmod 10 based Android Jellybean 4.3 rom, and it makes my Galaxy S2 run very fast.
90% of the things I want to do still work, including google calendar, web browser etc, and you can download apks of older versions of anything that won't run.
A lot of apps supported JellyBean until 2019, and the playstore version is from 2020, so not that old.
@ARPwizard you may also like this.
If you are interested, this is the rom I am using:
